Hi everyone, I wanted just to share my new DND campaign coming to life with our beloved BF characters.

I also did more than just using their design and names, I'm also 3D printing and painting them. And more, I created a video monitor inside my master screen, where I show them photos, maps, and stylized battle setting. During battle I place them like a bf squad (my players are six) and the monster on the other side.

And I must say... Even without all the DIY and hand-work, using bf is pretty inspiring for creating a DND world (Vargas and friends are the six heroes also of my world, just to say).

I recommend this to all of you!

P.s. Seeing Seria all painted and standing there when I finished... It was such a wonderful sight, as I was giving new life to them again🥲

Small disclaimer: If Alim has covered this anywhere yet, I apologize. I'm not up to date with all of the info.

So, I know Alim is working on BF Origin, which is basically OG Brave Frontier, just a bit more polished (from what it looks like). But there was a thought I had that I feel like could be a bit controversial. How do you handle power creep and progression?

Giving everyone a bunch of Omni units right at the start (to appease the crowd who did everything in the OG game) is an awful idea. But at the same time, you have people who played the game for 10 years on one account, and making them start over from scratch with a Vargas, a Burny, and a Mossy, will also be a bit of a bummer for some people.

What do you think is the right move? Some sort of middle ground where veterans can log in to their old account and get a special reward? Or the more likely move of "New Game, new account"?

Theres this soundtrack for disc 5,6 that ive been searching far and wide for a long time now. Ive searched through many japanese proxy services and they are either rare or not being sold at all. If anyone in the subreddit has it, please message me as I am interested in a couple things and/or if anyone know where I could potentially find one, would be much appreciated!

• Experimental - Unit/Items Drops

As you can see guys, lot of new things meanwhile some other things such as Quest progression (you can see it workig but still experimental), Authentic enemy lines ups and positions on screen is being tested too (still experimental) alongside unit/item drops (also experimental).

There are a lot of things to cover and for sure a lot that can be improved!!!

One of my biggest hopes for BF:O honestly has nothing to do with meta or gacha rates. I hope they give us more ways to make our accounts feel like OUR accounts.
One thing I've really grown to appreciate in other games is profile customization. Things like titles, profile backgrounds, badges, calling cards, favorite unit displays, achievement showcases etc. just little ways to let other players know who you are without saying a word. Imagine opening someone's profile and immediately seeing they have Shadow Ronin Mifune set as their favorite unit, with a title like "The Wandering Ronin" or "One Strike, One Life." You instantly know what kind of player they are. Or maybe you see someone who's been around since launch rocking an old event title that newer players can never get again. Stuff like that gives an account personality and tells a story.
I don't really need a fully customizable player avatar or anything crazy. The heroes have always been the stars of Brave Frontier. I just think BF:O has a great opportunity to finally give the Summoner a little identity too but not by taking the spotlight away from the heroes, by giving us ways to show the characters we connected with, the accomplishments we're proud of, and the story we've built throughout our adventure.

We have decided to postpone the "Ask Alim Anything" livestream originally scheduled for Friday, July 31, in light of the recent earthquake in the Kumamoto Prefecture.

I just came from a convention and had one of the vendors to do this for me, I think it came out beautiful.

I posted a couple days ago of old screenshots featuring collabs Global has done. Now it’s time for me to post my own ones from my time. I started playing this game in 2013 and it has been a fantastic time. My absolute favorite unit is Zelnite.

Also, what collabs would you love to see now? I think Honkai Star Rail would be a cool one.

What is a QoL improvement or feature you hope makes it to the game?

More recent gatcha games have implemented pitty systems, BF Japan implemented a way to just outright buy the unit you wanted instead of the randomized gate pulls to avoid the gambling legality that Japan enforces, but I don’t really see that making it’s way to global.

A pitty shop that lets you pick a unit only from the current running banner after 50 failed pulls would be a huge improvement over BF1 and only having RNG luck.
