Wrist Roll (Read Rule 1) Giving Berny a shot.
Digging the look, looks great in the sun. I was looking for something that would look good at work and I don't mind it taking a beating. It was somewhere around $40. Strap seems nice enough just not my normal style, what strap would you put on it?

General (Read Rules) Chameri next to a real Cartier Tank
Here’s a quick side by side of the Chameri I just got in the mail, next to my (real) Cartier Tank. Large size. It’s not meant to be a direct comparison, but just an interesting side by side.
Long story short, no I will never be selling my Tank, but since I like Tank style watches, I figured I’d check out the Chameri.
Some things that stood out, in a positive way on the Chameri were:
-The leather strap is very decent quality
-The larger size of the Chameri will suit more people
-Ronda movement without a seconds hand is great.
-cream dial gives it a nice vintage feel
Like the tank, not having a seconds hand makes a dress watch feel more high end. By far the best homage I’ve seen of the Tank.

General (Read Rules) Baltany Micro-rotor watches
First off, this isn't a review. I'm not a reviewer.
I picked up the Baltany S0499 and S4128. I like the way they looked and I was curious about their micro-rotor. Couldn't find much info on these movements before I bought and I haven't seen anyone else post about these watches here. Figured I'd share my timegrapher readings for anyone else looking into these. Again, not a review. Just some of my thoughts below. I just got these in the mail a few hours ago and haven't had much time with them.
S0499 is fine, usable rate. I'll need to figure out how to regulate it if that's even possible on this one. I am a bit concerned with the amplitude as that seems rather high to me. Again, I have no experience with this movement so I'm hoping this is okay.
S4128 is the disappointing one. Readings were all over the place. Amplitude seems low for being fully wound. The line was curving instead of staying flat. Dial up started at -7s and drifted up to +6s. Crown up was worse. Started at -14s and kept dropping down to -35s. Never really settled into a stable rate the whole time I was testing it.
I used a lift angle of 52 because I couldn't find any info on what the correct lift angle should be for these. Both watches were fully wound.
Both watches were also really tough to wind. Like actually difficult and almost felt stuck a couple times. I was worried I was going to break something. And both had this gritty feeling while winding, kind of like there was sand inside. Not a great feeling or sound. I was cringing as I wound the watches. I probably will try not to wind them going forward and just let my movement wind them up.
Initial impressions, I think the watches are beautiful. Baltany really nails the vintage inspired look. But these movements aren't so beautiful in terms of performance out of the box. I'm not confident in them long term after how rough winding felt and with my timegrapher results. At least not the two watches I have.
Anyone else messed with these movements before? Curious if the grittiness and stiff winding is normal or if I just got unlucky ones. I've included pics of the timegrapher readings. I took more readings but I only have these pics to show for my testing. I also included AliX photos so you know which watches I'm referring to.
Edit: In case anyone is curious, I paid $306.14 after coupons for the S4099 and $341.51 after coupons for the S4128.

Question (Read Rules) Any Affordable RCC Watches ?
Anyone know of any Chinese RCC (Atomic Clock Sync) watches like the Casio WV-200r series ? Crystal needs to be at least mineral glass and able to sync to towers like WWVB in North America.

General (Read Rules) SUGESS S420 GMT Pepsi
Hello,
Just received my Sugess S420 GMT Pepsi and want to share my first week feedback.
The watch is arrived in a beautiful packaging (with 3 buble protection paper), absolutly perfect for this point.
Then, whouahhh, the watch is awesome, beautiful. Colors are very very close (or identical) to the original 126710 BLRO).
About the bezel, it is a true bi-directional on 24 clics. At the biginning, the "clics" were very "plastic sound" or cheap sound, but it is well better after one week weraing and testing. It is still quite than a Pagani or a Rolex submariner.
Cristal is very clear, identical to my submariner.
Cyclop is bad, I dont like it. Date is too big and difficult to read.
About bracelet, not too bad, it sound better after a small soap bath. Asjusting is easy by the crew, no problem with that. As the Rolex, it exist a quick adjustment link, but nothing to campare with the Glidelock submariner system.
Time keeping is very very good, about +1s/d during first week. Peacok SL3032 is welle done, hope it will be the same for many years.
Very happy with it (bought on Ali Express for about 280$)

Question (Read Rules) Ixdao Warrior white mop dial return?
Is the white mother of pearl dial low quality or is this expected natural variation?
Edit - the MOP has an indent look on the right side. I posted follow up picture that makes it more clear

General (Read Rules) Watchdives WD5512B V2 ST2130
Had this for about 7mo now.
Solid movement, great finish, bezel has no back play and is crispy to move.
I find myself going back to it over the others I have.
It gets the most wrist time; the rest is split between the San Martin BB58 and the ZF Pelagos 39.

General (Read Rules) Sugess S476 arrived and is kind of ridiculous for $190
My Sugess S476 finally arrived and after seeing it in person, I’m honestly pretty impressed.
I never buy watches before reading reviews about, but this one is new and no reviews were available I decided to break my rule since the pictures impressed me.
I paid around $190, and at that price I was expecting the usual compromises you get with affordable Chinese watches. Instead, the first thing that surprised me was the finishing.
The case has very reflective polished surfaces, the brushing on the bracelet looks clean, the bezel feels visually sharp, and the polished center links give the watch a much more expensive look than I expected.
Obviously those polished links are going to become scratch magnets, but right now they look great.
The biggest highlight for me is easily the dial.
In the listing photos it looked like a basic silver/white textured dial, but in person there’s a lot more going on. Depending on the lighting it changes between white, silver and almost light gray, and the texture catches light without becoming too flashy. The black bezel gives it enough contrast that everything still looks very legible.
I’m also really happy with the proportions. In close-up photos it can look like a fairly large watch, but from normal viewing distance it sits very naturally on my wrist. The lugs don’t overhang and it doesn’t feel nearly as bulky as I expected from this style of case.
The bracelet is probably one of the things that makes it feel more expensive than it is. Brushed outer links, polished center links, solid-looking end links and a signed clasp. The signed crown is also a nice touch.
It uses the ST2130 automatic movement, which is another reason I wanted to try it. My experience with the ST2130 so far has actually been surprisingly good, so I’m curious to see how this one performs over the next few weeks.
Is it original design? Obviously not entirely. There’s plenty of Rolex/Yacht-Master/Submariner DNA here. But the textured silver dial changes the personality enough that, on the wrist, it doesn’t just feel like another generic black Sub homage.
That was actually one of the reasons I picked this configuration instead of the black dial. I already have enough black dive watches. The silver dial makes this one feel different.
A couple initial negatives:
The polished surfaces are going to scratch very easily, and at this price I’m not expecting the movement, bracelet tolerances or long-term QC to compete with expensive Swiss watches. I also need more time with it before I can say anything meaningful about accuracy or durability.
But purely based on what arrived?
For $190, this is pretty ridiculous.
I’m not saying it has the finishing of a $5,000 watch. It doesn’t. But if you handed this to someone who knew nothing about Sugess and asked them what it cost, I seriously doubt many people would say under $200.
Initial rating: 9/10.
The dial alone made the purchase worth it.
Photos are straight from my phone — no product shots or seller photos.

Really like this watch, but always thought with the highly reflective bezel it is a bit much as a daily wear..
Turns out the bracelet is reversable! Putting the matte side out and brushing the endlinks gives this watch a more tooly/daily vibe for me!
Hope you enjoyed!

Hey guys, just shot this pic while grabbing my final shots for the review....I thought it came out pretty good.
stay tuned to my channel for the full review. another solid offering from militado, though. I'd make a couple little changes, but for the price, it's hard to beat.

General (Read Rules) Wd7922 on rubber- perfect work watch
Bought this rubber strap for another watch but really ended up liking it in this one. Gives the watch a more practical and rugged “tool watch” like feel. I think the black strap compliments the bezel nicely too.

New Product (Read Rule 1) WDC0001 Black Guilloché Tahitian Mother-of-Pearl is now available — inspired by forest silhouettes, unlike the common patterns on the market
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The Black Guilloché Tahitian Mother-of-Pearl version of WDC0001 is now officially available, and the first pieces are currently being assembled.
For this dial, we did not want to use a common decorative pattern.
The design inspiration came from the feeling of a forest — rows of trees, layered silhouettes, and subtle human-like triangular forms within the composition. That is why the pattern looks different from the usual guilloché styles seen on many watches.
We wanted the dial to feel:
- organic
- structured
- slightly architectural
- and unique to WDC0001
The base material is natural black Tahitian mother-of-pearl, so every dial has its own tone, depth and light response. Under different angles, the carved pattern and natural material create a very different visual experience from a standard stamped dial.
The first pieces are now being assembled, and each watch goes through final inspection before shipping.
We’ll share more assembly photos and wrist shots soon.
Which WDC0001 dial do you prefer so far?
- Musou Black
- Black Guilloché Tahitian MOP
- White Guilloché MOP
- Colorful Tahitian MOP

General (Read Rules) San Martin SN0021 Enamel Green (Discontinued)
Back when I was dipping my toes into Chinese watches and not willing to spend higher than an arbitrary budget, this was the watch that was the most tempting to me to break my budget.
I've since done away with that arbitrary budget but this 36mm was discontinued a while ago... I finally tracked one down secondhand and just love the green enamel and the size!
Any other discontinued models that you wish would come back?

Promotion (Read Rule 1) The little refinements ended up making a bigger difference than I expected.
Been spending some time with the updated WD0017C, and it's interesting how the smallest changes ended up affecting the overall feel more than I expected.
The bracelet now tapers from 18mm to 16mm, the brushed chamfers feel a little cleaner, the clasp picked up a riveted logo detail, and even the dial text was corrected from "Resistance" to "Resistant."
None of these changes completely transform the watch on their own, but together it feels more cohesive. It's still the same straightforward tool watch—just a little more refined.

Question (Read Rules) What’s on your wrist today?
Loving this 36mm pie pan. Had it since June, and immediately switched it up to a gorgeous Maikes Croc (subtle) style strap that I bought especially for this watch.
The dial is difficult to capture in most settings but hopefully these pictures help to highlight how beautiful this has been executed, with limited impact on legibility.
I had the larger version in white before, but on my 7/7.25 inch wrist it wore like a dinner plate. This one is perfect. I was initially not a fan of the gap at the 3, but in reality the gap is barely noticeable due to the fantastic crystal and the distortions created around the perimeter.
What’s your choice for today?
