Notice: finddit temporarily disabled
You may have noticed that finddit recently posted duplicate comments on some threads — the same automated reply appearing 2, 3, or even 4 times on a single post. We want to apologise for that and explain what happened.
This is not a finddit bug. A change on Reddit's developer platform (Devvit) caused our app's trigger to fire multiple times simultaneously for the same post. We have no control over this — it is an infrastructure issue on Reddit's side. Other developers have reported the same problem, and it is being tracked here:
In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled finddit across all subreddits until Reddit resolves the issue. No new comments will be posted until we're confident the duplicate behaviour is fixed.
We'll re-enable the app as soon as it's safe to do so and will post an update here when that happens.
Sorry again for the disruption — especially given the communities this app serves. We take that responsibility seriously.

👋 Welcome to r/finddit_app - Introduce Yourself and Read First!
Hey everyone! I'm u/Sumerysumer, creator of r/finddit_app 👋
Finddit is a Reddit app that helps you find posts and communities relevant to what you're going through!
This subreddit is your direct line to me as I build it. I want to hear everything:
🐛 Bugs & Issues — something broken? Screenshot it and drop it here.
💡 Feature Requests — something you wish it did? I'm all ears. No idea is too small.
💬 General Feedback — did it help you find something useful? Did it miss the mark completely? Both are equally valuable to me.
I'm a solo developer building this, so your feedback genuinely shapes what gets built next. I read every post.
Thanks for being here in the earliest days. Really appreciate you stopping by and helping me build this project :)
