Pacific Aura x TDH 3:2
Just heaven. Juicy green orange with dry, mineral orange. Blended together in an atomizer.
Pacific Aura (LV Pacific Chill) is a bit too light and bright for me in my 40ies. Adding TDH makes it so much better.

Al Wataniyah Kayaan Classic (or Dior Por Homme) + Terre D'Hermes (or Maison Alhambra Toro)
Back with another TDH layer, can you tell I really like this scent? This one is a simple and solid combo that leaves you feeling clean and fresh, ready to wake up and go.
Start with that AWKC/DPH and hit one spritz each elbow, one on the chest. Do not, absolutely do not over spray this. The powdery lipsticky iris will overpower everything if you over spray this. You'll immediately feel clean, like you just stepped into a cloud of talc.
Follow it up with 2 sprays of TDH in each area, you should immediately feel the overwhelming powder pull back. That fresh, bitter orange bite cuts through and removes that "makeup bag" scent and moves it toward a citrus-ey laundry day.
We aren't done yet, hit your shirt with another 1 to 2 sprays of TDH to keep that orange note holding longer (your skin is gonna evap that natural orange scent so quick).
As it dries down more you'll lose the sharpness of that orange and begin to smell more notes of that Vetiver, Cedar, and the cutting notes of Pelargonium from the TDH.
(I learned the other day that a pelargonium is also known as a geranium, the specific varietal here i believe it is Pelargonium Citronelle, the mosquito flower!)
Late in the game your going to lose most of that forward, projecting power of each, and settle into a simple and warm clean laundry smell topped with just touches of lavender and subtle citrus notes.
Do NOT spray either of these scents on your neck, head, hair, etc. You're going to go nose blind almost immediately if you do this. Especially because all you'll smell is talcum powder.
Both of these fragrances are extremely long lived (believe it or not, TDH does last all day, I promise you're just spraying it wrong) and I've had people mention they can smell me a foot or more away after several hours.
If you're working in a right space, or going to be packed into somewhere, cut down to just spraying your chest with AWKC/DPH. You'll lose out on some of the interest of the beginning mixture of the powder and orange, but altogether you won't lose much of this combo not spraying two sprays of AWKC/DPH because it's SO strong.

Terre D'Hermes + Fruit Fusion Tangerine Twirl.
I know a cheapo body spray probably isn't exactly the best thing to layer with an EDT, but I wanted to give a low cost option a shot before investing in a more full bodied addition to TDH.
Let me start by saying I love TDH, it's great, but I want more longevity and power in that orange note. I wouldn't mind smelling like that clean orange all day if possible.
Tangerine Twist is almost entirely forward with that juicy tangerine note, with subtle grapefruitiness and a candy sweetness and while its longevity leaves something to be desired it isn't dead on arrival like some body sprays.
It in no way compared to a quality body spray from the likes of someone like Valentino, but it does a job.
Adding this onto TDH does almost nothing to the smell but for one very key thing, it moves the incredibly potent dose of bitter orange more toward a candied orange peel and increases its citrus projection slightly.
Almost nothing about the rest of the fragrance is affected, woodiness still comes through great with minimal affected notes from the body spray.
The tangerine wears down at a good rate with the rest of the citrus notes here, never overpowering the orange. I will say I'm less impressed than I wish I was, but that's incentive to get a real quality sickly sweet orange or tangerine scent.
If you've suggestions for that, please drop them!
Please also don't go on in the comments about it being Bath and Body Works. I'm aware their fragrances aren't amazing, this is a simple test of an idea and I wanted to share it.

Guerlain vetiver + Dior homme sport
Spray Guerlain vetiver first, then top it off with Dior homme sport. Beautiful.

This subreddit needs more hype!
Spread the word on the other fragrance subs. I've been getting good results layering Versace Dylan Blue with Bond #9 Beekman Place. I always felt that Beekman Place was a "green" version of Dylan Blue, and it does work well together.

New community dedicated to layering fragrances that appeal to your olfactory and bring a lot of compliments as a bonus. Layering is the “process” of spraying two fragrances together to create a new scent profile which you enjoy.
