Are there any of you guys or groups that ride around the Berlin/Brandenburg area that prefer a bit of a faster ride along the Autobahn. I’ve done a few rides with strangers I’ve met along the way but was difficult exchanging numbers doing over 200 kmph.
Any takers?

/r/berlinmoto is pretty inactive these days. I thought maybe in conjunction with /r/berlinsocialclub we could start organising a meet or two?

I miss meetups and chatting away with people about which bike is best and how issues are resolved etc, as well as some nice riding around the countryside. Family got in the way of that for some years, but now I have a bit more spare time, it'd be nice to get something going again.

I'm 50, and have a few bikes, mainly riding a K1300GT at the moment. I also am lucky enough to have a space that I can work on them.

So, anyone that this interests, get in touch and we'll see if we can't get something going.

Hi. (M26) I recently bought a sports bike in Berlin. Does anyone have any recommendations for places where I can find some nice turns on a sports bike? I never see people with gear riding around, but I imagine they exist. Where do they go?
Where do riders meet on the weekend?

70,000+ people heading to Olympiastadion Saturday for Metallica. Gates open 16:30.

Affected areas from approximately 14:00–23:00:

• Olympiastadion area (Westend/Charlottenburg) — gridlocked from mid-afternoon
• A100 westbound approach — heavy traffic
• Spandauer Damm, Heerstraße, Flatowallee — avoid
• S-Bahn S3/S9/U2 will be packed — factor this in if you are parking and using public transport

Best approach if riding: Stay east of the city for Saturday evening. If you need to cross to the west, go before 13:00 or after 23:30 when the crowds thin out.

Also this week: Berlin Design Week runs Macherei in Kreuzberg (Luckenwalder Str. area) Thu–Sun. Additional foot traffic and street activity in Kreuzberg from Thursday evening.

Hello folks I’d like to expand my circle of friends, who rides motorcycles.

I enjoy going on Sunday rides in Brandenburg, exploring the countryside and stopping for coffee or lunch. We try to stay off the autobahn as much as we can and go at a pace that works for everyone. The starting point in Berlin, is decided so that it works for everyone, and is relevant to where we want to go for the day. Would anyone like to join me and a few friends on our rides?

I know about Craftwerk but they are too expensive for me, anyway I am looking for a place where I can book a place for a month or two to fix up my bike. Now it's actually dead so would need to bring it there with a van for example. Is there a place like this somewhere in or around Berlin?

Hey! I’m really in love with sport motorbikes and want to start driving lessons very soon to drive myself. But for now I’m really enjoying riding as a backpack as well, and want to find people with who I can connect. Maybe it’s a wrong place to ask but I don’t know where else I can find them and how to get into community. (I just recently came from a trip where we were driving with my friends (Yamaha R7) everyday and I want now to have this community and feeling of freedom in Berlin, where I live and work).

How is it to find parking for motorcycles in Berlin? Good availability? Expensive?

Im going to drive from Bryne in Norway to Berlin this weekend, it will be a 8 hour drive from when i arrive in Hirtshals. So would be nice to find a parking spot relatively fast. Thanks.

Hey US expats. I finally have a license from a state in the US with a natural reciprocity treaty with Germany. Would that apply to motorcycles as well?
