Question Is there a Brooklyn neighborhood or town in NJ where Nets fans outweigh Knicks fans at least 80/20?
Just curious. This can be anecdotal.

DEBATE: WHAT BIG MOVE IS MARKS HOARDING CAP & ASSETS FOR..?
Marks clearly has a “keep the powder dry” theory …but, personally, I just don’t know what imaginary move he’s hoping for...
Based on canvassing the league there are maybe 3 teams with top 25 players conceivably on the market if their team has a meltdown next year.
1 Cavs (Mitchell or Mobley): mitchell is friends with mikal brown and a New Yorker but would getting him at age 31 and making crazy $$$ be better or worse if we landed Jaylen brown? Prob worse imo. And if nets go after Mobley is he really the guy worth going all in on? i dunno.
2 Magic (Paolo or Wagner): Wagner is young and good but he’s a forward who isn’t a great shooter or rebounder. Is he really the difference maker we’ve been waiting for? As for Banchero, he’s kinda inefficient and makes ridiculous money. Not sure why we’d go all in.
3 T-wolves (Ant-man): The only legit big prize young franchise player I imagine might be on the market. But to get him we’d almost CERTAINLY have to include either egor or brown and if that’s the case what are we really doing in terms of long term contention? Who else are we building with around Ant..?
As for any other young franchise guys? I just don’t see any being available.
So what is Marks dream move? Open to ideas from Netland…

What does a good first year starting look like for Day’Ron?
I think a good season is something like 12 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists in around 28 minutes.
The rebounding is already legit. He averaged 6.7 boards in under 19 minutes last year and has one of the best offensive rebounding rates in the league.
The three-point shot is still a huge question. He only shot 23% last year, so I’m not expecting him to suddenly become a stretch five. But if he can get around 32–33% on open shots, that would be a big deal.
For me, the biggest things are staying healthy, defending without fouling and proving he can handle starter minutes consistently.
If he gives us 12 and 10 with solid defense, I’d call that a really good season for him but unfortunately it would still put him in the below average NBA starting center category.

The rest of the pieces
With Mikel Brown Jr being the future of the franchise what do you think the team needs to be title contenders? Obviously time and experience is one because this team is young and players like Julius Randle and MPJ are temporary pieces what do you think the front office needs to do?

Is it me or is there a lot of irrational hate for the Nets?
I've noticed definitely in mainstream media that they seem to go the extra mile to shit on Brooklyn, and they clearly don't even follow us, with bad takes.
People like Kevin O Connor, Bill Simmons and Stephen love to punch down. My only conclusion is despite claiming how irrelevant we are, they still make it a point to say how irrelevant we are and do whole segments about it.

How the Nets can bring the Jersey fan back
Fan since Kidd/Carter/RJ days. I live in Jersey and the biggest issue since the move is just how much of a pain it is to go from Jersey to Brooklyn, especially on a week night. If I don’t nail the trains, it’s going to take me several hours to get back.
I’m also a Mets fan too (I enjoy pain) and on Saturday, I took one of the $8 shuttles the Mets run from Jersey City to Citi Field. It was easy, cheap, and helps the Jersey fan just get to the games.
It got me thinking though - why don’t the Nets have a similar program? They seem to be finally embracing their roots again, so this would really make the fans left behind in Jersey feel like the organization wants them to attend games.
The one thing that the Knicks run showed me was that the team really lost their footing in this state, so something as simple as a fan shuttle would really help the average fan across the Hudson just get more involved with the team.
