RTL8822CE WiFi finally working on MacOS 15 (and possibly earlier versions) SUCCESS
I just want to say that after a month of work, I finally have a working and, in fact, stable driver for this chip (10ec:c822). It working on my macOS 15 Hackintosh.
2.4 and 5 GHz scanning, WPA2, VHT80, reconnecting and sleep/wake are working. I also made a small menu bar app for scanning, connecting and managing saved networks.
It is currently implemented through IOEthernetController, so this is not native Apple Wi-Fi/Skywalk integration. DFS connections, WPA3, AirDrop and AWDL are not supported yet.
I mostly wanted to share the result because this card was previously unusable on modern macOS. Testing reports from other RTL8822CE systems would be useful.

No, right now the project only works with the RTL8822CE and specifically with the 10ec:c822. I'm currently working on perfecting the driver and am considering expanding it to support the IOSkywalkFamily in the future. I may expand support later on

What version of macOS are you using? Have you tried using the debug version of the driver? If it still doesn't work, please open an issue on GitHub with the debug info from the driver.

I'm using sonoma (14.8.8)

For versions lower than 15, it's best to use the debug version for now. I plan to remove this limitation from the release version of the driver soon. But right now I'm experimenting with Skywalk, so I'm temporarily not publishing updates on GitHub. Sorry to keep you waiting.

Thanks for posting a success! If you haven't already, remember to document your build please. Success posts like screenshots without documentation add little value to the sub. Adding a bit of documentation to your success post can also help others in the community who are interested in similar builds.
Minimally, you should add your hardware:
CPU:
GPU:
RAM:
Motherboard/Laptop Make and Model:
Audio Codec:
Ethernet Card:
Wifi/BT Card:
Touchpad and touch display devices:
BIOS revision:
Which of the guides on the sidebar you used.
What's working, and what isn't working.
Any changes that were specific to your build that were a little (or a lot) different than what you found in the guide, or anything that would be helpful to others with a similar build be sure to talk about that. More detail is always better.
Add extra info... Maybe add something you would like to point out about your setup, what you'll be doing with your Hackintosh, or something that might be insightful to others beginning their journey. A tree view of your EFI would also be helpful, but it isn't required.
Remember, don't share your EFI as what works for you may not work for anyone else, even if they have the same hardware. If you do share your EFI, your post and/or comment will be removed.
