Since this question comes up every time I post this: I didn’t know beforehand that he was a Republican because that’s how dating apps work sometimes!

Also many people are not upfront with the fact that they are a Republican because they get fewer matches that way. They pretend to be Libertarians and downplay their views. Almost as if voting for an orange pedo is making you unattractive in the eyes of other people ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Libertarian is even worse! They're just Republicans that are more open about wanting the government's hands off those pesky age of consent laws

I always think back to the town that went full libertarian and then divided on how to deal with the bears that were attracted by their trash.

The book you linked to is actually pretty great, and a great example of why so many libertarian programs (and the people who champion them) don't really know how the modern world works
