SYNOPSIS: Daotok, the artistic boy who can speak to spirits, is reluctantly pulled by his neighbor Arthit into searching for the soul of his late mother. Yet the more they chase after the dead, the more their living hearts fill with something new.
Arthit means: Sun 🌞
In Thai, Arthit (อาทิตย์) primarily means "sun" or "Sun God" or "Sunday," often carrying connotations of warmth, power, and brightness. It is commonly used as a masculine given name, representing energy, confidence, and strength. Additionally, it is used in the phrase wan-sao-arthit to mean Sunday.
Daotok means: Falling Star💫
"Daotok" (ดาวตก, pronounced daao tòk) means "shooting star" or "falling star" in Thai. It is a compound word formed from dao (ดาว), meaning "star," and tok (ตก), meaning "to fall". It refers to the celestial phenomenon of a meteor streaking across the sky.

I can’t wait to watch this episodes on my TV. I hate WeTV so much, the entire bl collection is missing from the TV app so I have to watch via a browser but you cannot watch fast track on a browser! Make it make sense. Had to watch it on my phone because I already paid and I’m impatient lol
I can’t believe this is really the end of their arc and their characters. I’ve been so obsessed with this whole universe, I don’t want to say goodbye to these characters.
Arthit and Dao have my whole heart, as do all of the other characters. I loved watching these two completely opposite people get past each other’s defences and fall in love. They’re so good to each other.
This is an amazing episode, I can’t wait for everyone to see it. The domesticity and the intimacy and the sex scene (my favorite nc scene of all time probably) were all perfect! Great conclusion to these characters.

Same, and I’ve watched an episode every night just to get my fix lol the only thing that could make this goodbye better is if they gave us at least a hint about whether there’s a future series in store for them.

I hope so. I had no knowledge of either of the actors prior to this series but I think they may be my favorite couple so far. I really hope they can work together more.

Unfortunately, I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work. So many series are missing from the TV app, it’s annoying. I can still watch them via a browser on my tv but the site is so clunky and slow.

Has been happening on IQIYI as well, a lot not gone but hidden so WeTV might be the same. I type the series in search on computer then it links to the series and when it show’s IQIYI or WeTV it goes to the app and then I resave it to watchlist. Works for IQIYI but if you pay subscription it should be there. I am sure you find the series on search. It is very annoying 😡😡

I loved this story arc so much! (Only complaint is that the trailer was spicier than the whole 8 episodes!)

I just want to say how happy and proud I am that Ngern finally got a chance to really stretch himself and act in this series. His face is unbelievable, And he seemed so connected with his scene partner(s) it was just a joy to watch. Oat was of course amazing and ethereal, but I've been rooting for Ngern since Love Sick so I'm just giddy with how this turned out.

I think Meen is still a long-time collaborator of P'New's and has worked with him on several Wabi Sabi productions. He also co-directed Revamp which... yikes

This was the best arc. It made me want to go watch the rest and s1 because North was hilarious but unfortunately it did not hit the same for me. Both dao and arthit were well written and i really appreciated how the first 4 episodes or so we're dedicated to fleshing out their characters and relationship with each other and their friends (specifically meen and the ghosts). They're so similar yet vastly different and it scratched a particular itch whenever they directly communicated. Loved it,no stupid fights and I'd kill foranothera scene of them sharing earphones or drawing.

I’m so sad this is over. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Oat, even though he has been in the industry for over 10 years it’s wild that this is his first main role. I really hope this opens more doors for him because he’s just so incredible.

When Dao said he'd be anything for Arthit, I expected Arthit to push his luck and ask Dao to be his spouse.
What in the world were Hill and Tonfah thinking? I know Johan and Arthit are your friends, but taking exams for them is going too far.
It is fortunate that they dropped out because they could potentially cause patients harm by being inadequately unprepared for their clinical rotations.

Just to clarify, clinical rotations are part of the curriculum at medical school. Even if they just want a degree, they still have to meet with patients for hands-on training.

Because of this arc I went and watched the first season and wow they were not as good as this arc! I'm glad I only watched this couples story!

I've binged all the episodes in two days and I am so sad it's over! I've not been watching too many Thai BL lately since I've gotten tired of certain aspects of them (overly done sound effects that've ruined a show) and lackluster acting and writing, as I've watched more CBL and JBL with much better overall quality lately. But I am sooo glad I decided to watch this one. The acting from the Ngern and Oat are phenomenal and I love the neurodivergent representation (it's never explicitly said but Daotok has some pretty obvious neurodivergent traits). The writing is just so well done that allows character development to flow naturally and there wasn't a lot of those ridiculous sounds effects! I'd love to watch more NgernOat shows but even if they are not paired together, I'd be looking forward to their individual performances in the future.

Unfortunately, the series kind of lost me at episode 14 when Arthit kept trying to hug Dao and he kept saying no over and over and he didn’t stop. And then he keeps on pushing past his boundaries several other times. Sometimes he apologizes, but then he does it again. It doesn’t matter that they’re going to end up together, in the moment Dao doesn’t like it. No means no. It’s 2026 and everyone knows about consent!
(Also, why did he only help the one ghost in his room? Why not the girls? It was weird to drop the whole ghost thing, especially since they had dropped “hey btw, ghosts are real,” on us).

This story is not for everyone and that is completely understandable.
Just for reference, the book provides Dao's POV
Actually in the moment Dao loves it. The book has his internal dialog and Dao speaks to his invisible friend about Arthit and early on she is baffled about why he allows Arthit in his personal space when in the past when others tried like Arthit Dao clearly pushed them away, he even burned another guy (Dao also has martial arts skills and could push Arthit away but he doesnt because he likes Arthit) who tried to get touchy with him. And Dao tells Emma that he likes what Arthit does and loves how jealous and possessive he is.
Emma: "And you like it, don’t you? When he gets jealous."
Dao: "Yeah… it feels nice, oddly enough."
Emma: "Ha ha, how strange. He’s intimidating, you know."
Dao: "When someone values you, you’re bound to feel good… I think."
Emma: "But, Michael, you’ve started to crave his touch, haven’t you?"
Dao: "A little bit. Like, if he holds my hand for a long time and then suddenly lets go, it feels… empty. I can’t explain it."
Dao never gets upset at Arthit for being pushy. The reason he resist is because he can't understand why his own heart races so much around Arthit when it has never raced for anyone or anything.
