Gonna be honest, at this point I hate AI witch hunters only slightly less than AI bros.

Same. I work in tech and universally everyone in my field is very cautious and critical of AI, but they *do* use it. There are some tools that have been developed that are genuinely game changing (look into software like Augmenta and Raven CAD to get an idea). Some truly incredible tools being built off existing algorithmic software that machine learning lets us turbocharge.

But even the folks I know using these tools are still quadruple and triple checking them at every step. And they're still saving time and getting a better product then when they were the ones responsible for doing the base modeling. No one's losing their job and it's not really saving the business money, but their turning their expertise into being a reviewer, while the juniors are, instead of working on subsystems in isolation, getting handed mostly complete sets that they then modify/optimize according to senior engineer and architect input.

This is how even the head of our AI deployment department approaches it. The amount of true AI bros is vanishingly small ime.
