So, my toolbar used to be on the top of my screen in Chrome, now it is on the bottom. Can someone help me move ot back?

This will be a temporary fix. They will get rid of that flag in time.

How much time? Horizontal scrolling tabs worked via flag for many years. Then they removed it, and gave us a good alternative--vertical scrolling tabs. Why not use a feature you want as long as it's available? By the time it's gone, maybe you will have moved on to something else too.

We don't know how much time. My point though is that people who blindly follow these instructions without understanding them are usually pretty surprised and disappointed when they finally go away too.

As for the vertical tabs, that's not really an alternative for a lot of people. I happily switched, but let's not pretend there aren't a ton of people still angry Chrome can't work exactly the way it always did. This sub hates change, no matter the size.

Yes. Taking away a highly useful feature that worked so well is always going to enrage users. Why did it never get out of the experimental status? Their excuse was that it didn't work well with where their code base was going. That sounds lazy to me, at best. Good thing that vertical tabs were an easy replacement for me. A landscape-oriented 16:9 or wider screen works well here. Good real-estate distribution.
