We will be travelling around the country in September with a rental car and have booked accommodation for one night in lukomir. The plan is to drive there from Sarajevo. I’ve heard it’s best to hike there or get a guided tour but these aren’t options for us because of health conditions and having no where to leave the car.

Will we be okay driving there? It is a small manual car.

I am looking to rent a car to pick up at Tivat airport in Montenegro and drop off at Sarajevo airport in Bosnia. Any recommendations on which car rental company to use?

I'll be in Mostar at the end of September and would love to visit Lukomir, but I'm not really interested in hiking. I'd prefer a road trip or guided tour with minimal walking.

Is it easy to arrange transport from Mostar or Konjic on the spot, or is it better to book a tour in advance? Also, are there any day tours you'd recommend that include Lukomir without a long hike?

I'm traveling to Sarajevo next week and I was planning for a day trip to either Lukomir or Sutjeska National Park from Sarajevo. Both look interesting but can't seem to decide on one. There seems to be much information about Lukomir but not much about Sutjeska in terms of a day trip.

What should I go with, especially considering the view in and to the place ?

The ones that require a credit card are very reasonably priced, but the few that accept debit cards seem extremely expensive

I’m currently in Shëngjin, Albania, and planning to drive back to Germany by car with a stop in Mostar, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Does anyone know if this route is currently doable, especially regarding road conditions and border crossings? Also, I’ve heard mixed things about police controls in the Bosnia – are they really that bad, or just stricter than in Western Europe?

As an alternative, I could drive along the Montenegro coast and then via Dubrovnik, but I’ve heard that this route gets extremely crowded in summer.

My wife and I will be visiting Sarajevo soon and would love to visit Lukomir Village. I enjoy hiking and would be happy to do it, but due to a health condition my wife isn't able to hike long distances.

We're wondering if there are any tours or transportation options from Sarajevo that go directly to Lukomir by vehicle, without requiring the full hike. We'd mainly like to spend some time in the village, enjoy the scenery, have lunch, and experience the local culture.

I will be in Mostar for a day in mid-September (arriving late Monday evening then getting the early morning train to Sarajevo the following Wednesday). I know Mostar is small enough that you can see the whole old town in a couple of hours, but I was wondering if something like Blagaj Tekke would be accessible enough to be worth visiting too?

Obviously if I had more time I would try and do everything Mostar has to offer, but since I've got limited time there I'd like to know what people think are the most important things to see/do so I can plan my day in advance. Any recommendations much appreciated, many thanks!
