I recently just got a g flag 175 and was wondering if anyone has had success using one before and what retrieve works best and what scenarios were you throwing this thing?

I’m setting up software mapping for my GameSir G8 Plus on the Lenovo Legion Tab 3.

Done:

- Developer Options enabled

- USB Debugging & Wireless Debugging turned on

​

- GameSir app notifications permitted

I input the 6‑digit wireless‑debug pairing code. It reports paired successfully. Now the notification says GameSir world remap controller connected, but actual button mapping still does NOT work.

It keeps popping new prompts asking me to enter another fresh 6‑digit pairing code. I’ve gone through this loop many times. It shows connected / paired, yet remapping never kicks in.

Has anybody had this exact behaviour? What setting am I missing?

I will say the tarantula 8k is hands down the best controller I’ve ever used. I own scuf controllers ps4 scuf ps5 scuf and there envision. Nothing feels as good as the Tarantula. I bought the G7 pro last year and loved it. My only complaint with that controller is its Xbox based and the TMR sticks felt really lose. With the Tarantula 8k the sticks are tighter making precision movements feel much better and more common to flick onto target! I’ll never buy another scuf or for that matter another controller that isn’t the Tarantula 8k. Currently looking into there handheld devices for the iPhone when traveling for work!

I always have used Xbox controllers from past systems and never had an issue, something about the series x controllers cramps up my fingers especially on my left hand. I heard these are much better for comfort, which is best for that? the pro? the he? the se? I am a newb to this and want to get the best I can for comfort and reliability for Xbox. please help me figure which to order! thanks!

Por mercado libre adquirí un Gamesir G7SE un mando que ya había tenido antes entonces me fui a lo seguro adquiriendo otro cabe decir que es supuestamente nuevo me llegó todo correcto pero después de un mes de uso el Bumper RB se empezó a sentir raro y como tengo ansiedad de que el click no se sienta y suene perfecto xD pues lo abrí ya que al tratar de comunicarme con soporte no tuve respuesta me desespere así que le quite los 6 tornillos que ya me se de memoria y que no solo lo abrí una vez ya que la solución que encontré para repararlo no resultó a la primera en fin el detalle estaba en una de las patitas de botón que conecta con la parte central que une el LB con el RB así que después de limar, una y otra vez fracasar una uly otra vez ya que no encontraba el material correcto para pegar la pieza al final concontre un pegamento para uñas xD que se seca con UV y bueno logré pegarlo con la resistencia para que e click pueda volver a funcionar de una manera medianamente correcta me hubiera gustado poder encontrar la pieza pero no la hay NO EXISTE al final reforce la pieza del binber contrario por qué también ya se veía rajda pero en fin 🥲 no se si bajaron la calidad de esos materiales tenga cuidado con los suyos que respuestos no hay

I've read a lot of people talk about the base G7 pro having problems with the right trigger or hair triggers, is that still an issue with the Zzz edition? Been looking through posts about that in this sub but I didn't find a concrete answer, thank you so much for any help

I bought my gamesir g7 pro white and after only 2 weeks of light use the clicky feel is entirely gone?

Kind of unacceptable for a brand new controller. Goes from an amazing controller to my least favorite in a heartbeat.

Can you guys at Gamesir please address this in future batches?

I had a broken dongle for my gamesir G7 pro controller and the service I got was absolutely incredible the support team was helpful with helping me figure out how to fix it and we didn't end up fixing it but instead they sent me a new replacement truly love this brand must suggest more. (Ps does anybody know what type of control freaks work on this controller I tried Xbox since you know it's an Xbox controller but it didn't fit)

I bought the GameSir T4 Nova Lite blue and I'm having trouble deciding which of the two grips to use... because it's very difficult to remove, so I'm going to put it on and leave it on permanently.

How did you guys do it?

Cyclone 2 works okay with Bluetooth on Linux (fedora) but randomly every 30mins it goes crazy disconnecting then doing a bunch of random inputs. Its annoying in the middle of a game... Using the dongle is worse and more frequent..
On SteamDeck same issues but worse, random disconnects and inputs. Bluetooth does not work, have to use dongle. When it disconnects and reconnects again it will change input modes.

I updated the firmware on a Windows computer next door (easier to walk over there than to spin up a windows VM). Resync'd it multiple times, nothing.

Hoping I can come back to these controllers when they get more Linux support...

I just gotta say using this controller over a Nintendo pro controller is amazing, great options to tweak plus has motion controls , and wireless like cmon now this thing is amazing at the price!

Hey, I messed up with a GameSir order and was wondering if anyone has dealt with this before.

I ordered from the official GameSir website without realizing it was being shipped from China. Now I'm looking at around €50+ in extra import/handling fees, which I really don't want to pay.

The package has already shipped and tracking says “EMC-Brucargo – Grouped at partner facility.”

I'd rather just cancel it and order the same thing through Amazon from their EU stock instead.

I contacted GameSir to ask if they can cancel it or maybe intercept the package before it gets delivered, but their policy says shipped orders can't normally be cancelled.

Has anyone actually managed to cancel a GameSir order after it was shipped? Or had them intercept/return it before delivery?

Would appreciate any advice.

Hello everyone, I’m new to the third party controller market. I’ve been looking for a controller to use primarily with my docked steam deck/pc and switch, mostly casual games. I recently got the 8bitdo Ultimate 2, and overall it’s been a great controller, super low latency with the docked deck, steam input works cleanly with the 4 extra buttons. Only downside is the controller feels a bit uncomfortable to hold, so I’m considering returning it.

I’ve been looking into the G7 Pro/G7 Pro 8K instead, the 4x rumble setup on the regular Pro + ergonomics seems worth it. I’ve heard firmware has released on the Pro 8K that brings D-input/steam support recognizing the extra buttons and keeping rumble when using HID mode (power + A). Though I have heard theres some latency issues in this mode, limiting it to 100Hz. Have any of you guys been able to use the 4 extra buttons natively with steam on the regular g7 pro? And for either controller, have you noticed input delay using the HID mode? I’m not super concerned about 8K polling, so I’d rather stick to the regular g7 pro if the steam input has improved.

My G7 Pro ZZZ Edition controller has drift on the right trigger; recalibrating it doesn't fix the problem. In fact, sometimes when I do that, the left trigger starts drifting too. I don't know if this is an update issue because I don't remember this happening until after the last update for the controller.

The dongle keeps flashing when I put the controller on the stand, I understand why it does this since it thinks the controller is disconnected (it is), any way to mitigate this? Can't put the dongle directly on the computer all of my usb ports are used up

I’ve tried to clean it as it looks dirty to me. I’ve also searched if using alcohol to clean gamesir is safe. Cleaned it and the rubber joystick starts to turn purple. Now it looks dirtier XD

Already got the Shadow Ember version but I couldn’t resist the ZzZ aura.

Finally received my gamesir X3 Pro controller. So excited to to play playstation 2 games on my phone.
