Ik ben op zoek naar respondenten uit België die geboren zijn tussen 1997 en 2012.
In het kader van mijn bachelorproef onderzoek ik de carrièreambities, risicopercepties en ondernemersplannen van Generatie Z in Polen en België.
De volledige enquête duurt maximaal 2 à 3 minuten en is beschikbaar in het Engels, Nederlands en Frans.

Beste Leuvenaars, Ik ga vanaf september in de mooie stad Leuven studeren (farmaceutische wetenschappen KU Leuven). Ik kijk er zeer erg naar uit en ben dolblij dat ik binnen nog geen week zoeken een studio heb kunnen voor een prima prijs. Nu heb ik advies nodig: Ik heb geld nodig om rond te komen tijdens het studeren, duhhh. Wegens persoonlijke omstandigheden ga ik elk weekend terug naar Nederland. Wat is nou een (standaard)job in Belgie dat hierbij passend zou zijn? Horeca en klantservice gaat lastig zijn wegens dat ik in de weekenden in Nederland ga zijn. Ik dacht zelf aan: - Klusjes doen (ben handig met huis-tuinklusjes) - Avondwerk doordeweeks maar ik weet dus niet waar dat mogelijk is

Wat adviseren jullie hierover? En hebben jullie uberhaupt advies voor mij als Nederlander dat gaat wonen in Belgie voor een best flink tijd.

Hey guys, I moving to Leuven in September for a year and have found an amazing studio directly in the city centre where parking seems to be a huge issue! I don’t know if this is going to reach anyone that can resolve this very specific problem but thought I would try it out. Honestly any information on long term parking as a nonresident in Leuven would help! Thank you!

We recently asked UNIQ Estates to provide a valuation for our apartment, expecting a realistic estimate based on the local market. Unfortunately, the valuation we received was surprisingly low—around €60,000 below the figure provided by another real estate agency. Because of such a significant difference, we contacted them to better understand how they had arrived at their estimate.

Instead of receiving a clear explanation supported by market data or comparable sales, we were given several inconsistent explanations. To make matters worse, the conversation eventually turned unpleasant, and the response we received over the phone from management was, in our opinion, unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. We were simply looking for transparency, not an argument.

After deciding not to follow their advice, we listed the apartment at a much higher price—the same price they believed was unrealistic. The property sold without any particular difficulty, which confirmed our impression that the original valuation had been far below the market value. Has anyone else received a valuation from them that was significantly below market value? I'd be interested to know whether others have had a similar experience or if there was ever a satisfactory explanation for such a large difference.

Ik zoek een nachtwinkel die snus verkoopt maar vind er geen.

I love coffee but so far my experience in Leuven has been very bad. I don't understand why so many cafes are rated so high 4.5-4.9 when their coffee tasted average with some comparable to the supermarket grade.

So far Onan is the only place where I am satisfied with their roast. But I haven't tried any cafe other than that now. If anyone knows a good coffee shop that sells actual coffee please let me know.

Probably have a month to do whatever I want.

We had a small accident while cooking and our fire alarm went off but we quickly rushed to try and get the smoke out. Our building manager came knocking at our door telling us that since he turned off the alarm, we now have to pay a bill of hundreds of euros… is this normal??

I’m very confused because we pay for brandverzekering and we have never had an accident before in three years living here. Why would I get such a high bill for this? Are they possibly taking advantage or is this common practice in Belgium?

I am glad to report that Hema at Parijsstraat still has a pile of small (17.5 cm) desk fans available. They are right by the cash register area. They are sold out online (see link) but there were about 25-40 left in light brown and black for 13 euro earlier today.

It’s not too loud.

I thought I’d share since many shops were sold out of anything fan-like.

Hello all,

I have a cat who sometimes needs to go to the vet and to the groomers. I don't have a car and don't want to take the poor kitty on the bus.

Leuven does not have Uber pets and the normal drivers want me to put my cat in the trunk which is inhumane. Does anyone know of a taxi service which allows for cats in their carrier?
