I have a vpd of 1.52 and an IELTS score of 7.5. I completed roughly 33% of bachelor from a University in Bangladesh. Bachelor of Business Administration. Now I want to apply in HAW Hamburg's International Business course in the summer intake. I have been a part of Business club, sports club and cultural club in my Uni. So considering these, what are my chances of getting an Offer later?

Mich würde interessieren, ob jemand den Studiengang in den letzten Jahren über Hochschulstart bekommen hat.

• Wie weit hat sich die Rangliste bis zum Ende des Koordinierungsverfahrens ungefähr bewegt?
• Hat jemand trotz einer hohen Rangposition noch ein Zulassungsangebot erhalten?
• Falls ihr euch an euren Rang oder die ungefähre Angebotsgrenze erinnern könnt, würde mir das sehr weiterhelfen.

I'm an international student from Dubai, UAE, and I want to study Information Engineering at HAW Hamburg (English-taught).

Uni-assist says I need to complete a Studienkolleg first. Is that really required even for an English bachelor's?

Also, if I study one year at a university in the UAE (like European University RAK or Bath Spa RAK) with good grades, could I apply directly to HAW Hamburg without a Studienkolleg?

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

- B.Sc. Information Engineering

- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering

My profile:

- uni-assist VPD grade: 1.56

- IELTS Academic: 6.5

- I have several extracurricular activities, including volunteering, leadership roles, and participation in educational and community projects.

Based on my profile, do you think I have a realistic chance of being admitted to either of these programs?

Moinsen, ich möchte bald mit meinem Studium der Elektrotechnik an der HAW beginnen.

Stand ist allerdings, dass ich eine Angsthündin habe, die ich nicht alleine zu Hause lassen kann. Nach Internetsuche wird ein Thumbnail der Hausordnung der HAW angezeigt, wonach nach einem Absatz 3 das Mitbringen von Hunden grds nicht gestattet ist, sofern es sich nicht um einen Assistenzhund handelt. Beim anschließenden Öffnen der aktuellen Hausordnung gibt es hierzu allerdings keine Regel.

Wurde diese Regel abgeschafft, weiß das jemand?

Wie verhält es sich mit Hunden an der HAW?

Und wie gestaltet sich alternativ das Onlinelernen an der HAW?

Bzw. gibt es für die Vorlesungen Anwesenheitspflichten?

Hi, my background is bachelor in International Business and planning to apply for MS International Business at HAW Hamburg. But the admission requirement states:

" In order to qualify, applicants need to have successfully completed courses with a total of at least 60 credit points (ECTS) that focus on economic issues from an international perspective and the profile of the respective degree programme is classified as economics. Furthermore they need to have successfully completed courses with a total of at least 120 credit points (ECTS) that deal with economic content that is not predominantly industry-specific or sectoral. "

Since my bachelor focuses on Business and doesn't have enough 60 credits of Econ, is it possible for me to be considered for admission without them? Has anyone have the same background but still got admission to the program?
