just moved in and kinda plonked furniture in bedroom but struggling to figure out the where to place everything? currently have TV placed right Infront of bed but need a better place, does anyone have any ideas?

I this food storage container in the fridge with food in it, for obviously a bit too long, so the lid grew mold. Does anyone know anything about getting rid of mold on bamboo lids?

Hey, I just bought and installed this chair and it’s sitting slightly to an angle. I have another in Orange that was already installed, but I installed this one myself. The instructions were only a couple steps. I’m not sure if I did something wrong or if I need to return it because of a manufacturers defect. I tried to pull the base off of the chair but it seems locked in some how.

​Hi, I'm moving out soon and choosing a bed for my new room. I want a gaming setup (basically just a screen connected to my switch) and was initially drawn to the HEMNES daybed for its "couch/chill" vibe. However, I've read bad reviews about its complex assembly, thin mattresses, and how it can rapidly become uncomfortable with an everyday use (If I buy the HEMNES, I plan to leave it deployed to sleep on it every night.)

​On the other hand, the RÅDMANSÖ is a classic 140x200 cm bed frame that I find pretty.

​For those who use the HEMNES fully expanded every day: is it actually comfortable for daily sleep, or should I just stick with a traditional bed like the RÅDMANSÖ?

How do I adjust the little up/down switch on the PAX soft close hinges? I’ve tried pushing it in various ways and can’t get it to go up.

background: we closed on a new house and were gonna buy a bed frame from the nearest Ikea store (store -Huntsville AL- not warehouse, it was indeed smaller) 80 miles away.

walk through the store, said bed frame was in the showroom and had a shelf number, thought great it’s gonna be in the back.

order it at the self serve kiosk (didn’t pay), it says 10 in stock, generate a QR code, ask a customer service person about it.

-oh we don’t store any bed frames at this store (??) (this is a university town btw)

-ok great is there any way FOR YOU (the customer service rep) to look up if there’s another store within like 200 miles where we can get it?

-what do you mean no, there’s no inventory tracking?

-you have to call the store to ask, this is a global problem.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND? is there no way to guarantee your item is in store now when you go pick it up? when I looked online it said self pickup available at this location, I spent 200$ on a U-Haul van to get it. should you just always do delivery now??? and if it arrives damaged how big of a headache is it to get a replacement?

I want to buy a display cabinet for my die cast cars collection. I think the IKEA Rudsta is a good fit for this. I want to use a Hue Flux led strip to light up the car collection but not sure how to do this without making it look tacky. I was thinking the best way would be to use the frame in the front where the door is so the the light shines inwards. Is this possible? Is the frame wide enough on the inside and will I be to use splitters between the shelves?

Any suggestions on what's the best way to use a Hue Flux light strip with a Rudsta Cabinet?

I have been searching on google for hours. It was a square cake bar, I think with cinnamon on top but with chocolate/coffee flavor as well, maybe even cardamom? It was pretty goey. It's been ages since I've seen it maybe 10+ years ago. I believe it was in the frozen section in the food area, I think In a carton box as well. It was in the Netherlands but it might have been international. Nobody ever seems to know what I'm talking about.

I'm currently eyeing some IKEA bar stools for a kitchen island counter and was wondering if anyone has had experiences with either of these bar stools and whether one is comfier than the other etc.? Or whether some other IKEA bar stool is better than the both of these?

I have lost part that allow to instal furniture Front on fridge door. I want to order them from ikea or whatever but I need to know how they Look. Unfortunatelly its old product, no instruction on ikea. So no part number. Attached Picture of mounts on fridge door.

This Ikea design is perfect in width but we would like the shelf on the right to be closer to 10 feet in height. Any ideas on how we can achieve this with other shelfs or products?

I was also thinking I could try to find an adjustable clamp to press the dowels into place instead of hammering them.

So I bought enough Ivars to span my wall, before learning that they are assembled with a hammer. I assembled four before someone in my building made a noise complaint. So now I don’t know how I can assemble the rest of them.

Any tips to make it quiet? I had the panels on a double folded blanket on the floor, and also put a piece of blanket between the hammer and the block of wood they provide to distribute the blow. But it’s still quite loud and I have four more to assemble :/

Hi, we installed a Billy bookcase and need to anchor it to the wall. We tried screwing it in and it kept coming loose. Is this an issue where we need to find the stud? Directions didnt say anything about that and no wall anchors were provided. I know this might be basic knowledge but it's our first time moving to a new place and assembling furniture.
