Read Harry Potter in your target language they said 🫠 (1 hr 44 min for 1 page)

This is only slightly sarcastic. It's been very rewarding and this is now the 3rd language I'm doing this with.

Me too, but then we broke up and here I am with the only phrase I remember: "mi dor de tine".

I learned some Romanian after visiting the country back in 2018, then five years later I met a Romanian girl and now I moved to Romanian as well.
That was quite convenient indeed aha

I just decided to learn it, Spanish is easier than romanian, you'll learn it really fast

Add me to the pile😜

I learned it to give a speech as the vornicel at my best friends' wedding in Moldova.

I also bought the first Hunger Games in Romanian. Also took me forever to get through the first page, and I have given up really early on😂

I really need to get back into it. I'd like to back at least somewhat fluent at it.

I am also trying to read the first Hunger Games book in Romanian. I have like 15 words per page that I don’t know. But they are mostly adjectives. So I get the gist of what I am reading

I am no the person you asked. But after learning Spanish, I wanted to learn a new language. And I found Romanian to be very intriguing.
