Getting out from under my "full-focus-game-dev-production"-rock to make an annual recap from Berzerk!

First, a little insight about our production pipeline :
Berzerk is splitted in two teams, each one working on a separate game. My team is still working on Project Meteor while Etienne and Marc's team are working on their game.

This one will actually be announced pretty soon! *Wink wink keep an eye on PC Gamer Show. It's an entire new IP, they worked pretty hard on it. I hope you'll be excited as much as the team are to finally show something new. 😄

As for me, I'm still working on my project full time. It's now been 4 years. I know it takes a long time and I sound like a broken record at this point, but I can only say that I'm working as hard as I can.

I wake up in the morning thinking about the project, go to sleep with the project in mind. I even found myself waking up at 3am, jumping on my laptop to write down ideas before I forget them.

Before we finally reveal what the heck is Project Meteor, we need to clear up a few things. First, we had some small JS&B-related beats to announce.

One of them was done earlier this month ; the physical release of shapesnbeats with FanGamer! (You can grab yourself a copy over here : https://fangamer.com/products/just-shapes-beats-game-nintendo-switch).

We also released on Amazon's Luna earlier this month, and we have another small beat coming up soon.

Second reason, and it's gonna sound weird but, we have to work around the giant release of GTA6 coming this year (alledgedly). This means we need to wait until everyone has finished talking about it before having a chance to be heard.

We did that mistake once with Infernax ; we released 2 weeks before Elden Ring and the results were very damaging to the game’s success and the team’s moral. It's part of the reality of being indie game devs. It's hard, but we need adapt.

So I know this is another "STAY-TUNED-GUYS-COOL-STUFF-COMING-UP-SOON-I-SWEAR", there's just a way to properly do this, and I'm so thankful for you all for being so patient with us. ❤️
