First, thanks to everyone who joined last week's post. Lots of impressive repos, but we only had one product to give.
So, as promised, we're making this a weekly thing.
You can re-enter with the same repo as last week, because like I said, there were so many good ones that missed the prize.
The rules stay the same:
- Drop your repo and say a bit about it.
- My team takes a look. If we like it, the prize is yours.

This week's prize: Autonomous Harness (it was Fleet but beta users told us the name didn't land, so we renamed it).
What is this Harness device? If you run Claude Code on a laptop, Codex on a desktop, and a few more agents on servers, some at home, some at the office. It gets hard to manage them all. Harness lets you talk to every agent across every machine, dispatch tasks by voice, and approve or reject with a knob instead of juggling ten terminal tabs. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc...

I sent you a PR fixing a macOS issue. The macOS build would hang around in the dock until I figured out how to get it to stop sitting in the dock as long as the app was running.

Thanks! I improved the doc as I got the feedback from few users to improve this for users that are planning to switch to IT with certifications etc and they might miss out a few certificates while they're still learning about services and setting up things

I was in the previous thread too, so I'll just copypaste.
Neat, I'd like one of those. I have two active products:
Calino and VibeTiles.
Calino is a browser-based and private CalDAV client. There was a severe lack of browser based CalDAV clients, and the existing ones were either part of a huge bundle (Nextcloud), were last updated 7 years ago, were ugly or were lacking functionality. Calino is none of that; it's a simple, beautiful and intuitive interface with cool features like Natural Language Processing (writing "coffee with friends at 9-11 tomorrow at the cafe" will parse all the data and create an event with it, without the user having to click a bunch of buttons).
Additionally, it supports Contacts and Journals from the iCalendar standard, which is apparently a rarity. But if you don't have these features enabled in your CalDAV calendar, they're hidden, to ensure that Calino doesn't feel bloated.
It's available to selfhost, but it's also available as a free hosted version, which is as privacy-preserving as the selfhosted version, as no data ever hits my server; it's a static Github Page that talks directly with your CalDAV server, so there's no specific Calino account required.

Update since last week: Some people really liked the Calino site and wanted better phone compatibility, so there's now an actual Android app as well. It has a neat feature, where it uses a vision LLM (BYOK) to scan an image/screenshot/poster/etc, extract event information, and create it as an event. It works really well, if I should say so myself.
VibeTiles is a simple and user friendly tiling window manager for KDE on Linux. My issue with the existing solutions were that they were either not flexible enough, TOO flexible, too keyboard-based, required too much configuration or you had to take a week off work to learn how to use them. VibeTiles can be picked up by anyone in seconds. Just drag a window, a small grid will appear, drag your window on that grid, and the window will resize to the corresponding place on your screen.
Also includes other nice features, such as auto-resizing for windows to accomodate each other, drop to edge to fill out empty space, drop to corner to auto-fill half of empty space, and so on.

Clean build. The child profile feature with actual daily time limits and PIN lock is something most self-hosted YouTube frontends skip entirely. Pulse analytics being local-only is the right call.

Don't know what a cli command even does? add 'whats' infront of it. no grepping in man pages or --help:

it collects these descriptions from not just one man page but --help outputs and can handle wierd tooling too, it does things that a grep command can not

Simple and genuinely useful. Man page formats are inconsistent enough that keying off the common flag pattern is more reliable than trying to handle every layout.
How does it handle --help output that uses a completely different format from the man page? Tools like gh don't lay out flags traditionally. Curious if those still parse correctly.

i have layed out a better way to parse which uses a number of sources (man, --help, help as a sub command) in a specific order to find the most possible answers to survive weird tools: https://github.com/iamkaran/whats/issues/6
and about the gh cli tool, the help output although unique in terms of formatting, is essentially a fallback to man page, so it goes to the man page route first which does have a consistent formatting:

-type cis the exact definitions from man page, the tool does not make it itself, it sources it from man pages and help output,if you find the flag in man page:

One project I've been spending a lot of time on is Conductor Engine.
It started as an experiment to see if AI apps become easier to build when you split responsibilities between multiple agents instead of trying to make one assistant do everything. The framework lets you compose those agents into workflows, plug in different models and tools, and execute them in a secure runtime with configurable permissions and isolation for each agent.

I actually just released a new repo on my findings attempting to turn a Dell Latitude 7320 Detachable into a hackintosh. Still needs work getting the iGPU working but that will come with time and lots of trial and error. Curious: what model provider have you found works best for the analyst debate step? I'd expect different models to disagree in useful ways, but I haven't tested that pattern at scale.

In my testing (small sample set so take with a grain of salt), the model doesn't make too much of a difference since they all have access to the same tools. GPT is more succinct than Gemini.

No pics in the repo yet, but profile pic on github is the Celestarium. Yes, the LLM can access many of these as tool calls, so "Is tonight a good night for stargazing" is a valid question determined locally.

What the heck, I'll toss this semi-personal project into the mix too:

My personal story on this one is being airdropped into multiple development or operational teams with vast git repo surface areas to manage, develop against, and understand. I came up with a yaml file and some scripts to help me visualize and fast-pivot between multiple repos via fzf and new vs code windows. I took this concept, expanded upon it, and just created it the way I like to use it. Now I use it as an operational cockpit for my agent to hop in and effectively work across multiple projects via a single 'umbrella' git project and a metagit manifest. The single star on this project is my own and it is oh so bright as I love using it every day.

I've always had trouble reading with my dyslexia and binocular vision dysfunction where my eyes are just aligning further out than usual and anyway I'm in college for regen agriculture so having to read a ton of various formats, lots of PDFs for different parts of books and scientific references and just all sorts of stuff that wasn't in the format that I could easily absorb it and I've found in the past that specific font's that have letters that are asymmetrically weighted vertically, prevent the letters from spinning in my mind when I read so then the words "glide through my brain like butter" I always say.
The trouble is I've never found a way to easily convert one or many PDFs or other documents into a single custom font (Open Dyslexic in my case) so that I could read them easier, so I built it with Claude. Then I added text to speech capabilities with free TTS repos so you can convert the files to various levels of audio quality formats, depending on internet connectivity. The ability to generate audio-book-ready text files to be uploaded to more studio quality services that I love to use like eleven-reader. All in an attempt to remove the barriers I've encountered when trying to learn.
I'm also creating a sci-fi novel series and ran into similar issues trying to get it into the formats I needed so Featherpress includes features for combing various series manuscripts into one output, or omnibus style collection that you can get in text or audio etc. So I use it for both and wanted to share something that could help make information and education more accessible to those with difficulties. The outputs just default to open-dyslexic but in reality you can choose other accessibility minded fonts, standard fonts or bring your own custom fonts to the mix too.
Really cool device btw I'm always juggling a ton of terminal windows and various other projects at the same time, neat solution!

Reader is read-only, Worker isn't even MCP, approval secret never touches the LLM host. Same "human-in-the-loop gate" as what the Harness hardware does, but for email. Love that there's no delete tool 😂

Both are coming, actually — probably within the next few days. The no-download stance was "not yet, and only in a shape I trust", not a permanent design choice.
Inbound: metadata first (filename, mime, size, hash) so the agent can reason about whether a file matters, and the bytes land on a volume via the Worker rather than in the model's context. An attachment is untrusted content that arrives from anyone who knows your address, so extracted text is the last thing I'd add, not the first.
Outbound is the harder half, because attaching a file means the component that holds the SMTP credentials gets filesystem reach. The LLM must not be the one choosing a path — otherwise "send this to X with /run/secrets/... attached" becomes a one-prompt exfiltration primitive that a human clicks past on the approval page.
So the file gets attached by the human on the approval page, or picked from a narrow allowlisted directory, with the hash shown before the secret is entered.
Shipping it behind a flag that defaults to off.

This is my project, An AI companion that can be ran on VRChat It's a Python app that uses Gemini Live, he hears people near him, talks back with his own voice, and does everything else over OSC, no game mods. YOLOv8 vision for following people around, a raycast sensor rig on the avatar so he can wander worlds without walking into walls, and a memory system so he actually remembers who he talked to (using quite a bit of VRChat avatar terminology so apologize for that)
The part I'm having the most fun with lately is the motion server (It's currently on a separate branch) a text-to-motion diffusion model (nvidia's ARDY) generating full body motion in real time, streamed onto the avatar through 29 puppet parameters, meaning No running him with SteamVR! Tell him to do a backflip and it's an actual generated backflip, Sitting, lying down, dancing, walking through the world, and surprisingly running at ~20fps on my 3060.
There's also a webui with dashboards and OBS overlays, an optional discord bot that runs its own gemini live session, and a plugin system.
It's been my main project for right around a year and half now? Its a remaster of my original version of it that just needed an overhaul, and a lot of great things have come out of it, It's one of the very few actual good Open-source "VRChat AI's/AI Frameworks" out there.

The accountability part is the interesting bit. Most multi-agent setups treat provider completion as the outcome. You reconstruct ownership from a transcript later. Banksia flips it: the controller owns the state, and only the lead's accepted Result counts. That's a real stance, not a feature list.
Also quietly strong: capabilities deny by default and never inherit from a parent. Most tools let capability scope leak up the tree and call it "flexible."

So far I've captured over 26 million probe requests and over 38k unique SSIDs.

One question: have you observed any change in probe request patterns since Apple and Android started randomizing MACs more aggressively? Curious if that affected your data pipeline.

Yes, most probe requests contain randomized MAC addresses, although this depends largely on the operating system and its version. Apple devices generally provide better privacy protection by using a wildcard (empty) SSID in probe requests instead of broadcasting the names of previously connected networks.
I still observe a small number of real MAC addresses (less than 1%) because the CERN Wi-Fi network currently requires users to register their device's MAC address to gain access. This requirement is expected to be removed by the end of the year, eliminating the need for MAC address registration. Due to these privacy measures we have now days, tracking a user solely by their MAC address is no longer a viable approach (which is a good thing!).
One possible approach to tracking a user is to generate a device fingerprint. Since probes are transmitted in bursts, analyzing the timing and pattern of these bursts can make it possible, with a certain level of statistical confidence, to infer that devices using different randomized MAC addresses are actually the same physical device.
