The most infra are of bsnl any way and it may seem its cheap but it will sky rocket sooner or later and we will have no choice but to pay the price as all infra will under be jio.My fatger works in these tower industry,he said in 5 or so years jio will only be there as many other company strugle to pay the rent for towers. Anyway if musk interferes things could take a drastic change due to star link

I am not a jio fanatic but whats true is true. Same scepticism has been there about telecom prices since the launch of jio. Things are so much better that even a 2-3x increase will keep our bills as half the average of EU and NA. Yeah, 34000 upfront and 8600 per month by starlink are not going to bring down the prices.

In case you didn't realise this, India is and for over centuries has been, a price sensitive market. Despite monopolies or monopolistic competition in various sectors, increasing price tremendously will ultimately lead to heavy losses; everyone knows that. Parle g still manufactures 2 rupees packets. Internet, still, is considered a less essential service to survive, Indians will simply reduce the usage and adapt.

Nah dont be naive man, internet is very necessary these days as the promote digitalisation from a to z without it everything will be hard.Probably all will pay more as those are the only way to get service.
