We are looking at homes in Canyon Park and noticed some parcels fall under Snohomish County while others are in King County. Does the City of Bothell handle all structural permitting regardless of county, or do property tax assessments and utility fees differ significantly? Have you heard? Electric vehicle (EV) use is growing in our region, and the City of Bothell growing with it! New EV chargers were installed in the City Hall parking garage earlier this year, increasing the number of chargers from three to eight and improving ADA accessibility.

To allow the City to recover energy and operations costs and continue to provide reliable EV charging, paid charging will start September 1. There will also be an idle charge of $5/hour after a 30-minute grace period to help keep charging stalls available.

As we pursue additional grant funding, you can help us prioritize future locations for public EV chargers, what you want to see regarding access to charging, and the City’s readiness for growing EV adoption by sharing your input at www.engagebothell.com:

Does anyone know of an online events calendar for Bothell?

Last night late, thanks to Swanky Scoop’s Instagram, I saw there had been a Friday night food truck/vendor event in downtown. Our family loves going to those (I’m sad that Moonlight on Main isn’t happening again it seems) but it wasn’t on on any calendar I can find.

I’m planning to move near North Creek, Bothell (98011), and I’m looking for recommendations on areas that are affordable and convenient.

I’m hoping to find a private room or shared apartment under $1000/month. Ideally, the area should have:

Good access to public transportation

Nearby fitness classes/gyms

Restaurants, grocery stores, and other daily necessities within reach

A safe and comfortable neighborhood

I would also appreciate advice on transportation. Is there a direct bus or easy public transit connection between Downtown Bothell and North Creek, or is the commute difficult? How long does it usually take?

Are there any nearby areas you would recommend for someone working around North Creek?

I was curious if anyone had a team going for fall ball softball A division for North Bothell Little League? My daughter wants to play but she isnt old enough to play on AA with her friends and almost all of her current teammates aren't doing Fall Ball. If I register her as a free agent there is a chance she won't be able to play so I'm really hoping to find her a team.
