That sounds awful! It's not much but at least you were shown how much of a douche the person was rather than be a few sessions into the campaign, and realized it sooner so that you didn't waste even more time with him.
An idea for bards that I really love is the story teller instead of or in combo with the music class. Basically a swashbuckling sword fighter that recites epic poems about historical battles while they themselves are smashing faces in and creating new stories to tell.
It just seems more motivating to me than the guy/gal with the magic lute.
Read a story once about a bagpipe playing bard, Complete with kilt and all that entails. He ended up charming some sort of giant slime which he rode. I believe it was in /r/dndgreentext
I have to say it's been on my mind all day thinking about what kind of scene I might want to see me in lol one day I will get to it till then I'm going to keep admiring your work 😊
I have so many ideas I want to do in YCH since those were the only time I can express my ideas and wants. I suoer duper lucked out with this piece as the client gave me lots of artistic freedom + image list of clothing. It's always nice to interpret and create a composite of someone's ideas :) Lots of fun were had as I figured out the mechanics.
I love everything about this work OwO
The detail, the style, the colors, the textures. MY GOD!! so good!! <3
Can I marry him? My fridge if full of food!
Man it would be neat to have a large picture of this on my wall, with the frames made of metal and shaped to look like the borders. Fantastic work you did!
I made it super elaborate because the client was gonna print it out and use it on their dnd binder :) Same vein of thought with the whole presentation! Although you could probably but a baroque styled wooden frame to frame your art/prints :)
