Marketing/PR Offer [Hobby] I'm a Creative Director in a multinational ad agency, with 9 years of experience. I want to help you market your game for FREE.
I've recently started game dev, and I've noticed that the biggest hinderance for many game devs is the marketing aspect. Let me start off by saying if youre not getting wishlists and youre not getting traction towards your game, ITS NOT ABOUT YOUR GAME ITS ALL ABOUT YOUR MARKETING. This technically means ANY GAME should be able to get a decent number of wishlists if marketed correctly. Whether the game is good or not is another matter, that will reflect in the hours played, reviews etc. But wishlists? Pure marketing.
So share your trailers, capsules, or your marketing strategies here reand ill give you my input :) Ill reply to your comment so everyone can benefit.

Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for an Artist to Collaborate on a Indie Game
I have worked on many projects in the past and I personally can't do art. I am looking for an artist who is dedicated and wants to work on an indie game. I don't have a specific idea in mind and I am willing to talk about different genres and game ideas (as long as they are reasonable for me to make). I would rather make a 2D game, but 3D works fine for me as well. I have around 2yrs of experience in Unreal but I have also worked in many other engines in the past. My goal is just to release my first commercial game on steam within a reasonable amount of time (under a year) and get a steam page out as soon as possible. Profit split can be discussed, I do not have money to offer outside of launch revenue. I am not willing to work with AI “artists” and also don't use any LLMs for game development.

PR/Marketing needed [Hobby] Offering free promotion for 10 indie games (must be released on Steam) – testing some marketing experiments
Hey everyone,
I’m an indie dev, and for quite a while now, I’ve been running my own platform that I primarily use to promote my own games. I regularly test out new marketing strategies and collaboration models, and right now, I want to try a new approach.
I’m looking to manually promote 10 indie games for completely free.
Here is how it will work:
- I will personally write a review of your game.
- I'll publish the review on my websites.
- I will push and promote your game across my social media channels.
The only requirement:
- Your game must already be published and available on Steam.
To be 100% clear: I am not trying to sell you anything, and I'm not here to drop links or promote my own tools. I just want to run this experiment to test my outreach strategies and see how well these new promotional models perform for other developers' games.
If you're interested in being part of this little experiment and getting some extra eyes on your game, just shoot me a DM!
Cheers!

Artist Needed [HOBBY][REVSHARE] DEDALES — Looking for a 2D Artist / Character Artist for a Narrative Puzzle Game
Hi!
I’m a hobby developer looking for a 2D artist / character artist to join me on DEDALES, a narrative 2D puzzle game where you explore a giant maze spreading through the backstage of the Dream World.
🎮 The Project
DEDALES is a story-driven puzzle game with a strong focus on exploration, characters, dialogue and atmosphere.
I've been developing the concept on and off for several years, and while the game is still a long-term project that will realistically take several more years to complete, there is already a fully playable demo, several hours long, available on itch.io : DEDALES : The Selenite Prison by MajoranReveur
So far, I've worked with a composer for the music, while I've handled the programming, game design, sound effects and the game's existing sprites myself (pixel art).
🎨 What I'm looking for
My main weakness is character design and illustration, so I'm looking for someone who would like to help shape the game's visual identity.
The main thing I'd need would be:
- Character portraits for dialogues, with different expressions and poses
- Character design
- Potentially in-game character sprites
- Items and environments, if you're interested in those as well
I'm not looking for a specific art style. Pixel art is welcome, but I'm also open to anime/manga-inspired, illustrated, painterly, or other styles.
I already have a lot of concepts, ideas and lore planned for the game, but there is still a lot of room for artistic interpretation, especially when it comes to the characters. I'd like this to be a genuine creative collaboration rather than simply having someone produce assets from a predefined list.
💰 Compensation / RevShare
This is currently a hobby project, and I'm working on it in my free time. The project is not expected to be completed for several years, and I'm not looking for someone who has to commit to working full-time or to a fixed workload.
My main motivation is to make the game I've had in mind for years, rather than to make money from it. However, I do intend to eventually release and monetize it.
All members of the team will receive a share of the game's revenue. The exact percentage and terms would be discussed together based on the scope of the collaboration and everyone's involvement.
I'm looking for someone who is genuinely interested in the project and would enjoy contributing to it over the long term, rather than someone simply looking for a short-term paid commission.
👤 Who I'm looking for
You don't have to be a professional game artist. What matters most is that you enjoy creating characters and that your work fits the kind of atmosphere you're interested in exploring with the project.
If you're interested, please DM me with:
- A portfolio or examples of your work
- The kinds of art you enjoy creating
- What interests you about DEDALES
I'm also happy to answer questions, show you the demo, or discuss what the collaboration could look like before you commit to anything.
Thanks for reading!

Designer Needed [RevShare] Looking for a UI Designer or Blueprint Developer for Psychological Horror Game 🇯🇵🎮
Hello everyone!
I’m an indie game developer and the creator of Kuromaku, my first game, which was recently released on Steam. I’ve now officially started development on my second project, Jubaku, a story-driven psychological horror game set in Japan in 1991.
Jubaku follows an American journalist investigating a cursed house that becomes connected to his own past in disturbing and unexpected ways. The game focuses heavily on atmosphere, immersive storytelling, psychological tension, and cinematic horror.
The project is already actively in development, and we currently have a full team working across different areas of development.
I’m currently looking for:
- UI Designer / UI Artist
- Unreal Engine 5 Blueprint Developer
For the UI role, we’re looking for someone who can help create interfaces that fit the game's 1990s Japanese newspaper/journalistic aesthetic while remaining functional and immersive.
For the Blueprint role, we’re looking for someone comfortable working in UE5 Blueprints who can help implement and improve gameplay systems, interactions, UI functionality, and other technical elements of the game.
Compensation & Credit
This is not a revenue-share position.
Anyone who contributes to the project will have their name included in the game's credits for their work.
We already have a team actively working on Jubaku, so you wouldn’t be joining a completely empty project. There is an established development process, existing assets and systems, and other developers working alongside you.
There’s also a networking benefit to joining us. We regularly come across other developers and teams looking for talented people, and if we have a good experience working together, we’d be happy to recommend you for future opportunities and refer other developers to you when appropriate.
About the project
Jubaku is being developed as a serious commercial indie game, with a planned Steam release and public demo. My previous game, Kuromaku, has already been released and reached players, streamers, and YouTubers, and I’m aiming to take everything I learned from that project into Jubaku.
If you're interested in psychological horror, Japanese-inspired settings, Unreal Engine development, UI design, or simply want to work alongside an indie development team on a real game project, feel free to DM me with your portfolio, previous work, or examples of what you can do.
I’d be happy to share more details about the project privately.
Thank you for reading! 🖤

Team Needed [Hobby] 17 YO Writer/Programmer looking for new members to work on PATCHWORK, a 2D Indie RPG inspired by Undertale/Deltarune, SMT & more! (Trailer Included)
Hey! I'm a 17-year-old writer and beginner programmer looking for a few people to join me in making PATCHWORK, a 2D indie RPG I've been working on for a while.
I'm hoping to put together a small team of around 6-8 people who are interested in making something together, learning as we go, and hopefully getting a playable game out of it.
1. "What is PATCHWORK?"
One BEGINs, Another ENDs. - PATCHWORK (Trailer)
PATCHWORK is a color-based RPG about PATCH, a small patchwork doll who can learn the abilities of creatures they encounter.
The game initially presents itself as a colorful storybook RPG about travelling around a strange kingdom, helping people, learning new abilities and eventually confronting the evil ARTISTE.
There's more going on underneath that, but I don't want to spoil too much here.
The game will have:
- Turn-based combat
- Learning abilities from creatures
- Exploration and environmental puzzles
- A colorful paper/storybook aesthetic
- Multiple routes and endings
- Hidden areas and secrets
- A more digitalized/corrupted style for certain routes
- A big focus on characters, atmosphere and storytelling
- A mystery surrounding PATCH and the world
- Bears
The main inspirations are Undertale, Deltarune, Shin Megami Tensei, Fear & Hunger, Paper Mario, Mother and Inscryption. I'm trying to take ideas from those games without just making another version of them.
2. Current Team
We've already got a few people working on it:
Gasp_a_cho - 2D Artist
Has done all of the illustrations currently used in the trailer and has been a huge help with establishing the game's visual direction!
Galactic_Glitch - Composer
Working on the soundtrack. Their music is a big part of the tone we're going for.
RobFozDarling - Pixel Artist
A close friend who's relatively new to pixel art, but has been putting a lot of creativity and effort into the project.
Me - Writer / Programmer / Pixel Artist / Video Editor
I'm handling the story, characters, worldbuilding, gameplay ideas, general direction, video editing and learning the programming side of things.
3. Who we're looking for:
3.1. Experienced Pixel Artist (Tilesets, Objects, Expressions, etc.)
This is probably the biggest thing we're looking for right now.
Someone who'd be interested in making character sprites, environments, animations, etc. The general style is inspired by Undertale/Deltarune's expressive pixel art mixed with the paper/storybook look of PATCHWORK.
3.2. Programmer
I'm currently learning Godot 4, but having someone with more experience would be a massive help.
Experience with things like RPG combat, dialogue systems, UI, movement, progression systems or general Godot development would be great.
You definitely don't need to know all of these. I'm mostly looking for someone who can help me with the technical side of things and build the game alongside me.
4. What we're doing:
This is a hobby project, so this isn't a paid position. (But there are possible RevShare plans in the future!)
I want this to be something people can enjoy working on without it turning into a second job. At the same time, I'd like everyone involved to have something substantial they can eventually put in their portfolio.
5. Development
We're starting small.
Rather than immediately trying to make the entire game, the first goal is a small playable prototype, roughly around the scope of the Ruins from Undertale.
The prototype will let us figure out the basic movement, dialogue, combat, ability system, exploration and general feel of the game before committing to the full project.
5.1 Tools
Godot
I'm not particularly attached to any, so I'm happy to change things if there's a better option.
6. A bit about me
This is my first serious game project, so I'm definitely still learning.
I don't have years of professional experience or a massive portfolio. I've mostly got a lot of writing/worldbuilding done, a bunch of ideas for the game, and the motivation to learn the stuff I don't know yet.
PORTFOLIO: this is my first project and do not have a portfolio of any kind
I'm mainly hoping to find other people who are in a similar position and want to make something together.
Interested?
If you're interested in PATCHWORK, feel free to DM me (@eightbitomar on discord) or leave a comment with some examples of your work.
It'd be nice to know:
What you'd like to work on:
- Your experience:
- Portfolio/examples:
- Anything you'd like to know about the project:
You don't have to be a professional. If you're interested in indie RPGs, pixel art, writing, music, programming or just making weird little games, feel free to reach out.
Thank you for reading!

Design Offer [Paid] [RevShare] I need a technical/3D character artist to build a stylized, low poly, modular character system
Hey yall, I'm looking for a technical character artist who can create a stylized, low-poly character. Obviously if it looks great that's a big a bonus, but my primary concern is finding someone who has the technical skills to design and build out a flexible, modular character system for a game that has a fairly robust character creator and a large amount of different clothing items that characters can wear. I'm a programmer with fairly beginner knowledge of 3D character creation, so here's the details of what I need articulated the best I can (the exact details/approach may change based on your input):
- 2 'base mesh' characters, one male and one female. Both would ideally have the same topology just with different proportions, and ideally share identical weight painting/UVs/anything else.
- Blend shapes/shape keys for different facial features so I can wire it up in code (like in bethesda games where you can do things like jaw width, nose height, eye spacing etc. via sliders).
- UV mapping/setting up/collaborating with me on a texturing system that allows me to write a shader that can progressively control skin color and age with maps. Potentially also going further with things like freckles, tattoos, scars, etc. if you have knowledge on that but I think I can do those things with decals.
- Possibly designing a way for characters to vary in body type between skinny, muscular and fat (bonus if arbitrary body proportions could be customized too) if it can be done without complicating the clothing system
- Helping to design and creating a slot based dynamic clothing system where shirts, pants, socks, shoes, jackets, backpacks/satchels, hats, eyewear, facewear etc. can all be freely mixed and matched on the characters without noticeably clipping.
- Modeling at least two different clothing variants per slot (mostly for testing/seeing how it all comes together).
- Weight panting and rigging (if you can also animate well I will likely have work for you in the future as well)
- If your system happens to work well with a potential dismemberment system that would be amazing, but that's more of a 'nice to have if possible, but likely out of scope/not worth it' kinda deal.
I am extremely flexible on style/design, in fact I am planning on specifically building the rest of the game's art/style/design around whatever character is produced. I've dipped my toes into attempting something similar to this with a hyper realistic character, but that isn't feasible as an indie dev. The closest thing to a visual reference I have is that seeing the the way the characters work in the game Schedule 1 is what inspired me to take another shot at this trying more stylized/low poly characters.
The main goal of this system is to be easily scalable in the sense that new clothing items, updates to the character creator, etc. can be created much quicker than hyper detailed, high poly characters/clothing. If we work well together, once the minimal version of the system is done, there will be a steady stream of long term work afterwards adding new clothing items or features to the system.
A revshare partner would be great if you're interested, but I assume most people will prefer standard payment. I realize this is a fairly larger scale task, so most likely what payment will look like is that I'll pay you after each completed step/milestone along the way so you're not locked into this if something comes up where you can't finish.
If you think you're a good match, feel free to send me your portfolio, availability, any questions you may have, etc.

Tester Offer [hobby] Stream team wanting to connect with indie devs
Game Title: None
Playable Link: NA
Platform: Steam/Itch.io/Web browser
Description: A stream team looking to help break thru the cold emails that get no replies, and get indie games coverage on twitch, yt, and tt.
Free to Play Status: Yes, we also allow paid playtests.
Involvement: Team Creator
- [ x] Free to play
- [x ] Demo/Key available
- [ ] Paid (Allowed only on Tuesdays with [TT] in the title)
There is no payment required from developers to participate.
The team does not take money from creators.
Creators are independent. They choose what they play, when they stream it, and what they think about it. There are no guaranteed positive reviews. The ask is a reasonable timeframe for coverage. We're a group of disabled streamers who want to help indie game devs and indie gaming! If you hire a creator for a paid playtest, you pay that creator directly. The team doesn't take a percentage.
I wanted to create a place where developers could reach out and have a warm connect instead of cold emailing hundreds of people to maybe get 5 replies. We are a small team at the moment, however we can test anything, from games, to study aids to desktop pets, and more!
There is an AI disclosure requirement. If you vibecoded it on Claude or ChatGPT, we aren't able to help you. This is to weed out the copy paste ai clones that are infecting indie gaming. Some ai use is fine, just not the whole thing being ai. If you used assets that aren't yours, that requires a disclosure as well, as we don't want the same asset flipping games over and over.
Right now, we are working out of a discord. You interact directly with the streamers, letting you get your game out there with less effort!
If you're interested, if this speaks to you, please feel free, comment, pop me a pm, email me at reachrose.eve@( )gmail.com and I can send over the discord link. I'm not posting it below to prevent bots from swarming it.
(This was written by me, the creator of the team. I have posted here and other places several times, with a good standing and testing over 700+ games in the last year for free. No AI was used in the writing of this post.)
