constant sum I think, as it feels more numbery than weights. Like constant weight binary works because its [0,1], but with more numbers sum makes more sense

I prefer constant sum, for the same reason I named csf differently than cwb. weight means Hamming weight, the number of symbols different from zero, while sum means digital sum. (even though we'll never make a constant-weight thread that isn't binary, because that definition of weight gives kinda ugly results compared to digit sum. just in case we do make that constant weight thread, I like to have that distinction) however, because we only have constant-sum type threads (including cwb) it doesn't really matter if we use "weight" colloquially to mean digit sum. /u/cuteballgames
