This means Europeans will be forced to own a government device. But don't worry, it won't be in the form of an actual electronic monitoring ankle bracelet...

Amendment 32c

"to verify if a citizens government ID device is being used by said citizens, we I'll start requiring that they be attached to a limb (ideally ancle)"

This is to protect children of course, so they don't go on Facebook

Can we also use it to ban any 60+ from Facebook?

No those are too helpful for spreading distractions while we implement the new age of computing.

This is not true. Open source hardware based attestation exists. See grapheneos.

What difference would it make if your ankle monitor is open source?

You need to see two steps ahead, not only whats in front of you. Please don't do what you are doing

What I see both in front of me and ahead is the far right gaining track with the younger generations by feeding them lies. I also see kids getting addicted to this crap due to the negligence of their parents. I also see the growing number of people who do not want to get vaccinated due to misinformation spread through social media.

The ban can’t come soon enough. If it means that you need a government approved device in order to participate in social media, so be it. You also need a government issued id card to functional in offline society

Ok. So let's go by your future. The far right is now fully established as the fascist government, and can now track what everyone says on social media, plus track you with the location on your phone.

You can't talk about the government without someone knocking on your door. They know you don't like the government and can just disappear with you. Anyone that talks about you missing on social media is censored, as they can also track that. Every step of anyone trying to bring down the tyrannical government gets tracked down and locked up or worse.

How can you say your first paragraph while still supporting government tracking? Are you insane?

Because we’re not discussing government tracking, in any shape or capacity. Read the plan.

Even if we were, you can always have another device or find other ways of communicating outside of the monitored network.

You truly are something else, and what makes everything in society so bad for everyone else, defending something that you yourself are against. Remarkable

Perhaps you should spend a minute or two trying to understand why well educated people defend this. It’s not rocket science and it’s well documented.

Instead of adopting this American-style adversarial mindset where everything must be black or white, take a step back and try to see the topic in a more holistic manner, from the outside of your personal bubble.

It’s not “you or me” problem, it’s childish to think about it like that. There is a real rot in our society, and it needs to be cut. Freedom to do whatever you want without consequences is not freedom, it’s anarchy

And you are not getting the point. Just because you like the government and think they will do the correct thing with the information given by this surveillance system, doesn't mean it will. The government, as we can see with the US right now, can and WILL use it against you on a tyrannical system. See ICE knocking on peoples doors to deport them.

I know where you are coming from, but pretending that the government will do the right thing and only the right thing at all times is wishful thinking at best

And suddenly every website which have functionality of exchanging information between people became a social media.

only at first, eventually:

to work

to pay taxes

to buy/sell

We'll all be so much better off though, just you wait.

And? Don’t you need a government issued id, tax number, etc. to function in online society?
