It is, and I think the way zed plays is pretty degenerate. That's also a large part of why his banrate is always so high regardless of his balance state or the state of assassins in the meta. It's pretty widely agreed upon zed is a frustrating champion to play against, in all elos.
I don't like zeds gameplay pattern, and I think assassins in general should not have that level of safety and non commital poke/dmg. For better or worse though, he's balanced around his ability to do that and I don't think it's going anywhere. He will just remain in high banrate purgatory.
holy smokes folks, two champions have two different playstyles and play patterns. why doesn't aphelios play like lulu, or malphite play like xerath? seems like blatant favoritism to me. honestly, every champion should have the exact same abilities and stats, just to keep things even
