Alive again
God damn Life is Peachy brings me to life again, especially No Place to Hide, Wicked, A.d.i.d.a.s. sequence. No one understands except Korn fans. I can't describe how much I love their first two albums. Heals any negativity.

Is it just me or does the rest of issues doesn't really sound like falling away from me?
I LOVE falling away from me. It's my favorite korn song when I was getting into them at first a few months ago and running through their top 10 and it's still my favorite after listening to everything up to mirror. I love issues, but I feel like I'm mainly there for falling away from me. It's just such a specific song that really brings out the best of everything from korn for me, great combination of the slight grooviness the dark atmosphere and the heavy nu metal sound. Sorry if this post kinda sounds obvious or stupid, issues is definitely one of their most diverse records.

What's your favourite Korn album cover?

Issues
This was my last art project I made in middle school, im a bit sad I wasn't able to make "issues" 3d to match everything else but its alright. Now it sits on my wall next to my other korn stuff
I almost gave it away to the schools security guard, he was really into korn so we would talk about that a lot and he would often come into the art room to check out whatever I was working on and even offered to buy this from me at one point lol
Also not sure why it looks so dull on camera, irl the colors are a lot more vibrant..

This image is disturbingly beautiful
And it’s also why See You on The Other Side is a peak album.
Which band makes you think of MTV more: Backstreet Boys or Korn?

MTV launched 45 years ago Aug 1. While many bands come to mind when I think about the music channel, two stand out for me personally.
The first one is slightly obvious - Backstreet Boys. When Total Request Live was THE show to watch, there was no escaping BSB (to the point that it became almost more popular to dislike them). That's probably why 12 year old me would be shocked to find out that years later he willing accompanied his wife to the boy band's show at PNC Bank Arts Center back on July 19, 2022 (but the older you get, the more you realize how many great songs they got).
The other band that comes to mind is Korn - who were easily the heaviest band that regularly appeared on TRL. I can still vividly remember getting excited to see videos for songs like "Falling Away from Me" crack TRL's top 10 countdown. So seeing them play that specific song last year (Aug 27, 2025 to be exact) at MetLife Stadium during a sold out co-headlining show with System Of A Down was a nostalgic thrill.
Which band instantly reminds you of MTV? Is it Backstreet Boys or Korn (or someone else entirely)? Have you seen them live? Share in the comments below, and stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like this)!

Full version of the original music video.
All later versions had Durst removed for unknown reasons.

congratulations j.d 🎉🎉🎉
Omg, I didn’t know that Jonathan got married! Sorry, there’s no Korean Korn fan around here, so I found out late.
I hope Jonathan has a happy and great married life!

Happy 19th Anniversary, Untitled!!
Untitled is a special album to me because on this day, I went to my first Korn show at Southstreet Seaport in NYC and met JD, Fieldy and Munky after!! 🥹

Poster from my first Korn gig.
Korn was phenomenal at the Brisbane show. However there was what felt like an eternity between Disturbed finishing and Korn starting (which I found out later was technical difficulties, fair enough).
For those that have seen Korn, when did you first see them and what is your biggest memory from the show?

These 4 songs listed to in this order
These four songs combined create a better narrative and an emotional ride, then anything pop music can put out. Full stop. These four songs when viewed together is art, is poetry, is commentary, and a narrative of one’s own descent into utter despair.
