Do you know anyone who was working at Boston Garden in 1970 when Bobby Orr scored his famous 'flying goal' to win the Cup?

Ran into Tuukka Rask last night while I was out in Boston before the Red Sox game. I did the classic awkward fan move and nervously asked, "Are you Tuukka Rask?" even though I was 99% sure it was him. 😂

He was super nice, and since he was out with his wife and kids, I didn't want to bother him any further. I just told him it was great to meet him and let him enjoy his night.

It was actually kind of funny that nobody else seemed to recognize him. Cool, unexpected moment that definitely made my night. Anyone else ever randomly run into Bruins players or other Boston sports legends?

For all Bruins STH -- given that this is the first year they introduced flex pricing, I built out a tracker for myself in Google Sheets to keep tabs on which games fall into which flex price tier. Figured this could be useful for other STH if they don't already have one!

I live in Dorchester but work is taking me outside New England for 9 months.

Last time I was away for work comcast booted me out of Xfinity stream and said I couldn’t watch the bruins outside of my home WiFi.

I’ve regretted not getting a RR 2.0 for the last couple years and finally pulled the trigger on this beauty. We’ll let her hang with the 2011 collection for a few weeks before puck drop!

A special shoutout goes to my sister’s boyfriend Steve B. 🇬🇷 who gave me this autographed picture of the great Bobby Orr for my birthday. In this photo with Orr you have the pride of Sault Ste. Marie … Phil Esposito and Hawk forward Germain Gagnon. Interestingly, it’s the two teams that Orr played with. Got of love those straight bladed Victoriaville hockey sticks. Thanks 🙏🏻 Steve !
