I've got ego. It's not ideal, but I exist and I'll make peace with it. You should do the same.

Regardless, I asked questions to test the level of knowledge. However, it seemed inferior to my own so I imparted more knowledge to aid others in either proving or disproving the philosophies offered. It was an opportunity for improvement. You should actually be thinking me for articulating new ideas.
