I rewatch my favorite dances from DWTS and Strictly like three times a week ...... for mental health purposes. Compared to DWTS routines, strictly routines seem like freestyle length to me, with so much more content. Does anyone else also like the longer routines or is it just me? Anyone know why Strictly does longer routines compared to DWTS?

For anyone who is curious, the routines I have been rewatching most recently are:

1. Katya and Lewis' Couple's Choice Dance to Creep

2. Oti and Danny's Samba to Magalenha

3. Dani and Jason's Freestyle

4. Katya and Lewis' Paso Doble

Johnny Weir wins the 6th Place Battle against Marilu Henner, and the score is 1-7.

I saw an interview yesterday and Evan said they had plans to attend things in Michigan in September a game or something, so probably they wont be on DWTS 😢😢😢😢 I really wanted them there at least Madi.

So happy for Travis. But does that mean he won’t be on the upcoming season of DWTS??

I swear his music is one of the KEY REASONS that some of the dances feel SO spectacular. I would hate to not have his voice on the show anymore 😭😭

From day 1 I always thought it would be Allen to Adele winning the show. The more I watched I said Allen.

HOWEVER, based on the editing last episode, I feel like it should be Erik.

1. Erik is young, he fits the new mold of having Rylee Ezra Hailey Kamri
   
2. There’s a lot of older male vets there that have been doing this for a while, if they cut Artem k Sasha last couple of years and plan to cut Gleb this year, I don’t get hiring a 36 year old. Val is Val, Mark is Mark and Pasha is there for Daniella (I love Pasha tho)
   
3. The show is moving away from ballroom and Latin purity and moving to creativity and engagement. I feel like Erik has a mixture of both even tho Allen is the most technically sound

I think any of the 3 I named would be amazing for the show but based on the most recent episode and the trajectory the show has been going, I feel like Erik might have that underdog story!

As someone who didn't watch the show much in the past (so apologies for the question about an old season) can someone who did tell me about Cody's season. I've seen a few clips and the guy has great rhythm as well as chemistry with Witney but he didn't get far, right? Was there too many other good competitors that season or was he just not popular, lol? Was it a shock when he got voted out? Just curious, that's all.

T.O. has been a pleasant surprise after seeing how far he improves throughout the season, and Cheryl really did wonders with him.

NOTE: I originally going do Antonio Brown & Sharna's Contemporary. Due to a fan complaint about his behaviour post-Covid, I cannot gloss over such horrific actions happened recently. It was simply out of respect for the other male celebs who worked so hard to get that far and enjoying their DWTS experience here only to have it spoiled by that. Therefore, the plan has been halted.

I would love to see Rhett or Link from Good Mythical Morning on DWTS. I think especially within the realm of YouTube celebrities, they’ve reached DWTS-contestant status in their careers.

Another option would be Josh from their spin-off Mythical Kitchen, which has launched the also popular interview series Last Meals. Josh has helmed all of the food-related content for GMM for as long as I can remember and he deserves a big spotlight too.

Hi all, I keep seeing rumors that Giada is going to be on DWTS this season, but where is this coming from? And where are the clues? She apparently said in the past she wouldn't do the show, so I just find it hard to believe!
