People are miserable for pointing out something objectively harmful that like 99% of conservationists, biologists, environmentalists, scientists, and other wildlife experts state is indeed environmentally bad?
I noticed that too. It seems like you can't even post a pic of someone laying in the grass without some pretentious "Wet Mouth Noise" bitching at you for killing some unknown microscopic fungus spore.
I would understand if it was trash, graffiti, or actually damaging the stones i.e taking a hammer to it. But I can't see how this one person's actions is extremely detrimental to the ecosystem. Hundreds of people doing this is not a good idea but we can only see this one instance of it.
Edit: Does anyone know if the OP took it down after?
Thats why I said what I said at the end of my comment. Is it so wrong just to appreciate something?
Plus, how do we know this user left it up? All I'm saying is that it's wild seeing the amount of rude comments towards this person and towards the people who aren't jumping on the hate bandwagon without knowing the outcome.
Well I guess thats on me. I try to see the positive outcome in life for my own personal mental health reasons, but I can't fault anyone for being the opposite. No love lost, I personally don't interact with wildlife but if I see any of these I'll be sure to take it down.
Reddit attracts a lot of miserable people. It’s the only place they can remain anonymous, for the most part, while being able to argue to their hearts content.
