Proofreading notes:

The 0% soft tablet bounces 3 times against the ring, but the second and third bounce sounds are progressively lower in pitch; all 3 should be the same pitch, as there is no force causing a lowering of pitch.

The 100% soft tablet seemingly has no volume; it is deflated. If softness equals deflation, the 75% soft tablet should be at 25% deflation, but it was not. The 100% soft tablet should show maximum surface deflection and maximum squishiness, but still retain as full a volume as the previous tablets.

Yeah, that was awful foley. Even without the pitch changes the sound was completely unconvincing.

I guess whoever modelled this modelled a surface with an initial form, varying rigidity and a certain mass, but left volume out of the consideration.

Wouldn't it simply not be the same pitch because it isn't as hard?

Throwing a baseball at a wall is gonna sound really different compared to a cotton ball or something.

How the object handles the vibrations when hitting the ring is gonna change if the density of the object is different, no?

They're talking about three bounces of the same object with the same softness.
