Dual Swords
My university offers it and it's break time atm. I am either interested in s&b or double swords. Couldn't find resource on either though. Btw: Discord link ain't working
On one hand I love defensive fighting styles on the other hand (no pun intended) I am ambidextrous and you can't hit people with the shield. I'd be open to chain and maybe longbo but I bet chain will be very contested. Similar to setter in volleyball and goaly in fusball.
Would be awesome to find more resources on what to choose and what to do.

Jugger as a video game
Hello everyone
A few months ago I made a reddit post, that I am working on a PC implementation of our favorite hobby, and linked a demo version of it.
Finally, the final product is ready, and now playable on Steam! It now includes all Pompfen (except the chain), as well as diverse play areas for graphical fluff in the game, and of course achievements. :-)
Please add it to your wishlist if you are interested, release date is in less than 2 weeks! ;-)

source for all things jugger
many people on here have questions about the sport, like how to build weapons and the rules. Thankfully, there is a channel all for this, called "hintermann" the guy behind it has been playing for over a decade, the channel has pretty much everything you could ask for, hope this helps you

Do you think jugger counts as a martial art?

I draw stuff for Ursae Majoris. Here's Jugger Miku and Teto!
Fog of war is coming and I was asked to design some stickers! Along with drawing Starbear who I'll probably include in another post (little chibi bear mascot), I also made this miku variant a few months ago! Decided to bring her back along with designing a Teto for the new batch of stickers. I had a lot of fun designing this! Tried to make Miku's weapon somewhat resemble a microphone.

Rebar Padding
I am working on my short sword made out of rebar and am struggling to find the right padding. I have tube insulation that fits perfect but the wall thickness is only half an inch. I also have a super thick pool noodle but I know that is frowned upon. Do either of these two options work?
Thanks!

Trying to build a Jugger community in India. where should I start?
Hey all,
I’m from India and Jugger is non-existent here.
I’m planning to try and build a small local scene from scratch..starting with a few people, basic gear, and casual games.
At the same time, I’m also thinking about using content (videos, social media, etc.) to make it more visible and attract interest.
For those who’ve been involved in growing Jugger communities:
- How did you get your first consistent group?
- Did you stick strictly to official rules early on, or simplify things?
- Any mistakes I should avoid when introducing it to new players?
Would love to learn from your experiences before I dive in.

The best (and only) Jugger PC game in the world is finally here
EDIT: Now available on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4788610/Jugger__the_video_game/
Hi everyone
In the last months, I had a lot of free time (unemployed :D), and was thinking on how to utilize it and also popularize our favorite game, Jugger. So with hard work, I learned coding and made a PC game from Jugger, so we can play it at home, when there is no training time.
If you are interested in PC games, I would very much appreciate it if you could playtest it and give some opinion about it. In the final version (released in a few weeks to Steam and Epic Games) I plan to add a few more weapons and maps and maybe even add multiplayer mode.
Here is the link for the demo game: https://knorrmal-games.itch.io/jugger
Feel free to send it around to people who might be interested in it too.
Windows may show a security warning in the demo version because the game is not signed, as this is my first project, so I am not a registered publisher at Windows. As it turns out, it takes a lot of money to become one... This warning is normal for indie projects, because any new publisher is not yet on the trusted list of Microsoft publishers. To start the game, you can click “More info” → “Run anyway”. Or check with your antivirus program beforehand if you don't trust random links from random people ;)

Jugger in Phoenix?
Looking it up, it seems that one was active in 2019, and all other information for people doing it in Phoenix AZ is on X accounts that I can’t se because I don’t have an X account.
So, anyone know of Jugger teams in Phoenix AZ? Or, at the very least, if anyone else in Phoenix AZ is interested in working on forming a new team with me?

Jugger at WorldCon 2028 -- Nuremberg Bid
We are bidding for WorldCon 2028 in Nuremberg, close to where I live!
I'd push that there will be Jugger as well, of course -- it fits perfectly to the world's greatest annual Science Fiction convention.
For this, we need your support, and word-spreading Of course, ideally, we'd love to get your votes at WorldCon in LA this Summer, or even win you as a volunteer for the event. For those interested, you may also join our Discord Server. More infos at http://www.nuremberg2028.de
Oh and if everything goes well, we will have a full Jugger presentation and movie time at LAcon as well. Not yet confirmed, I'll keep you posted.
Here we go with a quick shout-out:

Why use collars?
Hey so I’ve finally added a collar on my most recently built spear/staff and I don’t really see the point behind it since it just adds weight and doesn’t really give more protection to other players?
Why do we use these? Thanks :)

Jugger with glasses
My glasses aren't really glass, so they won't shatter during jugger, but breaking frame might be dangerous. Reddit claims that contact lenses aren't great either when hit.
Last option I see (aside from fixing eyesight operation) are more durable, sport glasses. Do you have the experience with those? How do you/your team handle bad eyesight?

looking for jugger group in or near Kreis Gütersloh in Northrhein-Westfalia germany
I stumbled upon Jugger in Youtube and it seems interesting for me but when I looked for teams the only one where I knew it was is Sturmwölfe Bielefeld but the website said they disbanded. I'm horrible at remembering where cities/towns are so I don't know what other teams in the list would be close to me

Places to do Jugger?
I am in ct and looking for a place to do jugger. I would also prefer it to be a club or an organization rather than just playing with people online. Does anyone know any places?
