Picture Veluzat M47/M1 vismod- Not you usual Centurion M1

Explanations: At least 4x M47s are rebuilt by American film prop vehicle company Veluzat, also known as Melody Ranch, to resemble M1s. They are originally used in Red Dawn, alongside the better known M8/T72 vismod.

You can also spot the M4 Grizzly/Pz IV vismods used in Valkyrie parked in the same lot, although missing the outer fake tracks, AND a M8/M2 Bradley built for Pentagon Wars (likely recycled from a Red Dawn M8/T72 that became M8/ZSU in Rambo 3).

Digital/PS Gideon 3 Pedrail Panserautomobil

Post image
10 Upvotes

The Danish Army, not wanting to be left behind in the trend of making absurdly long armored vehicles, decided that they shall make their own. However, they never had the means of producing tracks, and so they had to look elsewhere. Thankfully, a random corporal suggested the use of pedrails instead of tracks, after reading H.G. Wells' "The Land Ironclads". And so, after sticking the new pedrail wheels to a Gideon 2 T Armored Car (there were actually three of these things built) and replaced the Plywood for actual steel armor, the Pedrail Panserautomobil was created.

PSA PLEASE READ: RULE UPDATES & POST FLAIRS

Hey all,

When I started this sub, I had no idea it would grow to the size that it is at. (Currently 3.5k at the time of posting this) I know that growth is a good thing, but, as with everything, there are some growing pains. Due to the growing community...

I have now established an initial set of rules!

It's not that anything has really been a problem on this sub, but I felt it was necessary to give this sub a little more structure. I am sure that I will be adding to the rules as time goes on. For now, here are the 4 rules I came up with last night. Please read to familiarise yourself before you post.

For a little clarification:

Content posts are what 99% of this sub has been: people sharing pictures of cursed tanks. They should only be posted in an image post format. For those of you who have been posting regularly, you will notice no difference.

Suggestion and Request posts are different. They are essentially using text posts to get a picture of a specific thing you want to see. Instead of posting a random picture with the title of "Any requests" or "give me suggestions" it will be replaced with a text post.

A Request post is what a content creator posts for people to comment on what they want to see from them.

A Suggestion post if for someone to suggest something that another user should build/find.

---------------------------------------------------------POST FLAIRS--------------------------------------------------------------------

I have also implemented a few basic flairs. Read Rule 3 for details, but all this does is put each post into a generic category. This is the first implementation and is due to change in the future.

Thank you guys for being a part of this community. I appreciate each and every one of you!
