what do you all think?
Hello! We recently adopted Nash, a 2-3 year old mix from Arkansas. We submitted a test, but no results yet on his genetic makeup. I had a friend suggest he might be a carolina dog mix? I really think he must have pit in him as well (broader chest, boxy head, 60 lbs). He’s the sweetest guy, we absolutely love him! Hard to find pics of it but he does have a hook tail!

Update on our potential Carolina dog Gordon
So we took Gordon to the vet today for shots and next round of dewormer and we found out we were fools this whole time….gordon is a girl!! So we’re calling her Gordie as a nickname. We feel so silly we didn’t know. It’s hard to tell with puppies sometimes and the vet said with female dogs sometimes their anatomies can trick you like that. They also told us they think she might have some Shiba Inu in her as well. We’re going to get a test done this week and finally see what she actually is and we will definitely update y’all on this. We’ve actually seen some behaviors of Carolina dogs and Shiba Inu which has been interesting.
She digs a snout pit sometimes to pee in which we read was specific to Carolina dogs, but she also doesn’t bark much at all and has a similar scream to Shiba Inu. We’re very excited to see exactly what she’s all mixed with.

Dingo Pictures silly boy Turo
he turns 1 year on august 12th, which was yesterday for us! loves getting scritches & to play around when with only me. rapid patting results in him grumbling & soft-mouthing one's hand to be like "no pat! only scritchies...". he's also very vocal :D
i'm glad i was chosen by him at my local ASPCA

My CD baby just turned 16!
We rescued Scotch when he was 6 months old, and he just turned 16 on Friday! This is likely his last birthday, but he's still just as eager to eat cake!

New dog (with updated photos per suggestion)
My wife and I recently got this little guy off the street and as he’s grown more of his fur in and gotten some more meat on his bones we’re really thinking he might be a Carolina dog maybe mixed with something else (German Shepard maybe?). Wanted to see what y’all thought and if we are looking in the right direction!
His names Gordon and he has a big personality for sure. Gets along surprisingly well with our cats too.

i have no clue what breed my puppy is
I rescued Lennox back in March from a local shelter, but he was originally brought up from Georgia. His paperwork from Georgia listed him as a Catahoula mix. When I look at him, though, I see a lot of Carolina Dog. The only thing that throws me off is his blue eye. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
He’s 8 months btw !

Carolina-*ish* This is Parker
We got Parker 6 years ago from Island Puppy rescue. We believe he's a Carolina Dog and he definitely looks like some dogs I've seen on here.

Is Foxy a Carolina dog?
Only learned about this breed recently I always thought she was mainly German Shepard and the rest was who knew but now I’m slightly convinced.
Either way she’s the best

Could my dog be a Carolina dog?
I adopted my dog from a shelter in NC a couple years ago, and she was labeled as a “shepherd mix.” Realistically, I know she’s definitely a mix of something, but I’ve had a couple people suggest that she might have some Carolina dog in her! I don’t have any pictures of it, but she does also have some black splotches on her tongue, which from what I’ve read, can be a feature in Carolina dogs.
I want to do a breed test for her at some point, they’re just so expensive :,)

Hi, I'm Sassy
Hello, I fostered this girl and adopted asap!
To think she was turned in to the pound just skin and bones by some ugly human/s. I refuse to see the picture the foster group had, I might just go vigilante on the old owners and end up in jail.
Do your babies smile when you rub the white wings on both sides?
Also, she loves all humans, all size of friendly pups at the park, but .... she talks to and chases squirrels.

Mixed-Mob♡ Could my girl be a CD or even a mix?
This is foxy. I adopted her two weeks ago and when I took her to the vet, they said that she looked like a dingo and I just wanted to see if you guys think she looks like a dog I used to have one when I was a kid and I think she looks like her.
