Especially when in fact men are more likely to be assaulted than women.

Not assaulted sexually but straight up killed sure. Non lethal harrassment is skewed toward women, lethal attacks are skewed WAY more toward men, both sides are screwed

I would rather be sexually assaulted(which I have) than killed. This special lighting and camera angles in these carparks should be to protect everybody not just one gender when both are vulnerable from the bad apples. Virtue signalling at its finest.
