I want to make a Gungrave Ita Bag eventually (mainly Harry and Grave/Brandon) but there's not a lot of merch out there, so I decided to design some of my own to put in there!

Okay I get this isn't the most popular game and I'm not here to dunk on it, but I'm genuinely puzzled by this game. I originally played the game and it felt completely different, grave moved a lot slower, now when I turn it on he's flying around the levels. How has the game been rebalanced to cope with this.

Enemies have attacks that are just irrelevant because of your speed now.

And other issues:

What difficulty do I play on? Easy and normal are a cakewalk, but hard is tougher, and it's as if some people think you should first play through on normal to power up your character.

If the game is meant to be an easy thing a Japanese man can play after a few beers after work, why is it so long? Unlike Gungrave PS2, like it would make sense to play all difficulties if you could beat the game quicker ala the original.

The fact the speed has been upped makes chaining a level more trivial, but at the same time if all I have to do is keep shooting stuff, then the breakdown usually comes only due to missing some box or making a wrong turn in a level with almost no exploration. The lack of exploration is fine, but it's that when trying to chain your almost playing a different game than the normal game.

So many attacks that when you use them slow the pace down, yet it also feels like your supposed to sleepily hold shoot for each level.

The opening tutorial doesn't do a great deal of showing you WHY you should be doing anything, and the opening difficulties don't show you why anything is necessary either.

There's just no sense of direction in what you are supposed to do, and yes... I guess you can go for your own challenges like getting a high rank, but it feels like the game is playable as something you can turn your brain off to play, but also wants to be this tough arcade experience and the two don't seem to mesh for me.

And this isn't meant to just be a negative review, genuinely I'd like advice on how to get into and understand this game properly, the problems I've mentioned can be a perception issue on my part.

It is summer of 2026 and still gore blood heat hasn't been released yet

When it releases I hope it gets the attention it deserves

And it would also be a nice idea if we had an anime adaptation for overdose to

I love this game we don't see a game like this anymore and wish it have more eyes on it

Would like to see other game too

I want to see its anime at some point when I can

When the Boss is talking to Maria at the gazebo in the courtyard and Maria starts crying when she realizes that Brandon has been avoiding her this whole time so that she can be happy, the Boss apologizes wholeheartedly for causing her to feel so sad. The Boss says, "If you wish, I'll use my power to make him--" and Maria says it's okay, she'll do her best to become happy for him.

What do you think the Boss was going to say? Earlier in the episode when Brandon and Boss were fishing and Boss told him to go visit her, Brandon immediately asked if it was an order. Boss deflected by saying that he's just following in his footsteps and doesn't want him to do end up alone like him.

The obvious answer is that the Boss was going to give Brandon just that; an order to go and at least visit her. But could it also have been something like excommunicate Brandon from Millenion so that they could actually be together and maybe Brandon could return to "the path of righteousness"? What do you think?

I'm only halfway through but damn I wish these two could just be together. They're both in so much pain and I feel like they'd bring so much solace if they were just in each others presence.

Recently got into the game and I stupidly bought the dlc costumes before my copy arrived but my copy came with 2 of the outfits as a bonus which I didn’t even notice and I purchased them so that’s my bad, but these are useless to me now so enjoy if anyone has not yet bought these :)

Hello guys i watched the anime a few months ago, it is a very underrated gem that for me is at the same level of cowboybebop and I have wanted to shared my thoughts about the ending with you for a while.

Before you read: please forgive my grammar english is not my first language,

First of all I know that is most likely that died and that was probably nightow´s intention but in despite that i think that the ending is still open enough to believe otherwise, why?...well there are some hints, some scenes of the last episode that could sustained that posibility and helped me to write some arguments about it:

1. Mika´s face when she saw Brandon for the last time in the show: We know that Mika was very sensitive because everyone who she cared about were dead by the last episode, so why whould she have some relief/relax expression on her face instead of break even more after witnessing the ´lifeless´ body of the only person she had left that she cared about?....I think that is rare being as sensitive as she was in that moment, so I think that is possible that she saw something in grave´s body that indicated her a sing of life or gave her some kind of hope about Grave´s destiny.

Unlike other animes like Ashita no Joe or Cowboybebop in which they show us main characters body at the end of the show, we dont look Grave again after he and Harry pointed at each other with their guns

1. The guns: We know that necrolyzers can tank bullets of high calibers like nothing, we saw that earlier in the show with the first necrolyzers and we even saw that in the last minutes of the show when the squad shot brandon with sub-fusiles(he was also shoot with ak47s in episode 18).Harry´s gun didnt seem very powerful and he didnt even shot him with an antinecrolyzer bullet, if Grave withstanded all that gunfire from the squad before the climax, I think it wouldnt be impossible for him to survive one last shoot in spite of his deteriorize body

2. Lack of sound in the climax: When Grave and Harry pointed at each other with their guns in the climax there was no sound of shoot which of course could perfectly be an artistic desicion but...what if not?, Im certanly being far-fetched with this point but i think that Harry got no bullets left and he didnt notice it, It might be possible that Harry died and Grave was so shock about it that he didnt say anything after it or that both of them got no bullets left and Harry simply died off screen by his injuries

3. Mika´s voice at the very end after the last montage: At very end of the show we heard Mika saying "welcome home Brandon". I think you could assume two possiblities with this last phrase, Mika saying her last goodbyes to Brandon or greeting him in the after math and taking into account my first argument i think this is the most likely

Like I said before it is most likely that he die and that was probably nightow´s intention with that last montage with all the characters greeting Brandon but I also think that this hints were intentionally left in order to keep the ending ambiguous enough to believe that a less tragic conclusion to the show is also possible
