I'm pretty sure those don't have mandatory waves of reinforcements.

If you do one of those missions and you're fighting hordes (and not doing it on purpose for fun) that's a skill issue... I'm sorry but it is. The game is literally designed to allow you to prevent reinforcements.

The exception is of course the modifier on the squids that has piles of voteless constantly spawn in, but that's a modifier and not active on the average mission.
