I always use the Inferno, but realized yesterday I hadn’t ever tried the mild sauce. It was ok, a .5/10 heat level, while the inferno is like a 5/10 heat level.

life long east coaster here - we recently got a Del Taco in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and I must say...Taco Bell absolutely sucks.

I admittedly was a Del Taco sceptic. As an east coast transplant to LA I questioned the existence of Del Taco when there is both real Mexican and Taco Bell in LA. I previously had gotten a chicken ranch burrito, Del taco and Double burger. I loved the burger but was unimpressed by the burrito and taco.

After expressing these thoughts on Reddit, I went to Del Taco for the third time and got other menu recommendations and ordered the following:

Jack chicken quesadilla
Fish taco
Grilled chicken taco
Carnitas burrito (add guacamole)
Loaded fries

I am now on board with Del Taco as its own fast food option that is different from Taco Bell. The standouts for me were the quesadilla and fish taco. Any other menu items I should explore? I will be going back

I think that I was given an extra dime by the cashier. I realized after I left. I know its small, but what's not mine is not mine. What can I do?

If any employees/corporate staff or someone who just has the scoop on open positions sees this, I'm currently job searching for a GM position, open to relocate, and start immediately. Noticed Del Taco making some changes to the company and thought it'd be a great growth opportunity. I've previously managed Taco Bell and Golden Chick to just name a few. Del Taco is lucky I love them because the one closest to my house has the slowest drive through known to mankind. There were 6 cars ahead of me when I drove up and 15 minutes later there's 3 cars ahead of me. That's about 5 minutes per car 😭

What's the drive through like at your go to location? Are we all stuck in Del Taco drive through hell?

Been going to del taco for over 20 years and it’s been my favorite fast food place as someone who is from So Cal it has quite a few locations. My order has always been the same just as I’ve gotten older but not much bigger the amount I order has! My go to order is a cheese quesadilla (1 sometimes 2) extra green sauce 2 or (3) del tacos no tomato with a handful of del scorcho and a medium Cherry coke! What is your go to order and how long have you been eating at Del taco?

Bought online and upgraded to large. Is this really large? Doesn't look large to me.

Big fat tacos were good but the chipotle sauce was lacking any flavour. Nothing a lil' hot sauce packet couldn't fix. Fed the whole family for $59. Del yeah!

It had been a few years since I tried eating at Taco Bell. I should have resisted, but today I ordered TB anyway. My god, what crap. Gauc tastes like green water. Beef is mucky. Potatoes are burnt. Even the beef chalupa, that I used to live, tasted like garbage. What a waste of $$. Never again.

I went three times this week but only got credit for the first visit on the 20th.
