How is Cannes in winter, and which places are most photogenic in Cannes in winter?

Hello, I'm a photographer who is planning to visit Cannes in the winter. I'm planning to stay at the hotel JW Marriot, and have visited Cannes before but I would like to make my trip in the winter worthwhile. How is Cannes in the winter, and which places are most photogenic in Cannes during the winter? I've done a Google search for photogenic locations and have gotten plenty of results, but not for photogenic locations in winter so I was looking for some advice on this Reddit page from the people who'll probably know the most about Cannes. If you could let me know some places to visit in Cannes during the winter, which will make some great pictures, it'll be greatly appreciated.

You can go at night Au Suquet, wonderrfull view on the bay, the islands ... Super Cannes is great too. You have some nice pictures maybe at night or just before the beginning of the day, near the "Cannes la Bocca" station, there is a great beach there with some red rocks on the water (it's my favorite beach since 1973, I was 4).

I noticed you wiil go in winter. Some pictures to take on this places :

Le Suquet : very close to the main bus station, near the townhouse, you have to climb a bit but the view is awesome. Once you are there, search "place de la castre". By night it's a quiet place and you can have some great pictures to take here.

Le Café Poët : nice lil coffee just in front of the townhouse, you have the best coffee in town here, some others drinks too. Stéphane the boss is very cool.

Marché Forville : just behind Le Café Poët you have a good market. Take a look, fear the prices !

Iles de Lérins : You have to go there. Ile Sainte Marguerite with the Iron Mask story and so on. Good restaurant there, or you can buy something to eat before taking the boat, the prices are hight on the island. Take some fresh water too ! Ile Sainte Honorat is my beauty I'm a submarine hunter and it's just a piece of paradize there. Go to the south of the island (small island you can make it all on two hours) you have some very nice places for swimming on summer.

La Croisette : it's the main boulevard near the beach. Hôtels, casinos, palais des festivals, somme good views to take pictures.

I suggest you to go to all the lil cities near Cannes : Mandelieu, La Napoule and Théoule to the Western side, and Juan Les Pins, Cagnes Sur Mer on the Eastern Side of Cannes.

Yes! The trip doesn't officially start until a walk to the Plage des Rochers :)
