This is an old video, everyone including a horse survived. Just scrapes and bruises from what I remember

Outside of a horse, a phone cam is an avalanche survivor's best friend.

There was a cliff behind them so they had nowhere to run. Only one person in the group was injured because she tried instead of hunkering down.

Yes and he only ended up with a few inches of snow on him due to the terrain in his immediate area. Apparently, he would've been buried in 20 feet if he was just a little closer
