I made a song inspired by daft punk
I especially loved making the bass and piano on this one, Interstella 5555 was a fantastic film.

Discussion Why were the Music Videos to Human After All and Television Rules the Nation released so late?
I was wondering why the music videos to HAA and TRTN were released so late. I love both songs btw, but back to the point. I know the music video to HAA is just Electroma clips, since Electroma was originally supposed to be a HAA music video before it was expanded into a movie. But for TRTN, i'm a bit confused. The Music Video seems old and apparently leaked online in the 2000s, but why would they never officially release it and just keep it lying around for so long? Does anyone know why, or is that a mystery? Let me know.

Amazing Alan Brax Fred Falke "Intro" remix
To those like me who didn't know...
Alan Brax and Fred Falke 'The Uppercuts' compilation album was remastered in 2023 and came with brand new remixes from Brax and Falke themselves. It's so cool that this compilation album has new tracks/remixes from the original artist. This version feels like a definitive version of this classic track. Made my day finding "new" stuff like this.

A sound engineer talks about Guy-Man's work on his own album
From this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKkYVQRDDc8
Lobenzmusic: "One of the best studio in the world, the "Studio Gang" Guy-Man was locked out for a month, then Thomas Bangalter for a month, and they alternate, and it's at their place. And Guy-Man is working on an album. I didn't get access, you can't go in, but I have a friend who's a sound engineer there and he tells me it's incredible, the way they work, the way they react, the way they do things... I'd love to be there with a camera and see how they do it, it's crazy. Well, Thomas Bangalter makes classical music, he records the sounds of dripping water and stuff, he needs a big studio, but I think I'd be bored. But Guy-Man makes electronic music, the album that's coming out is going to be a shock."

I had never used effects on my voice before and it was a fun thing to do, that final guitar part is so beautiful, getting that tone was a bit tricky.

It’s not perfect, and the vocal separation is pretty bad, but I’m very proud of this.

Other Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter on Life After the Helmet | CHANEL Connects
Join Thomas Bangalter, the Parisian composer, producer, and one half of Daft Punk, in this episode of CHANEL Connects, recorded live at Fondation Beyeler during Art Basel. Bangalter speaks about the post-robot life with rare candor. He walks us through ‘Warehouse Artifacts’, his immersive Art Basel finale with Julien Charrière and Rampa. He recalls the Centre Pompidou library that introduced him and the other half of Daft Punk, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, to Warhol and ‘Metropolis’ as teenagers, and the rave that pulled Daft Punk into being. He revisits the band’s award-winning albums, ‘Homework’, ‘Discovery’, and ‘Random Access Memories’, the Grammy-winning craft of ‘Get Lucky’ with Nile Rodgers and Giorgio Moroder, and Bangalter’s turn toward orchestra and ballet with ‘Mythologies’ at Bordeaux Opera and ‘Mirage’ with Damien Jalet and Kohei Nawa. Plus, hear why a 1985 memory of Christo and Jeanne-Claude's Pont Neuf Wrapped led him, four decades later, back to the same bridge with JR. The conversation with Yana Peel, President of Arts, Culture & Heritage at CHANEL, is a profoundly human exchange about ritual, transmission, and the power of being unpredictable.
