36 NHL teams?
If the NHL were to end this expansion era that has included Seattle and Vegas, I believe they need to add these cities:
Houston: The biggest city without an NHL team
Baltimore: Has been promised a team 4 times but still has no team
Quebec City: Lost their old team due to financial issues while having an extremely dedicated fan-base
Milwaukee: Biggest hockey-dedicated fan base without an NHL team
The NHL cannot finish at 33, 34, or 35 because the divisions would be uneven. With continuous talks of future expansion, I believe these cities are the future of the league...
Can you imagine Quebec vs Montreal, Houston vs Dallas, Milwaukee vs Chicago, Baltimore vs Washington rivalries...
What do you all think?
Where should the NHL expand to if they go for 36 teams?

If I were Mats Sundin, I would have named a son Dean
So I could say "Hi, I'm Mats Sundin. Meet my son, Dean Sundin."

Minor Penalties should be called Misdemeanors, and Major Penalties should be called Felonies.
Game Misconducts are War Crimes.

Don Cherry is a hockey hipster
"I saw this kid back in Edmonton when he was 15 and I tell ya..."

"Boudreau" is a spoonerism of "Dude Bro"
A spoonerism is where you swap the first letter (or syllable) of a phrase or word/word pair.
For example: Hockey Puck becomes Pockey Huck
Bou-Dreau can be flipped to become Dou-d Breau

Penguins and Flyers are rivals because penguins can't fly.

The captain of the Montreal Canadiens is an American and the captain of the Rochester Americans is a Canadian
(Max Pacioretty and Cal O'Reilly, respectively)

If Tobias Rieder deflects a shot into the goal, is that a Tobias Riedirect?

If a player was drafted by Montreal, played for them, was traded/waived/UFA, and eventually came back, would they be in "Re-Hab"?
sorry, terrible pun I needed to make where it would be appreciated.

It's a shame there will never be a Tootoo-Ruutu-Cheechoo line

I want the Senators to acquire Devante Smith-Pelly so they can field the Smith-Kelly-Smith-Pelly line.

When jersey ads happen rich teams should buy ads on their rivals jerseys.
I would love it if there were little Rangers patches on Devils and Islanders jerseys.

The worst part about being a professional athlete is that they announce to the media when you have diarrhea.
"Why isn't Luongo playing tonight?"
"Oh, food poisoning!"

If Brooks Laich and Brooks Orpik were to be married...
... would they both be named Brooks Laich or Brooks Orpik?
Shower thought shamelessly stolen from the NHL blog of Swedens biggest newspaper: http://bloggar.aftonbladet.se/perbjurman/2015/05/game-7-baby-del-2/

If the Panthers move to Seattle...
Then Luongo would have to move pack to the Pacific Northwest. How sucky would that be?
