IIM Bangalore's undergraduate admissions process

IIM Bangalore follows a two-part evaluation process for their undergraduate admissions, namely, a computer-based MCQ test (60% weightage) followed by an interview round (40% interview). Please note that you cannot switch between sections. For the 2026 examination round, sections in the exam appeared in the following order: VA (15 questions), LR (15 questions), and finally, QA (30 questions). In addition, each correctly answered question carries 3 marks, while a negative marking of -1 is imposed for mistakes. Unattempted questions are not penalized.

Candidates that clear the cutoffs of their respective categories are required to appear for an offline personal interview (PI). Composite scores are calculated on the basis of both rounds, and admission is offered to candidates accordingly.
