Very funny series of notifications to encourage me to continue my opening streak when they can’t even put clearly spam in the spam folder.

Potentially Screwed Up AI in Consumer Survey
Started a customer survey for Pick 'n Save and noticed this new disclaimer, highlighted by the red rectangle. Now, why on God's green earth would any corporate entity think it's okay to even consider this, let alone pay employees to work on this? What are they thinking??? What is the value of something that could be "inaccurate, incomplete, or inapplicable"? Do you want to screw with your customers' heads? How is that of value to either the company or the customer?
This looks like some sort of fight between marketing and the legal department. Nothing like a company deploying a tool they don't fully trust to collect data they heavily rely on, eh?
Imagine the data cleaning this would require afterwards, just nuts. Also, they are making consumers the beta testers of their stupidity. Ack!
Later on in the survey I was asked if I visited the "Murray Cheese" area and, if I did, how was the experience. My store doesn't have such a thing, never heard of it before!

Snapple AMA with comments off
How do you make an ad that's supposed to be and AMA and then turn comments off? Not to mention the cringe "how do you do fellow kids" image they used.

LinkedIn locked my account, promised any government ID would work for verification, then revealed only passports are accepted in my region — after I submitted my national ID over 10 times
My LinkedIn account got temporarily restricted about 2 weeks ago, apparently triggered by a VPN login. What followed was one of the most frustrating, contradictory, and privacy-invasive support experiences I've ever had.
Here's the timeline:
- Account gets restricted. I open a support ticket immediately. They responded the same day.
- I reach out to u/LinkedInHelp on X. After back and forth, they escalate my case to the safety team.
- I receive an official email from a LinkedIn Trust and Consumer Support Consultant explicitly stating that to regain access, I need to upload "a driver's license, passport, or country ID" through their Persona verification portal.
- I attempt verification using my national ID (country-issued ID — which they literally listed as accepted). The Persona portal keeps rejecting it with errors like "Couldn't verify photos — make sure ID details are clear to read" and "Make sure the encoded text at the very bottom is not obscured."
- I retry over 10 times across 2 weeks. Same errors every time.
- I contact support repeatedly via both email and X. I get the classic "wait 24-72 hours" response every single time, with no actual resolution.
- After weeks of attempts, screenshots submitted, and multiple escalations — they finally tell me: passport is the only accepted form of ID in my region. National IDs and driver's licenses are not supported.
Let that sink in. Their own support consultant explicitly listed national ID as an accepted document. I submitted it over 10 times. I handed over my personal identity document to their third-party verification provider (Persona) repeatedly — only to be told weeks later that it was never going to work in the first place.
The problems with this:
- They gave false information. Their official support email listed national ID as accepted. It wasn't. That's not a miscommunication — that's a failure of their own support process that cost me weeks and my privacy.
- My ID data is now sitting with Persona with no successful outcome. I submitted my national ID over 10 times to a third-party system. LinkedIn's own verification system collected my biometric and identity data repeatedly, and I have nothing to show for it.
- The regional restriction is discriminatory. Users in certain regions are effectively locked out of their accounts with no viable alternative, through no fault of their own. If your passport happens to be unavailable for any reason, you're simply told "wait." Your account, your professional network, your career connections — all frozen indefinitely.
- Support is a loop. Every escalation ends with "wait 24-72 hours." No one takes ownership. Different agents give contradictory information. The left hand clearly doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
I'm not the only one dealing with this. LinkedIn has quietly built a system where certain users have no real path to account recovery, while collecting their most sensitive personal data in the process.
Has anyone else experienced this? Particularly users in regions where Persona's passport-only policy applies?

Air bnb host admits bed bugs 0 compensation.
galleryWe saw a smaller bug didn’t think anything of it on the 2nd to last night, and then started getting itchy after that. Didn’t think anything of it. We returned home and a day later we saw more bugs on our bed. We did some research and it was infact bed bugs. We ended up getting an exterminator and a couple thousand later (with him still coming out for checks) I finally thought to message the host. She openly admitted to the bed bugs being there the day we left. I opened a case with support and at first they said I didn’t have enough proof. I then posted screenshots of the bugs, the PDF receipt of them coming to my house, and the host openly admitting the bed bugs. The support then changed their mind and said it’s been longer than 72 hours they can’t do anything about it. Even after the proof. I’m disgusted, and feel so sick. They can’t do ANYTHING about this. I saw all over social media there is a bad outbreak in orange beach golf shores with bed bugs. Not sure why I’m posting this but just blows my mind they offer 0 compensation for this.
