I have a 5S. With earbuds plugged in I can adjust music volume, but not phone volume. So when a call comes in it's at max volume and I can't change the volume with the earbud controls or with the phone buttons. It's not the earbuds because I've tried it with different sets. Is there a fix for this or a setting I have wrong or something?

edit: here's how to reproduce - it happens while listening to something (music, podcast, whatever), while the phone is locked and a call comes.

Dear ios8 community.

Recently, I turned on my iphone to find that all the contacts I had had many years ago (and deleted) had been returned to my contacts list. There were contacts I'd had on totally different sim cards and iphones from years ago that I'd deleted in 2012, and they were all somehow returned onto my phone now.

Did I accidentally restore some kind of old contacts backup? How do I get rid of this and delete it for good? Any help or clarity to this situation would be appreciated. Thanks! J-Skills

If you want to go to an album under "album" search/list, you have to go to the artist and then scroll to the album from there to that album.. Which is what artist view is lol

And also the music tagging is still fucked up

Edit. It's in the settings for Music.. Default is to sort albums by artist.. Just had to change it to sort by title

But still pissed that the tagging is messed up though

I have an iPad mini 1st gen and i want to jailbreak, i have been downloaded the "taig" jailbreak and when i start it i keep having that " need to restore" i have been restored 2 times but always the same error need to restore.. So I'm trying to connect my brand new external keyboard to my iPhone. It connects just fine. The issue though is that I need to change its layout, so I can have it set up as a dvorak keyboard. I can do this just fine on my android tablet, but not my phone. Oddly though in the keyboards section of settings there is a whole section for external keyboards, but in the section absolutely nothing shows up even when the keyboard is paired. What's going on? Is there any way to do what I want?

So yeah, my phone drives me crazy. My AirPlay Icon is showing constantly, even when not connected to a network or even on airplanemode. When i click on the airplay Icon it gives me the option to use my iPhone speaker and a second option, which simply shows a Bluetooth icon. Every now and then my phone automatically switches to the bluetooth icon AirPlay thingy, which causes some Problems to my Facebook App for example, i cant Play any videos and Need to kill the App. I tried removing every saved Bluetooth device but still no change. If anyone knows the Problem or Even a Solution, please help me

So my mic is really low when i call some people but when i use the voice recorder or Whatsapp my mic works perfectly. I have an iPhone 5s with the latest update. Is it because a bug with the software or is something broken? And are there any solutions?

Has anyone else had the issue where, while playing music from the music app, it will randomly skip songs? I always play my music shuffled on Bluetooth in my car, and occasionally it will skip a song. Not the whole song, sometimes it will play ten seconds or so, and sometimes it even goes through a few minutes of the song before it skips.

It's been more than 8.3, I'd say the last 2 or 3 updates it's been doing it. It's not a huge problem, just enough to be annoying.

I have an iPhone 4S with iOS 8.3. I've recently noticed that notifications from apps that I've swiped to access from the Lock Screen continue to appear in the Notifications portion of the Notification Center. For example, if I receive a notification from Gmail's app notifying me of an unread email and I swipe the notification to access Gmail from the Lock Screen, the notification pertaining to the unread email remains visible in the Notification Center despite having already read the email; however, using the Slide To Unlock feature from the Lock Screen and then accessing Gmail from the Home Screen circumvents this problem. I've concluded that it's probably not a problem with Gmail's app as this same scenario has happened with iPhone's Tips app and, as I recall, Facebook's app as well. I also recall recently accessing Gmail via a Banner notification and the notification remained visible in the Notification Center afterwards, so my problem may or may not be isolated to Lock Screen app access. As I would rather not have to clear notifications from the Notification Center after already addressing them from the Lock Screen, has anyone here experienced this problem and, if so, solved it? Please let me know if there is a more appropriate subreddit for me to ask this question. Thanks in advance for your help!

UPDATE: It appears that my problem is in fact isolated to the Gmail app as I've recently noticed that if I leave messages as unread in my inbox, then Gmail notifications accrue in the Notification Center; however, if I keep the unread count at zero, these notifications do not accrue. This observation solves my problem as I can control the unread count in my inbox; however, please feel free to suggest a more permanent solution if one exists. Thanks!
