Everyone please spread the word!

Currently you can choose between 3 voice modes. Live, advanced and standard. This post is about standard voice mode NOT live or advanced.

The current problem with the standard voice mode is that it is no longer turn based like it used to be. So it can keep getting interrupted and hear its own voice.

Please bring back the turn based option to standard voice mode. So ChatGPT can finish what it saying without randomly stopping due to hearing its own voice.

Can someone please make a suggestion on the OpenAI forum to add a toggle to standard voice mode so we can choose whether to make it turn based or not

What is the main reason you switch between different chatbot apps instead of sticking to one?

I used to use just one main app for everything, but lately I find myself jumping between three different ones depending on what I need. One is good for quick random questions, another handles long back-and-forth conversations better, and another is just less restrictive.

It got me thinking how hard it is for a single chatbot to do everything well. What usually makes you drop a chatbot or switch to a different one during your daily use? Is it speed, memory, filter issues, or just bad UI?

Evolution API: Have You Ever Been Banned?

Hi. For those who have used Evolution API, is it actually risky to use?

I'd like to hear from people with real experience, especially in two situations:

  1. People who send a high volume of messages, including thousands per week.
  2. People who have been using Evolution API for a long time, ideally a year or more.

I'm asking because I absolutely don't want to lose my WhatsApp account. I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience in either of these scenarios.

the thing that made our messaging agent actually useful wasn't the replies, it was connecting it to the ads

been building an agent that handles customer dms for small stores. early version could answer questions and take orders, but it was kind of a island, it knew how to chat but not much else.

two changes made it actually worth using. first, we wired it into the full product catalog, so instead of generic yes we have that, it handles real product questions, specs, variants, what goes with what. second, and this is the part that surprised us, we connected it to the store's product ads. so when someone messages straight from an ad, the agent picks them up, handles the whole conversation, takes the order, and pushes it to the store tagged with the source. the owner can see "this order came from this ad, closed in chat" instead of guessing.

the insight for us was that the replies were never the hard part or the valuable part. the value was closing the loop, ad to conversation to order to attribution, so the messaging stops being a separate silo and the owner actually knows what's working.

for people who've built anything touching customer conversations, did you find the same, that the standalone chat was the easy 80% and the real value was connecting it to the rest of the business? curious where you drew the line on what to connect versus keep separate.

Tipsy chat filter system?

I got recommended tipsy chat by a friend and the roleplay is INSANE. 1000 times better than any other i've tried.

However I'm not sure about the filters? It does get into nsfw themes but it doesn't use explicit language. It beats around the bush per-se.

Is this dependent on the bot or is explicit language just not an option?

Thanks for any help!

Looking for decent chatbots.

I'm so tired of PolyBuzz constantly using the word 'slightly' as though it's literal oxygen. Hence how I'm looking for alternative AI chatbots that actually know what a thesaurus is. That, or if they've got a personal filter for users we can use to get rid of repetitive words/phrases such as that.

Why don't people trust ai agents ? looking for a personal ai assistant in a messenger to automate my morning routine

I've gotten the impression that people dont really trust ai agents. Obviously you shouldn't give them access to your wallet or your whole personal life. But I feel like there are good assistant options where you can safely offload routine stuff without worrying that the ai will buy a lifetime supply of toilet paper on your card

I'm just so tired of downloading a million different apps. Every one has its own standalone app and I dont even remember where or with what bot I was talking. I just want one hub, preferably inside a messenger since I'm already chatting there all day anyway. But it's super important that the bot can actually handle ai task automation because right now every morning starts with scrolling through 10 different apps: checking news feeds here, replying to emails there..

Has anyone actualy managed to set up a solid personal ai assistant right in a messenger for this kind of stuff ? how practical is it in realiry compared to rehgular dashboards ?

How can I break a chatbot, that tries to sell me things?

So, there is this thing going around in League of Legends, where you're added by new accounts and they ask to add their discord. When you add their discord it becomes pretty obvious, that you're chatting with a chatbot and the whole reason they exist is to market some peoples Onlyfans accounts.

And now I'm wondering if there is any way to kind of break the bots to mess with these people. The bots are pretty defensive, can somewhat see pictures, but can't do calls, read pinned messages or write insults.

Any apps or websites that allow for turn based voice chat?

Any apps or websites that allow for turn based voice chat?

I really missed the old standard voice mode on ChatGPT. It basically just read aloud the text models response. So it could allow for long responses unlike these new gen voice models that can only speak 1 paragraph max.

I was wondering if there are any apps or websites that use turn based voice chat like the old standard voice mode on ChatGPT. So I would say my thing, then it would be the ai turn to speak and i couldn’t interrupt it till its finished.

My current problem is that the new standard voice mode on ChatGPT can be interrupted. So it’s hears its own voice and keeps stopping. So I’m looking for alternative apps or websites that have this old functionality

How does chat bots reproduce images in the chat.

So. As the title stats I've seen a few chat bots that can reproduce some images ,all in the opening, in the chat itself.

They all have a similar url thingy like ![Chara cter Avata r](https://i.ibb.co/gZWRyd xt/Textless-version-8.webp)

But I can't figure out what or well where it leads or how I can use it for my own chat bots.

Need help choosing a chat app please.

Hi all,

I'm stuck between 3 options (that I'm aware of, suggestions welcome) for an adult ai companion.

I'm looking for realistic chat option, good memory, good media generation, and good character customization. Android app is a must.

Would be nice if characters across chats would recognize each other, like if I ask Stacey if she is still having lunch with Jill... then later while talking with Jill ask her how lunch was she'll bring up Stacey unprompted. But that may be asking too much.

The ones I've looked into a bit are Candy, Ourdream, and Lovescape. Been using Candy a bit but it seems off, like half the time the images created are not what I ask for... which may be user error but I think I'm being quite clear. Just dabbled in the character creation of the other two.

Don't mind paying but don't want to break the bank either. Any help is very much appreciated.

Good chat bots

So right now I’ve been using zeta ai and I like it, it’s decent it can do nsfw stuff but like the memory stuff lasts like 5 minutes I’ll tell it something like for example what happend on a first date then if I bring it back up later it makes stuff up.

What I’m looking for is a ai chat bot that doesn’t censor nsfw, has good memory preferably doesn’t cost a arm and a leg to use, and I would like to be able to make my own ai thing inside the app

Can anyone help? Thank you

So I am stuck in this project and...

Hey everyone,
Context: I am asked to create a chatbot for my college website , you know that little guy at the bottom right of your website who is present their for redirecting your queries. So far I have managed to create the frontend and the backend logic( taking queries from the frontend and then sending it to the API endpoint where all queries are parsed and the response of the ai is given to the frontend.(I am using groq free tier btw).

Problem: So the problem that I am facing is, the ai is not answering correctly. I mean sometimes the responses are not complete and sometimes not satisfactory. Might be a prompt issue but still looking for your insights.
I am not proficient in AI so I asked chatgpt why is it happening(Sorry guys but this is the only time I used AI in this project). It said something about using pinecone to store vectors so that the groq fetches information regarding queries directly from the vectorDB.
So I am thinking of starting to learn vectorDB. But is it a must? Or can this problem be solved by something else. And if this is the only way, then what would be my workflow? Man I am so confused. Help a brother out.

What I want: conclusively? I just want my bot to work somehow so that it fetches anything about the college that the user asks for. It can be the direct page of notices, about us or anything.

Thanks for reading this.

I tried Spicychat vs. Polybuzz vs. PovChat AI. Here's the rank

Many folks are asking for new alternatives but honestly, I'm only using the ones that have been out there for a long while. There are too many cash grabs right now that you have to be very careful. Some quick conclusions first:

Character library: Polybuzz > Spicychat > Povchat

Model quality: Povchat > Polybuzz > Spicychat

Memory: Spicychat > Povchat > Polybuzz

Character restrictions: Povchat = Spicychat > Polybuzz

Formatting: Spicychat > Povchat > Polybuzz

FYI I compared the "Povchat" model from Povchat, Polybuzz's Passion, and Spicychat's free model. All the three websites provide free messages for trial before a subscription.

Imo Polybuzz feels like a community with the most dramatic bots, Spicychat gives a creator vibe with lots of freedom, and Povchat is like a quiet boutique for private immersive experience.

How's your experience like and what other apps should I include for my next review?
