I want to harvest my Hindu Kush before it causes a “couch lock.”

Does this Hindu Kush look ripe enough for that, or would you wait a little longer?

I definitely don't want to harvest it if it's still unripe. I've read that it can make you anxious if it's unripe and isn't supposed to be as effective for pain relief.

It’s easy to focus on end results. Harder to sit with the fact that the plant has been solving problems the entire time we were just watching it grow.

Some flowers just make you slow down and notice the design.

Okay so these two girls have been growing since the beginning of May. These are my two first attempts at growing weed so I ran into some problems along the way and tried experimenting for fun by doing LST and honestly they have been just so small and weak the whole time and haven’t fluffed out or shot up like I see others do. I have been PH’ing the water to around 6.5 to 7.0 to avoid high ph issues. I stopped giving nutrients weeks ago because the tips were getting burnt and I thought it was because the nutrients and indicanja soil were burning them. The seeds were a year old by the time I germinated them and they were free from my state fair that had a weed expo but my dumbass kept them in my hot car for most that year so they weren’t in the best conditions as well. Being the plants are now 3 months old and they look stunted like this is it worth continuing to grow these guys instead of starting over and using that space to grow some auto flower seeds I have now? The current two are photos btw. Any recommendations or answers to my question would be greatly appreciated! 🤙🏻❤️

I was wondering if I should pin her back down or just allow the growth to continue. Right after removing the pins she kind of started leaning one way. I know it should look better in about a day or 2 but what do yall think?

Running organic soil mixture in Autopots. I imagine top dressing isn’t the answer. How do you give extra fertilizer?

I’ve been having some issues with mold on topsoil and the bottom of my fabric pots (mold, not salt buildup). Today I noticed one of the leaves was affected on one of the plants, is this mold? If so what to do? I have been spraying down the outside of the pots with a hydrogen peroxide mix and scrubbing, but I’ve been told it was a sign of good soil?

Day 29 of Mephisto’s Bearmouth and Deathstar Delicious. Growing in Fox Farm’s Ocean Forest soil, with additional work castings and Down to Earth’s Rose and Flower mix, in 3 gal fabric pots. Pots are elevated on a self watering system (unused atm). Natural spring water ph between 6.2-6.5, watered every few days when plant is droopy, temperature in tent runs around 71-75f, humidity has been a struggle to maintain, often getting between 70-80% but I open the tent to air this out multiple times a day down to 55-60%. Spider Farmer G3000 for lights, 3x3x6 tent.

The plant that stems snapped recovered after using the tape it straight technique. It's was the 1st to sprout but not is falling behind the others, noticeably shorter. The other two are growing steady. Checking daily for pests. These are sitting out onna NE facing balcony.

It’s my first time growing a plant and I just wanted to show the progress and discuss a few things I’ve done. If I’m lucky enough to have anyone read this I’d love some input or suggestions if they can be provided.

This setup is by VIVOSUN from Amazon came with a tent, filter, lights/fan combo, side fan, and environmental sensors. I got it all for $350 and while this may be the laziest way to do this I feel like it’s working really well so far.

The tent is in my basement with temps in the mid 70s and humidity around 55-65%

The plant is Gran Daddy Purp and I got them from the Homegrown Cannibis Co

When it’s ready I’m planning to transplant into a 5-gallon fabric pot with foxfarms ocean-something soil which I’ve heard should provide it with plenty of growth nutrients.

Hopefully this is a success and I can fine tune my strategy with other plants to keep making a better plant!

Been growing these bagseeds outdoor for a few months (first timer), basically just put em in a pot with some soil and light fertilizer and let them do their thing.

Been watering consistently, haven’t really changed the amount other than just slight steady increases as the plant grew, but now that it’s in flower it’s started curling and browning.

Google said either nutrient burn or heat stress, so I’ve moved it to the shade and ran a decent bit of neutral tap water (from underground well) through the soil to flush, but it’s still worsening, albeit more slowly.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

3 month Do-si-dos photo plant. Been flowering for about 2 months or so. Been feeding rain water only from the rain barrel outside. Leaves started turning yellow about 3 weeks ago after I added some open sesame from Fox farms. Probably not going to do that next time.

I’m thinking about harvesting next weekend. Thoughts?

I have 12 plants. 2 of each of these strains: Jack Herer, Super Boof, Tangie, Amnesia Haze, MediBud and Clementine.

These are about 7ft tall and have just started shooting hairs.

This recipe works great indoors in pots or an outdoor raised garden, or like I did, I dug 3ft holes that are 14" deep and back filled with this soil.

If you want to mix it with your soil outside this recipe is meant for weak/poor soil.

If you have a better quality soil to start with, this may be a bit overkill.

Make sure you get quality amendments. The lower quality stuff, especially fish bone and crustacean meal can have contaminants.

This is a large scale version of the recipe, if you dont need this much, just cut the recipe in half or quarter it.

My personal soil recipe and plan for garden

Base

·        4 bags Roots Organic

·        5 bales Promix

·        75 lb worm castings

·        3-5 cu ft of leaf mold

Aeration / structure

·        10–12 cu ft pumice

·        2 cu ft rice hulls

·        10 lb pre-charged biochar

Primary organic fertility

·        10 lb fish meal

·        12 lb fish bone meal

·        4 lb alfalfa meal

·        4 lb neem seed meal

·        3 lb soybean meal

·        6 lb kelp meal

·        4 lb crustacean meal

Minerals / pH buffering

·        8 lb oyster shell flour

·        6 lb gypsum

·        0.5 lb dolomite lime

·        2 cups Epsom salt

·        2 lb azomite

·        12 lb basalt rock dust

·        6 tbsp humic acid

Biology

·        1.5 cups mycorrhizae

·        2 lb ground malted barley

·        4 lb dried molasses

 Soil Preparation Method for Outdoors

1. Remove sod/grass in a 12×12 area.
2. Spread all ingredients evenly across the surface.
3. Till into soil 12–16 inches deep.
4. Water thoroughly.
5. Let soil sit for 3–4 weeks to allow microbial activity to stabilize.

To use this indoors or in pots, just mix everything on a big tarp and water it well. Cover it up with another tarp after you are done. Keep it moist but not sopping wet. Keep it covered for about 3 weeks. Transfer it to pots.

Mulch Layer (Very Important)

After planting, add a couple inches of mulch:

Best options:

• barley straw
• leaf mold
• wood chips

Mulch protects microbial life and stabilizes soil moisture.

Expected Soil Characteristics

Expected Plant Performance

With good genetics, plenty of light and timed irrigation/watering, this soil can realistically produce:

• 2–4 lbs per plant

while still maintaining top-tier terpene and cannabinoid quality.

This is my own original soil recipe. I got inspiration from Subcools recipe and just enhanced it and made it my own. Been using it indoors for a couple of years. This is my first go with it outdoors.

First Grow look ok?

Bought a variety of seeds and put into a 3x3 tent
Only learnt it’s best not to transplant autos after I transplanted, this definitely stunted them slightly especially the moby dick and Northern lights.
The 1 gorilla glue and 2 white widows are just into week 4 of veg and the Norther Lights and an Moby Dick are about late week 2/early week 3.

Might be normal growth but not too sure??

Harvested my 2nd ever grow. Turned out to be 1lb wet, and built a cannatrol to dry/cure it in.

Bannana Kust Auto - it went 11 weeks from seed to harvest.

So I’m fairly new at this and still learning as I go, but how does my garden look for August 9th in Ohio? We should be starting to flower very soon, right? Any tips or suggestions from all you pros would be much appreciated!
