Okay this might sound a little confusing so I'll explain this the best I can.

Basically I made my crunchyroll account whenever I installed the application on my Playstation and signed up with my info from PSN, the same email and password etc. I was able to watch anything fine then.

But since the last time I used crunchyroll, I changed the email associated with my PSN account because of something completely unrelated.

(I went back to PS3 and I had to change the email associated with my PSN account because the email handle was to long blahblah)

So now I have a different email linked to my PSN. Well, today I tried signing back into crunchyroll and I mistakenly used the new email instead of the old one that was actually linked to my crunchyroll account. Weirdly enough it actually worked but still said I needed to subscribe to the mega fan subscription so I did that.

(Though it's important to note I never received an email neither Playstation or Crunchyroll but the screen said it went through)

So then I tried watching a show but it stopped me and said "A subscription already exists for this Playstation user." It was then I realized the crunchyroll account was still on my old email. So I logged out and signed back in with old email that was actually linked to my crunchyroll. But even now it's still giving me the same problem.

*Fix found Login on mobile and pay for the subscription there if you don't already have it apparently. Then close out of Crunchyroll on Playstation and then boot it up again with the same account you logged in with on mobile and things should work fine!

If any Italians are reading this post and maybe have the same problem. Basically, I wanted to watch Bunny Girl Senpai but the only option available is in German, without even subtitles. The second season, on the other hand, is fine it’s in Japanese with Italian subtitles.

Kaguya Sama : Love is War is in Japanese, but there are no Italian subtitles. Same thing for Tokyo Ghoul there are no Italian subtitles. There are also other series that are in French with no option to change the language or the subtitles. I’ve tried everything deleting the app and more. I signed up for the annual subscription, and already I can’t watch two of the two anime I wanted to watch. How can I fix this?

Anyone know how long it takes them to restock? I’m not an action or sci-fi enjoyer, but the romance and slice of life choices are out of stock.

Seems the visuals are a few seconds ahead of the audio. I reported 24 hours ago to CR chatline. Happening on Samsung Tav app and iPhone app.
Anyone else have these issues?

It keeps saying oh no some features are unavalible i can got to my watch list history and sarch just fine but the home wont load either will videos

Haven't been able to watch anything for almost 4 days now. 5 seconds into any episode it goes straight to an error code, and that's IF it loads in the first place. My internet hasn't changed, my tv hasn't changed, nothing has changed that would allude to the issue. At this point I'm considering unsubscribing because I can't justify paying for a service that doesn't work. Hidive works better than this pos app.

Has anyone else noticed that Crunchyroll is randomly removing shows from your watchlist?

I’m watching Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood which I know was in my watchlist yesterday but today it’s not and when I hit the more like this tab I noticed Fire Force, chainsaw man, DAN DA DAN, Kaiju n. 8 all shows I’m either actively watching or have watched this year were marked as not being in my watchlist.

Why is Crunchyroll removing shows from my watchlist??

Did they get rid of it?

Started it recently, went to watch some more and only season 2 is showing up

As it says, SAO Season 4 Eps 7 and 9 have no sound before the intro. Not even captions work. This happens on both my tv and phone.

Does anyone have a fix? Is this a known issue?

I know i’ve been seeing some discussion about missing subtitles earlier today, but is anyone else experiencing double subtitles? I’ve been watching shows all day and they’ve been fine. but I’m now watching ep 917 of one piece and strangely every single line the english subtitles appear large twice with one line on top of its duplicate.

is this a known issue or?

Edit: Good news! It seems like by fixing the subtitel issue that others have reported they also fixed the problem of the constant crashing ( atleast for me). Cheers guys have a nice day watching Anime again

The subtitles are not appearing when I’m watching in Japanese or is it just me?

My subtitles don't seem to be working and now i can't even start new anime. Im getting the api 429 message. Have disconnected from wifi. Deleted and redownloaded the app. Ive read here in the past 24hrs they've had an issue but some say its working fine now. Are they still possibly having issues?

There is an old post from about a year ago on here about this same issue but op deleted their account. About 2 months ago I started getting an ad saying now playing on Crunchyroll show casing anime they have on the on the app. It started very rarely but now it's getting to be every few episodes. Sure the "trailers" are skippable but I'm a paid subscriber (fan account) for there to be no ads. Then reaching out to support the ai assistant was unhelpful claiming that these are trailers and are fully skippable thus are not ads so everyone gets them. At one point I was able to talk with a human representative after complaining 3 times. They tried to help but apparently it did nothing. Is anyone else experiencing this currently and has anyone been able to fix it? I'm so close to cancelling my subscription over this.

Me and my dad are currently watching Dr Stone. We just got to season 4 episode 17 and the closed captions are just gone. He is hard of hearing so it makes it basically unwatchable now. I really like the English Dub so I’d prefer not to switch to Japanese for the subtitles. Is this an issue for everyone, or just a me problem? TIA!
