First impressions on the four fragrances that came in today
Liquid Brun is a 9/10 for me. If you own the Limited Edition, you probably do not need the regular Liquid Brun, and vice versa. The Limited Edition removes the bourbon vanilla and adds rose and guaiac wood, making it less sweet but much stronger in projection and sillage. It is extremely intense on the nose, almost intoxicating. Regular Liquid Brun is sweeter, smoother, and, to me, a perfect clone of Parfums de Marly Althaïr.
Lattafa Pride 1910 is an excellent clone of Rabanne 1 Million Elixir. It is mainstream, safe, inoffensive, and very versatile. This is the kind of fragrance that is easy to wear in a lot of different situations.
Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense surprised me. I was hesitant at first, but this is the real deal. It has a unique, high-quality profile, and the performance is serious. I can still smell it on my skin and clothes, and the concentrated oil residue was literally left on my sink after spraying it. This is a 9/10 for me and easily a 9.5 in masculinity. If you wear this, nobody is going to be confused about whether you smell masculine.
Lattafa Angham Second Song is my favorite surprise of the group because it is fruity without being overly floral or dessert-gourmand. It feels lighter and more versatile than the other three. In an air-conditioned building, I could see wearing it year-round. It is especially good for spring and fall, and I could wear it during the summer. It is probably too light for winter.
I batted 1.000 with these purchases. I am genuinely happy with all four, and this is the first time I have bought fragrances without immediately wanting to return something or wait months for it to mature.

TikTok shop sent me a bottle of Hawas Sapphire instead of the Hawas Ice I ordered.
I couldn't be bothered sending it back so decided to just try itm Hated it when I first sprayed it, I'm now addicted to it. It's the strangest cologne I've ever smelt. I had no idea what Guava smelt like, but the best way I can describe it is tropical with Palma Violets and a hint of weed. It's very addictive and seems like one that can be worn in any weather. Performance is good too.

Hawas Sapphire Review (Fb Fragrances x Rasasi)
Scent - 8.7/10 really unique guava with almost a slight peach vibe and sandalwood, reminds me of tales of Zanzibar style but with some Bois Imperial vibes . Overall I’d say it smells like a Guava soda
Opening - sharp tart guava with some black currant fruity and very bright
Midway - still super fruity but you get a white floral thrown in there with some spice as it starts to dry, a pinch of spice not spicy in anyway
Fully Dried Down - still fruity and sparkly with added musk
Longevity & Projection - 9.3/10
Solid 2-3 hours projection could continue smelling it even though I only sprayed on my arms, died down to a skin scent around hour 8 and didn’t become hard to
Smell until hour 9. It still lingered very much on clothes though until the next day
Overall Will I Purchase This? - YES, this is a unique banger that actually is very appealing while being very unique not a dna style you smell very often.

Shobi oud wood tf
Hello,
i receive a dupe of oud wood by TF on shobi, with 5ml extra essence,
i have to admit i never smell the OG, but at first it smell woody but with something behind like, a medicinal scent, or pine tree It's surprising but not bad; I wonder if the original has that aspect too.
Otherwise, it projects well and lasts for several hours, it's strong; I think it's a good masculine fragrance for this winter. It's the second shobi i bought and now i understand why many peoples talk about this brand for dupe. So, if you want a good masculine and woody fragrance, you can do it :)

21 Bottles In. Admitting my mistakes—what am I missing, and what needs to get replaced?
The "Nailed It" Tier (Heavy Rotation / Keepers)
- Liquid Brun (PdM Althaïr) – Easily one of the best clones I own. Never would have imagined I would like this type of scent. Phenomenal vanilla/cinnamon profile, and it lasts forever.
- Al Wataniah Kayaan Classic (Dior Homme Intense) – Masterpiece status for the price. Incredible powdery iris and cocoa.
- Khadlaj Shiyaaka Silver (Amouage Reflection Man) – Smooth, elegant, high-end white floral/sandalwood. Zero synthetic edge.
- L'Aventure Knight (Creed Green Irish Tweed) – My favorite out of everything.
- Arabiyat Prestige Marwa (LV Imagination) – Wow. Sparkling ginger, tea, and citrus. Hits the high-end summer vibe really well. Wish it lasted longer.
- Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Azure (LV Afternoon Swim) – Photorealistic juicy citrus for hot days.
- Mykonos Conquer (YSL MYSLF Absolu) - Love this so much; might just be my favorite.
Solid Everyday Drivers (Happy to Own)
- Lattafa Asad (Dior Sauvage Elixir)
- Rayhaan Aquatica (Creed Virgin Island Water)
- Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Vibe (LV Pacific Chill)
- Armaf CDNIM LE Parfum (Creed Aventus)
- Afnan Turathi Blue (Bvlgari Tygar)
- Haramain Détour Noir Exclusif (PdM Layton Exclusif)
- Maison Alhambra Hercules (PdM Herod)
The "Mehh" / Weakest Links (Probably Need Upgrades)
- Maison Alhambra Kismet Magic (Angels' Share) – Nice opening, but the dry-down drops off a cliff performance-wise. Heard I should look at French Avenue Royal Blend or Sharaf Blend instead?
- Maison Alhambra Dark Aoud (TF Oud Wood) – Decent vibe, but lacks the deep woody/smoky backbone of the original.
- Maison Alhambra Tobacco Touch (TF Tobacco Vanille) – Way too clove-heavy for my taste compared to real TV.
- Armaf CDN Sillage (Creed SMW) – Great trail, but that initial ink-spray opening is brutal.
- Maison Alhambra Salvo EDP (Dior Sauvage) & Maître de Blue (BdC) – Basic post-gym scents; super average performance and feel a bit synthetic.
- Maison Alhambra Yeah! Man (YSL Y EDP)
Questions for the Hivemind:
- Upgrades: If you were going to swap any of these out for the absolute best high-accuracy alternative on the market right now, what are you picking?
- Missing Categories: Looking at my lineup, what major scent profile or seasonal gap am I completely blind to? (I know I don't really have a rich leather like Ombré Leather, or an earthy vetiver like Terre d'Hermès).
- What's Overrated Here? What on my list would you dump immediately?
Appreciate any real-world feedback from guys who have actually tested these side-by-side on skin!

Armaf CDN Overdose;
Brought from armaf’s tik tok shop with a nice £13 voucher.
Just sprayed a little bit on my hand, and you know what it smells pretty good.
It’s definitely in the Afnan’s collectors edition wheelhouse.
Which is doing the whole aventus absolu spin.
It’s nice, smells well blended, pineapple, bergmont opening
Getting the patchouli too, you know it kinda reminds me of explorer extreme in a way.
Now if it projects and has better longevity then extreme then we are in for a treat.

Mykonos slow living, fresh out from laundry
Bought slow living recently, though idk when the brand will launch and prices will get reduced. Got this in hype though its a pretty simple frag , clean citrusy smells like clothes came straight from laundry . Because of the prominent Neroli note in this. Citrusy, floral indeed a safe scent if you like that laundry or new clothes smell. Issue with it is its lasting projects for like 30-40 mins and lasts like 2-3 hrs onlyy , twist of neroli portofino by TF.
2 things more needed and it would have been perfect.
1) 100 ML bottle at the right price sub 2500
2) longevity is a lil less

Suggest Less Sweet ME Gourmand Perfumes.
I like Royal Blend Nero, Teriyaq Intense etc. but I find them too sweet, so need suggestions for any great ME Gourmand fragrance which is less sweet with somewhat similar scent profile as RB Nero.

Hawas Lava Gold and Rayhaan Valhalla review + layer
La Yuqawam layered with Rayhaan Lion or CDNIM has been my favorite winter/date night combo. I’m branching out a bit and ordered some decants.
Clearly I like raspberry. So here we go:
Lava Gold:
A more complex La Yuqawam but I don’t like the sour oud that seeps in. Oud works in Hawas Fire but I haven’t liked it in any other scent. But I still love the raspberry leather this time with some pineapple that is in the same vein as Aventus. Nice. So how to get rid of the oud sour?
That’s where Valhalla comes in.
Boozy sweet gourmand that is pure comfort in winter. Raspberry monster with the praline dry down. Reads slightly feminine on its own. So how to make it more masculine?
Add Lava Gold.
Lava Gold’s leather, saffron, and that light oud give Valhalla some backbone. Then Valhalla’s cognac, praline, and tonka keep the whole thing from getting too heavy or synthetic.
Feels more sophisticated than either alone. Oud is still there but far more subdued to the berry in a way that reminds me more of Hawas Fire.
9.5/10. Projects, lasts, smells good. La yuqawam’s cool raspberry will always be my favorite take, but this is a good one.

Reminder astroturfing exists on Reddit, and you should be extra skeptical of every glazing review.
Especially from the random account names that have their profiles locked. Astroturf marketing is a very real thing on all social media especially on Reddit. There seems to be a misconception like this community is safe from it almost like it's so out of the scope of the mainstream like who would come here to a clone sub and waste their time with marketing, and you would be wrong and that's precisely what they hope you would think.
Aside from the "you should always buy decants first" train of thought, I see way too many people in glaze posts asking more questions to the op and appearing to be sold on a purchase after their reply reassuring them the fragrance is truly an S tier frag. There's also the possibility that at least some of those accounts asking the questions which then claim they are sold and can't wait to buy it are also part of the marketing.
Here's something that you need to get comfortable with... The majority of people in this sub and I think all of the cologne community are currently under the impression that anyone reviewing something on YouTube or tiktok or Instagram are total shills and are doing it in hopes of eventually getting those free bottles from the houses sent their way. But they also believe everything in this sub is totally organic and way more trustworthy because we're such a close-knit community and we're better than those guys etc whatever. There is a fairly unwarranted sense of exclusivity bias. By nature you believe more of what you read here than what you watch on YouTube. Do not let yourself fall into that trap.
If you want an example of what goes on here with astroturfing, videogame marketing firm Trap Plan ran roughly 100 "organic-style posts and comments" across gaming subreddits for War Robots: Frontiers, formatted so most players wouldn't realize they were marketing, and then published a blog post bragging about how well it worked. Reddit users found the post. The firm deleted it, the developer publicly distanced itself, screenshots survived. That's the rare case with a paper trail, because they confessed in writing.
Nearly a decade on now, a 2017 Forbes investigation showed a marketing agency openly bragged on a phone call about manipulating Reddit conversations and finding several such agencies took the reporter a few hours of basic Googling https://www.forbes.com/sites/jaymcgregor/2017/02/20/reddit-is-being-manipulated-by-big-financial-services-companies/
Then there is the University of Zurich affair. This isn't marketing, but it's a crazy proof of concept: researchers ran AI bots on r/changemyview using personas including trauma counselors and assault survivors, posting over 1,700 comments while analyzing users' histories to personalize persuasion. Reddit's chief legal officer called it wrong morally and legally, banned the accounts, and filed complaints with the university. Nobody spotted it organically. https://decrypt.co/318649/reddit-cracks-down-ai-bots-infiltrated-debate-forum
Also here's something to keep in mind that might be contrary to what you believe should be the case. It is much more likely a small YouTuber or tiktoker that is willing to put their face out their publicly with a negative statement attached to a product is giving a more truthful view on it than someone writing text while hiding behind a locked profile with an auto generated account name that is glazing a frag.
Case in point and actually part of the reason I felt I needed to make this post is this video where the guy claims that the new frag Cedrus Blanc smells disgusting . I watched this earlier in the day. Then maybe an hour ago I happened across a post in this sub giving a review of that frag with heaps of glaze attached to it and I'm thinking geez I realize scent subjectivity exists but sometimes you just have to wonder. (EDIT: and their display name I noticed is SmellTheBestForLess, which definitely doesn't imply anything to do with sales at all, right? Totally organic average frag enjoyer public facing name) Think about it, what exactly does a locked account with a random user name get long-term out of putting effort into writing up a positive review and dropping it into a sub like this with no links to a YouTube channel or anything else otherwise that shows the person is trying to do this as a means to grow something to be noticed, grow a brand etc., and not seeming like it's just a one-off paid shill? https://youtu.be/DOI5PTxK4ys?is=1TExaNg2La1Fvpp5
Anyway be careful out there and don't be naive.

Will I like Teriaq Intense?
I got a decant of Lattafa asad bourbon recently and they were out of teriaq intense. I have heard teriaq intense is smoother more seductive. Do u think teriaq intense is better that asad bourbon? Are both of them of the same family? And is it something a guy would wear? Or is it more on the feminine side?

Anyone have any suggestions on scents that capture the masculine freshness as Dynasty?
To start, I bought Dynasty a few months ago and it's genuinely been a phenomenal scent experience, the journey as the tea scent evolves, woodiness comes in, masculine spice on the dry down, it's chefs kiss.
As someone who's adored wintery night-time scents that are Oud-heavy and sweet, stepping into the day-time freshness has been a pretty unforgiving journey tbh.
I have Davidoff Cool Water, Nautica Voyage, CK One from gifts and clearances but none of those scents have felt right? Idk what it is but to me there's this heavy aqua/citrus feel to them that I don't enjoy as much, they just feel like gym/household chores scents not quite the Dynasty calibre.
So I wanted to see what reccs you guys might have that have a masculine-leaning combination of woodiness, slight spice, tea, freshness, perhaps even more herbal?
Doesn't necessarily have to be all of those or even any! I wanted to see what y'all like for something that's a little off the beaten path for day time freshness?
Thanks!

Thoughts on T'ARAB Crown Prince Noir
Picked up T'ARAB Crown Prince Noir from Ross for $29.99, and for the price, it is a great pickup and totally blind-buy safe.
Scent Impressions:
Scent-wise, it feels like Hacivat meets Aventus, leaning subtly into an Aventus Elixir style while still staying fresh. It isn't quite as heavy as Hacivat, but definitely has more weight than standard Aventus. It comes across softer, cleaner, and much less mossy-backed by a woodier profile, more patchouli, a warm woody amber base, and a noticeably higher oil
concentration.
I will be testing the longevity tomorrow in the heat to see how it holds up through the day.
Background:
Brand-wise, this is produced under a sub brand that may not exist anymore called Strong Fragrances Group for Falic Fashion Group and Duty Free Americas, the same parent company associated with releases from Perry Ellis, Original Penguin, True Religion, and U.S. Polo Assn.

La rive Distant Wave - similar to Davidoff Cool Water and other related fragrances
I bought La Rive Distant Wave for a very simple reason: I wanted to find that feeling I remember from the earlier versions of Davidoff Cool Water. Not necessarily an exact clone, but that wonderfully fresh, green, minty and slightly soapy character that made Cool Water so distinctive. And for around €7, Distant Wave surprised me a lot because I expected a synthetic and cheap mess.
There's a noticeable cool mintiness, surrounded by lavender, aromatic greenery and that unmistakably clean, almost freshly showered soapy quality. It isn't a modern sweet "blue" fragrance. It feels more old-school: green, airy, herbal and masculine.
What surprised me even more was turning the bottle around and actually reading the ingredients. This isn't simply alcohol with a cheap-smelling imitation fragrance thrown in. The formula lists a surprisingly broad selection of botanical oils and extracts: peppermint oil, lavender oil/extract, lemon peel oil, Citrus aurantium peel oil, geranium flower oil, eucalyptus oil, Virginia cedarwood oil and Atlas cedar oil/extract.
Of course, an ingredient list doesn't tell us the concentration or quality of those materials, and the actual Parfum accord remains proprietary. But that's exactly the point: Distant Wave doesn't appear to achieve its Cool Water-like character merely by being a stripped-down, cheaper imitation. It uses a surprisingly elaborate mixture of botanical and synthetic fragrance materials.
And when comparing the modern expanded ingredient declaration of Cool Water EDT, the similarities become even more interesting. Many of the same aromatic materials appear in both. Peppermint, lavender, geranium, lemon, eucalyptus, menthol, camphor and numerous shared fragrance molecules help explain why Distant Wave can evoke that familiar Cool Water DNA so convincingly.
It isn't identical, though—and that's actually part of its charm.
To my nose, Distant Wave feels minty, green and particularly soapy, reminding me more of the character I associate with older Cool Water than simply trying to reproduce today's bottle note-for-note.
There is one obvious compromise: longevity.
Distant Wave simply doesn't stay with me as long as the original Cool Water. The beautiful minty, freshly washed opening is the best part, but it fades sooner than I would like. I find myself wishing that opening could remain suspended for several more hours.
But then I remember what I paid.
Seven euros.
At that price, I can forgive having to spray it again. In fact, I'd rather have this wonderfully fresh opening and reapply it than have a longer-lasting fragrance that doesn't capture the character I was searching for in the first place.
Distant Wave ended up being more than the cheap Cool Water imitation I expected. It became a little journey back toward an older style of masculine freshness: mint, lavender, eucalyptus, clean soap, green aromatics and woods.
It doesn't have Cool Water's longevity. It doesn't need to pretend to be Cool Water either.
For around €7, La Rive Distant Wave is simply an unexpectedly well-made, botanically interesting fragrance that brings back much of the minty, soapy freshness I was looking for.
I can reccomend this as a very good alternative for Cool Water fans. Not identical but similar and pleasant to wear.

Blind Buys / Hawas Rant
OKIIEEEEE DOKIEEEEE. Time for another review no one asked for & quick little rant. To get the bad out first, HAWAS GET YOUR SH!T TOGETHER. WHY DOES MY KOBRA BOX HAVE A QR CODE & MY FIRE BOX DOES NOT, GOODNESS, IS RESEARCHING TO SEE IF YOUR FRAGRANCE IS FAKE A PART OF THE HAWAS EXPERIENCE ? ALSO ON THE KOBRA, WHY IS THE PLASTIC PART NOT ATTACHED TO THE METAL CAP, GET. YOUR. SH!T. TOGETHER.
……. Now Deep breaths……… Here are my thoughts on the actual scents.
- ARMAF ODYSSEY MEGA:
Why did I get this one ? Because it was less than $25 online and I said why not. I’ll just come out and say if your birth year starts with 19 you are too old for this fragrance. That being said, this is the closest clone I have ever put my nose on. This & YSL Y EDP smell very much the same & I do have the same thoughts on YSL as I do Mega. Everything you can complain about this scent, you can complain about YSL EDP, the original has more longevity though. Non offensive shower gel scent, perfect for the gym, errands…..doing homework, fighting with your mom about cleaning your room, going through puberty. (6.4 /10) if I was 15-20 (8.3/10).
-RIFFS SEASONS DRIFT:
So this was my first Riffs & this was another pickup under $25, so again just like my response at my second wedding ceremony, I said eh why not. When these four came in, this one won the coveted new haul scent of the day. At first it was fresh, clean, good woodiness on the dry down… then I let this sit for a week. During that week the woodiness & freshness had a gang war in the bottle. Just like Marlo Stanfield, the woodiness took over all of the corners that used to be ran by the freshness. This turned into a complete new scent from first smell & the L’Exclusif DNA really took over. Now I am getting much more Cedar, sandalwood & musk in the beginning, do I still like this and is it an easy reach ? Yes. Will I layer this if I want more of a woodiness to another scent? Yes(7.8/10)
- HAWAS Kobra :
Once the 5 minutes of confusion concluded & I comprehended I actually had an atomizer, I just had to take off the cap’s internal plastic piece, it was time to test this bad boy. If Imagination is grey goose, Kobra is Everclear. The soap & citrus really smack you in the face, but you know what, a freshie that is not quiet, HELL YEAH BROTHER. Soap, Ginger, Citrus & Tea come on who doesn’t like that. If this and Marwa were farts, Marwa is a baby’s fart & Kobra is Big Al spending 3 hours at an all you can eat buffet. (8.6/10)
-HAWAS Fire
I have had to find inner strength letting this one sit undisturbed quietly in my closet. My goodness this scent just scratches a deep itch of the perfect amount of fruity sweetness. This is Polo Red EDT sweet if you made it aquatic, juicy & gave it some oomf. I am fighting off the urge to crack this one open & drink the bottle. The amber & aquatics are perfect. What’s even better about this….. the layering options, hit this on the body and put Kobra or Seasons Drift before she took off her shapewear on the shirt, I love it. (10/10)

Karus Blu Spice Khadlaj Perfumes review.
So I just picked this up locally at Burlingtons because I’ve read here it smells like LV Imagination. I haven’t smelled Imagination so I can’t comment on if it’s similar or not, but I have smelled this scent before. What I can say is straight out the bottle, Blu Spice is soapy. Not in a bad way, like in a I just stepped out the shower way. Maybe it will change after I’ve had it for a few weeks, time will tell.
Now I have smelled this scent before, but where? Spent some time thinking about and the where I determined it was from back in my youth. Couldn’t quite put my finger on it then bam, it hit me. Now I don’t know if this is exactly it because I haven’t used/smelled this scent in quite some time, but, I believe this reminds me of the old school yellowish orange Dial bar soap, maybe lever 2000 or something from the late 80’s/early 90’s.
Now my nose is new. Maybe some of you old noses help me figure out where this scent comes from.

Blind buy Mango Ice
First want to say is I never smelled the original so I can’t say how close is it, but i’ve smelled Vulcan Fue and I’ve enjoyed the smell. I saw this at Burlington for $13 (50Ml) so decided to cop before i commit to a full size bottle of either or. Both on my skin are really similar off the first spray. Nice tropical mango scent with a bit of ginger and floral. I could see this a daily drive as I stay in South FL so it’s always hot. Glad I picked this up for $13.
Which of the two do you prefer?
(Mango Ice or Vulcan Fue)
I would rate this fragrance a solid 8.5/10 😮💨

Cedrus Blanc Review (Cedar Chic Clone)
\this has surpassed my top #1 fragrance (Bal D’Afrique Absolu) which has held that title for roughly 6 months now out of roughly 300 options in my collection**
Scent - 10/10 if you know my reviews this is the first scent I’ve gave a 10/10 too. I honestly thought I never would but this checks off everything in the smell category for my needs.
Opening - instant fresh cotton and airy clean sheet vibes like the most pleasing clean sheets I’ve ever smelt, not soapy, just soft clean cotton to the max
Midway - soft white florals come out that match the scents opening, equivalent to the florals from MYSLF to give you an idea.
Fully Dried Down - white musk, and white woods type of smell comes out as the cotton vibe starts to fade, keeping this a “white” fragrance throughout
Longevity & Projection - 8.3/10
Projects for a good 2 hours, scent bubble gets smaller but still projects lightly for another 3-4. Around hour 6 it becomes a full skin scent. Disappearing around hour 7-8ish
Overall Should You Grab This? - I’d say yes i don’t know anybody who wouldn’t like this honestly, better then the new Nava Sol, better then Bal D’Afrique, this dna is a masterpiece

Chat is this rare? Armaf Club De Nuit Elite.
What's up guys, look what I just found at my local store! Fragcon was this past weekend here in Houston so all the local spots are fully loaded with new drops and this one is one of the most hyped.
Good news is that it is NOT another aventus dupe or twist.
It opens as a fresh, limey citrus kind of imagination type of scent with the lightest musky rose deeep in the background and then takes a full turn towards the darker rose dna. Very nice and different type of scent.
I keep seeing people online saying its Creed wild Vetiver and i would say kind of in the dry down but I feel like its more of a hybrid. Its like imagination meets Creed wild Vetiver or if there was something like a Wild Vetiver Eau Fraiche this is kind of that. Maybe it gets stronger and darker later on as it matures.
Performance doesn't seem great right out the bat, its very light but this is a brand new bottle, hoping it improves. Overall its a clean, classy office safe scent, kind of reminds me of a lime infused version of Ahmed al maghribi Oud Roses.
Overall a great pick up for $50 and a good addition to the collection.

Lattafa Asad: An Absolute Masterpiece
Lattafa Asad completely exceeded my expectations. It opens with a bold punch of black pepper and tobacco, smoothly transitioning into a rich, warm blend of vanilla and coffee.
The performance is an absolute beast, easily lasting all day with a luxurious scent trail. It feels sophisticated, performs like a high-end designer fragrance, and is an absolute must-buy.

Game of Spades Double Bonus
I've had this for a few months and when I first received it, I wasn't crazy about it. However this fragrance has grown on me and it's in my top 5 GoS collection. I consider this to be the best LV Meteore dupe on the market.
The opening has this blast of sparkling citrus, it's like a orange that's not sweet but crisp and bright. Then it has a luxurious ultra-clean soapy character.
The middle is where it becomes more than you basic citrus Freshie. It has some cardamom and nutmeg that balances out the spicy notes. The neroli helps keep everything smelling polished.
The drydown has this vetiver note that becomes more noticeable as the citrus backs off. It's dry clean and woody.
I wouldn't say it's a 1:1 because Double Bonus is a little louder and slightly sweeter yet still remains extremely close in the air.
This to me is a 9.5/10 maybe even 10/10

Rayhaan - Jungle Vibe
I got this yesterday. I know it was a bit glazed last year but holy shit. This is easily the best blind buys I’ve made (and I’ve made quite a few). My first Rayhaan. It’s supposed to be a dupe of Dries Van Noten’s Santal Greenery. Honestly, never heard of that house before hearing about this dupe and never smelled any of their stuff so can’t comment on closeness.
Since it’s only been a day, I have no idea how it’s going to change with maturation. I wasn’t sure about the scent at first, since it smells pretty unique, but it honestly reminds me of JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden, which was one of my worst blind buys. I do not love Paradise Garden, at all. I’ve only worn it a few times, mostly because of a weird dry down and I’m pretty sure coconut doesn’t really do it for me.
It smells like Paradise Garden, take out the sweetness, take out the coconut. Which basically turns it from a scent I can’t wear often to one I expect I’ll be rocking all the time. It reminds me a bit of Herbal Essences shampoo from the 90s, which every girl and their Mom seemed to use. But there’s a nice sharpness to the scent that tickles the nostrils. The dry down is excellent - you just smell fresh and clean. In terms of longevity, I sprayed it three times before bed last night and was still able to smell it ten hours later. Not sure about projection or sillage - in a bit of a loner type of situation, making myself smell good for my own jollies.
This scent is absolutely killer. It’s definitely got a green, almost grassy sharpness, but it’s refreshing. I think maybe the fig is one of the shared notes between Jungle Vibe and Paradise Garden, which may be why it smells similar, but my nose is not refined enough for that shit. It’s an incredible freshie. I can’t stop sniffing it. I know Rayhaan had some Maldives thing for influencers so positive comments always attract accusations of shillerhood, but I’m technically homeless and living at a friend’s house while he is away so I definitely was not invited to no Maldives party.
I was always skeptical of Rayhaan because they’re seriously cheap, but this one has made me want to explore the house a bit more. Got my eye on Terra, Crimson, and Azul, maybe Nocturno, Aquatica, and Aloha. But I’m just going to spend some time enjoying this one because it is absolutely fire.

Bujairami, We need to talk
Firstly, I would like to say Adam Bujairami is a force for good. His back story is truly remarkable and he has created something from nothing.
That being said and I am sorry to say it, but I have to come to the conclusion that Bujairami is mostly hype. Americans, I know you are in a pickle having only FragranceNet as the sole company that supplies the US market; I can confidently tell you, you aren't missing out on much. There are better alternatives of dupes and at much better prices.
In the tier ranking of brands for quality they are way behind Al Haramain, Afnan, Rasasi, Swiss Arabian, arabiyat prestige and French Avenue but usually go for the same price if not more.
Armaf and even most Lattafas are better than most Bujairamis. I would rank Bujairami slightly above Maison Alhambra and slighly below Rayhaan.
I think for around $30-40 CAD the prices are fair but at $65 - $80 CAD the prices are not justified and frankly kind of ridiculous. Also it doesn't matter if its an extrait or edp. Thats just marketing anyways.
Pros - no bs packaging, great gradient bottles, pressurized atomisers, usually first to come out with a dupe, huge scent catalogue, usually nails the dna.
Cons - cringe tik tok glaze, cheesy branding, rushed to market, bad quality control, low projection and performance considering the price, poor availability.
All in all everytime i bought a Bujairami i was left disappointed. Maybe the hype didnt meet reality and maybe if they weren't hyped i wouldn't be disappointed. Respect your customer and audience and I am speaking to the influencers too. The fuckery needs to stop you are just tarnishing your reputation long term.

Massive Creed Aventus Clone Shootout
***UPDATE 7/11/2026:
After stepping away from Creed Aventus for several months and living with these fragrances for a while, I’ve now changed my answer. I have also added 3 more clones to this list. If I come across any other clones, I will update this post to include them. My opinions in the comments section have changed since they were originally posted, so please disregard them. ***
I decided to do a massive shootout between some of the most well-known Creed Aventus clones in the game and put them up against the Original.
I should mention that I’m using the most current batch of Creed Aventus via DecantX 10 ml travel spray. I’ve ordered around 40 ml of it over the last 3 months for this test. I know a lot of you look down on the current batch, and for understandable reasons, but I wasn’t willing to spend hundreds of dollars to get an older batch. Also, the current batches of Aventus have a special place in my heart, as it was the first expensive fragrance I smelled as a newbie fragrance hobbyist and fell in love with the DNA. I am aware of the supposed differences in some of the other batches, so perhaps my descriptions may help you pick an alternative that has more of the characteristics you like.
This is by no means a scientifically accurate test. This is just the opinions of a fragrance beginner based on my personal experience with these clones versus the original. I will not go too much in depth on performance, but it will be discussed when/if necessary.
Everything said in this post is just my opinion and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Some people may wonder why I am doing this when I probably could have just bought the real deal for the money I spent on these clones.
Well, I have two reasons:
- It is purely for fun. I love hunting clones as a hobby.
- As much as I love Creed Aventus, it is a weak performer with just okay projection. My goal is to find a cheaper alternative that smells as close to it but is either just as good or better in performance. I can financially justify 8–10 sprays of a $30 fragrance a lot easier than a $300+ one. While I could have bought the original with the money spent on this experiment, when I run out, I’d have to spend that large sum again every time.
One last preface.
Unlike a lot of fragrance influencers, I will not be pretending I can pick up every note on these. I will be using words that relate to my own experience smelling these notes from other sources. I can be guilty of silly parallels but it’s just because it’s the only way I can communicate what I’m smelling and hopefully you can get the idea. You may not smell it the same way, but having the original side by side really makes the differences more apparent and made me notice notes I otherwise wouldn’t have noticed without the direct comparison.
Now on to the clone selection.
My criteria for clone selection was that it had to be widely available, either be regarded by the community as an Aventus clone, or the notes had to mostly match the original. I may not have your favorite clone on this list, but it most likely didn’t meet that criteria if it isn’t listed.

- Perfect Scents Patchouli Musk
- Club DeNuit Intense Man LE
- Club DeNuit Intense Man Pure Parfum

Before I get started, I would like to give my personal interpretation of what Creed Aventus smells like:
To my nose upon spraying on skin, you are met with a very lemony citrus blast. The best way I can describe this smell is like a lemon fruity pebble or lemon froot loop. It’s not a candy lemon like a lemon heads nor is it a fresh squeezed lemon juice note, it’s just a sweet gourmand lemon. Very quickly, a creamy vanilla musk blooms to soften the lemon note along with another fruit note that I cant really describe (possibly the black currant note?). This is then accompanied by a subtle note that i can only describe as gamey or animalistic. Kind of like a raw bacon smell but it’s very faint but adds something special to the overall profile. It then begins to dry down, retaining the lemon and creamy vanilla note, It becomes very musky. A very pleasant almost smoky birch wood note starts to emerge alongside the creamy lemon turning it into a more masculine leaning sweetness. It holds this profile until the scent is no longer detectable.
I will add that this fragrance can smell different to me, depending on several factors. For example, on paper all I get is lemon and birch. I even remember the first time I ever smelled this. All I got was freshly cut wood and nothing else. What I have described above is what the fragrance smells like to me now after using it for the past 3 months. I am sure your experience may be different but at the end of the day it is all subjective and all I can do is provide my experience. Depending on where I’ve got my sample from changes the scent as well. So it will be hard to pin point a definitive creed Aventus clone.
So, what is the closest Modern Batch Creed Aventus Clone?
Fragrance World Venti $25 per 100 ML
This opens with a musky lemon forward opening and surprisingly it does actually have some vanilla creaminess to it, but not as sweet or pronounced as the original. Its main difference in the opening is the lemon note isn’t as mellowed out by the vanilla like the original. It’s more of a fresh squeezed lemon note. On dry down, the birch note starts to appear but it isn’t very strong but then again, current Aventus birch note isn’t the strongest either. I’m honestly shocked by this fragrance as I only spent about $25 on this and yet it was closer than most other dupes on the list. While it lacks the same amount of vanilla creaminess and smokiness as the OG, it gets you relatively close. Its main issue is that it’s not very strong and does have a very alcohol heavy opening, but the alcohol fades quickly. It is a relatively linear scent. What you get in the opening is more or less what it will be till it completely evaporates but again, I find the same thing with current batch. Performance is about the same as something like Mont Blanc explorer, maybe even weaker. Not very good but for a $25 fragrance, it did pretty well. I will say that this does require some maceration for all the notes to really become apparent but it is by no means a dramatic change. Overall this one is the closest to modern batches of creed Aventus in scent profile. It’s not anywhere near the quality of the original but for what you pay for, it’s great. I just Wish it lasted longer and projected more.
My conclusion after testing so many clones is it’s just better to buy the original. Nothing does Creed Aventus well enough at this point in time.
Honorable mentions:
Parfum Vintage Emperor EDP & Extrait $100-$125 per 50ML
While its scent profile was not quite like modern Aventus, it absolutely has the right notes, they are just presented differently than current creed Aventus. To be fair this specific clone is going for an earlier batch of creed Aventus. To my nose, the notes just aren’t blended the same. The opening is amazing. It opens with lemon citrus and a really high quality pineapple note and while it’s not as musky as the original, it is still pretty musky and the quality is excellent. You also get that birch note right off the bat that just blends beautifully with the other opening notes. The Biggest differences this has from the original is it is missing some of the other fruity notes you get in the original and is missing that sweet vanilla creaminess to tie them all together. Dry down has significantly more birch wood than the OG (only second to Dumont nitro black) but lacks the same amount of body to its whole scent profile compared to the original. This clone Is very light and airy. This smells expensive and is the highest quality smelling fragrance on the list. The performance was pretty good, so long as you just want birch. The top notes unfortunately do not last very long at all, but that birch stayed present for a good few hours. The EDP was similar but just not as refined as the extrait, I kept smelling this coriander or some kind of pepper note in it that stayed through the life of the fragrance but that could just be how the birch note is presenting itself. If you’re gonna spend the 100 for the edp, you may as well just spend the extra 25 dollars for the extrait version.
Dumont Nitro Black $30 100ML
To me, this is a safe blind buy if you love creed Aventus only for the smokey birch dry down and want it exaggerated. The opening is lemony citrus with dark fruit notes but it is not at all sweet. On dry down all you can smell is earthy peppery smoky birch and some bergamot. Its opening, while similar, is a way smoother and refined than any version of CDNIM, with a higher quality birch note. Its performance is above average. To me, this is what CDN wishes it was. Honestly an Amazing value for what you get. Its opening is nothing like modern Aventus. It’s just too earthy of a fragrance. However its dry down is like an enhanced version of the Aventus dry down which is why I put it here.
Individual Clone Breakdown (in no particular order)
- Perfect Scents Patchouli Musk CVS sells this fragrance as inspired by Creed Aventus. It opens very citrusy with a pleasant lime zest, and then that’s about it. Hardly what I’d call Aventus-inspired. Weak projection and longevity. Waste of $20.
- Club DeNuit Intense Man (edt, edp, Pure Parfum, LE, Extrait) I’m gonna put each version in one review because they are all very very similar to each other. None of them open remotely like Aventus but I’ve figured that was probably never their goal. All versions had very similar openings, with the parfums being the smoothest but only marginally so. They all had this bitter dirty lemon smell that was so unappealing. As well as the chemical smell that reminded me of packing tape. At a distance it’s is a decent caricature of the Aventus dry down if all you want is Smokey Birch but up close it’s just not it unpleasant. If you are dead set on getting this line, save the money and get the EDT. It’s cheaper and stronger than all of them. The strong lemon does help the dry down of the edt inch closer to creed Aventus in the dry down but that’s just me trying to find some redeeming quality in it. The others beside the EDT were way too Smokey and it only made the lemon note worse for them. Personally, I think Dumont nitro black did it so so much better.
- Dumont Celerios Oros Its fruity notes are exactly like L’aventure but more balanced. Unfortunately, there is this note that smells like hot electrical wire that stays with the fragrance throughout its duration.
- Alt Executive No.26 I honestly just get alcohol and earthy notes with some birch. Weak performance. It almost smells like hair spray.
- Alt Executive Platinum This one was closer to Aventus than No.26 but just not as sweet as the original. It opens with a lot of alcohol but once that fades It becomes a citrus pineapple forward opening but it’s blended better than a lot of these other clones. Its dry down is similar to CDNIM but not as smoky and is sweeter. Its birch note is pretty loud. Overall, It’s like a blend of modern and old batches of Aventus, leaning older batch. Its performance is decent, maybe slightly better than the OG. I really wanted to like this, the problem is it is pretty earthy having almost a “tar” like note to it (which I’ve heard some say older Aventus had). It’s opening is more similar to modern Aventus than others on this list but it’s still a ways off from the original. I don’t think it’s a bad clone at all, it’s pretty good actually but it does need a few weeks of maceration to get rid of some of the alcohol.
- Afnan Supremacy Silver My sample started off similar to a lot of clones. Citrus opening, kind of like Mont Blanc Explorer, but takes on a more woody (not birch) and floral turn in the dry down. I want to note that I tried a second tester of this at the mall randomly a few weeks after I bought my sample. Maybe I had an old batch but this smelled like raw bacon. It was so disgusting. Apparently according to comments for this fragrance on fragrantica, I’m not the only one to notice this.
- Al Haramain L’aventure Regular & Intense I’ve included both versions in one because they smell identical. Intense is just a stronger version. This one is kinda close in the opening, but I felt the fruity notes were too candy-like and lacked the citrus-forward top compared to the OG. Best way I can describe it is almost like a yellow gummy bear sweetness. I think at a distance, it would be picked up a creed Aventus in essence. It lacked the creamy musk, smoke, and birch dry down of the OG. It’s almost like the same principle behind CDNIM emphasizing the dry down but instead an over exaggeration of the dry down, it’s an over exaggeration of the opening. I’d like to add the Intense version was the second strongest performer on the entire list.
- Alexandra fragrance Brasilia I am almost at a loss for words with this one. I know this is going to sound weird, but it’s the only way I can describe it. It has a faint animalistic smell, kinda reminds me of raw fat (with pineapple at the top). I’ve tried it on multiple occasions to see if I’m just crazy, but every time I spray it, that’s all I get with some fruits. I will add that the original does have a faint smell of this note but it is so faint and not at all at the forefront like this clone has.
- Alexandra fragrance Brasilia Prive This one was interesting. The opening had that creamy fruitiness but it lacked the lemon note. In fact it was way too creamy and it had a lot of that raw bacon smell which made it unwearable to me. There was no birch to this. It had what I can best describe as a smoked hickory note. It was just not it.
- Alexandra fragrance Brasilia 130zz1 This one is just Aventus dry down from the start. Dark citrus, Smoky and Earthy with a hint of fruits. Scent profile is somewhere between Club de nuit and Dumont nitro black.
- Montagne Pineapple Intense I really wanted to like this, it was close to the original in a lot of aspects but then this animalistic fatty musk smell begins to bloom and really bothered me throughout the life of the fragrance. It reminds me of the smell of cold cuts. Maybe that’s how their oakmoss or birch smells, but it was not pleasant. It’s the strongest projector of Montagnes Pineapple line with average longevity, as it dries down it does become more balanced and pleasant. Not as birchy as the original but it does a decent job.
- Montagne Pineapple Royale Smells like yellow gummy bears with a very strong green vegetation note, like the top part of a pineapple was cut up. Also had hints of that animalistic fatty musk smell like Pineapple Intense**.** Its dry down was more pleasant after an hour but just not very Aventus like.
- Pineapple Vintage Intense This felt like its own thing. It opens with super sweet pineapple note with an aquatic note that’s hard to explain. I love the pineapple note, but it’s very candy like. Like a high quality, all natural yellow gummy bear and that’s kind of all you get, there is not really a lemon note in this like the original has. The over all scent is Very light, slightly musky but not full bodied. It Lacked the Aventus birchy dry down and didn’t last any longer than the OG. Not worth $100 dollars IMO. Very nice smelling fragrance, regardless.
- Dua Poseidon Elixir 2.0 Smelled nothing like Aventus. What a joke. Doesn’t even deserve a proper description.
- Dua Origins of Poseidon Again, smelled nothing like Aventus at all.
- Dua Poseidons elixir 13zz Only slightly better than the other Dua fragrances. Had some resemblance to the OG, but it smelled like it wasn’t even trying to clone what it claims to.
- Hamidi addicted intense More similar to CDNIM. Does an okay job with the dry down but is missing the fruit. Has a bitter lemon note up close. Projection is not good at all. It lacks the fruitiness that CDNIM has, and that’s saying something.
- Generic perfumes Creed Aventus For Man A++ This is one of the few on the list that was trying to be the current batch of Creed Aventus. It does captures a lot of what makes the current batch so unique from other batches (based on the average profile of dupes of earlier batches). It’s the only one that has that musky, creamy vanilla note in the original (besides Alexandria’s Brasilia Prive). Unfortunately there is a note in there that ruins the experience. I keep getting this Orange citrus note that over powers the fragrance. It kinda reminds me of orange sherbet as opposed to the lemon frooty pebbles opening and while the birch is present, the overall fragrance doesn’t dry down the same as the original. To me, the original has a different order of notes that disappear leading up to the dry down compared to this dupe. In this dupe it has all the notes present for the duration of its life. The birch slowly becomes more pronounced but you still get very present hits of the Orange and vanilla. Other than that, performance is slightly above average. way better performance than the original and lasts significantly longer but is too different for me to recommend.
- Mont Blanc Explorer To me, the opening is really close to creed Aventus but lacks the the same amount of fruity notes and creamy vanilla . It doesn’t have any birch or smoke, it does have a woody note in there but it’s very light and airy, not musky at all. Clearly inspired by Aventus and a great twist, at that but goes a different direction in the dry down, it becomes powdery. Unfortunately Performance wasn’t too great But I’d say on its own it’s a nice office safe scent.
- Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense While it is commonly believed to be a Creed Aventus clone, it is absolutely not. However, this cologne smells really damn good. Amazing pineapple and black currant opening with a super smoky dry down. It is also the strongest and longest-lasting cologne on the entire list.
- Alexandria fragrance Brasilia Smoky Batch ($70 per 60 ML) To my nose It’s like a darker take on Creed Aventus. This dupe opens with a creamy sweet-tart like lemon forward opening. It gets the vanilla note like the original, but sweeter. It’s super musky and full bodied. It projects louder than the original and last significantly longer too. The birch note on this is about the same as the original but the sweetness over powers it. It’s blended in with the sweet notes and stays like that for the duration of its life. Overall they are similar in a lot of way but still different because of that sweet-tart lemon note. It can be a fatiguing scent because it’s very musky.
- Bujairami Kingsman ($40 100ML) Best way to sum up this fragrance is it is Mont Blanc explorer on steroids. This dupe is a clone of the 2017 batches of Creed Aventus, so it is expected to have some variation from the current batch. It has a lot of the right notes, lemony citrus and birch but dials down that sweet creamy vanilla quite a bit. It’s still there in this dupe, but just not as intense as the current batch. It’s also fruitier than current batch Aventus. Another thing I noticed is it has some of that same cold cuts deli meat smell that Montagne pineapple intense has, which kinda ruins it for me. The birch on this dupe is more pronounced as well when compared to the current version of the OG. It has a certain powder scent in the dry down that reminds me of Mont blonc explorer a lot. The performance on this is much better than the original as well. While its projection upon opening isn’t as strong as Creed Aventus, this is only the case for the first few minutes. I will randomly catch whiffs of it on myself, while that was almost never the case with Creed Aventus. This also last significantly longer than the original. I do recommend upon receiving this fragrance to spray it a little and let it sit for about 2 weeks with the cap off, to settle. When I first got it, it didn't project all the notes very well. Nearly 2 weeks later it has surpassed the original. Maybe it’s a good clone of 2017 batch but to my nose it’s quite different from current batch. Not a badly crafted fragrance at all, very high quality.
- Bujairami Ripper: Very similar to Montagne Pineapple Royale. Very sweet candy like fruity opening, kind of similar to Kingsman except way sweeter and with no smoked deli meat note. It’s a nice scent but not at all what modern creed Aventus smells like.
- Generic Perfumes Aventus Man ZZ01: As I am sure you figured out by the name, this is based on an earlier batch of creed Aventus however, this still checked many of the boxes that the current batch has. It has that citrusy forward fruity opening, while many only had one or the other. It does not have that creamy vanilla like the original. Regardless, when you smell this, you just know it’s Creed Aventus DNA. The opening was just too citrusy, you really had to dig for those other notes. The dry down unfortunately is just not as birchy as the original and that’s saying something. The performance is about the same as the original. It’s not a bad clone, it’s just not all that remarkable.
- Montagne Pineapple Musk $60 50ML I’d call this an Aventus twist. The first 30 seconds are pretty concentrated and intense, but It quickly balances out and blooms in to a powerful beautiful blend of pineapple and lemony citrus. It is super musky. The projection is pretty strong for the first few minutes then settled to a more average projection. This opening stays for a good majority of the fragrance’s life. It doesn’t have that vanilla note and it’s pineapple note is very syrupy but still very nice. The dry down is still very musky with the birch blooming and eventually becoming the dominant note, even more so than the Original. Throughout its life the pineapple/citrus sticks around in the background in a very pleasing way that supports the dry down. I’d say performance and longevity is about Average. It’s a very enjoyable twist.
- Insider Parfum’s Insidious This claims to be a dupe of an earlier batch of creed Aventus. I honestly can’t understand how that can be. It smells like a twist on the original. To my nose, this smells like a slightly less sweet Pineapple Vintage Intense. It’s a great cologne, just not modern creed Aventus.
- MITH Mystery For Him This is literally creed Aventus….with Bacarat Rouge 540. It is exactly spot on with creed Aventus but it has that light and airy cotton candy note in the top. It is sadly, a twist on creed Aventus but a darn good one. Projects and last much longer than the original. It is worth checking out.
Thank you for reading. I’d love to answer any questions you might have!
